The food was good but the overall place was bad. The person at the counter seemed confused and barely spoke to me. She seemed to be confused about what I ordered and left me feeling confused. Every time I have gone to this particular Dunkin' my order has been wrong. Literally every single time. Today I went and ordered a medium cold brew with 3 liquid sugar, 5 caramel swirl, and two cream. I get my coffee only to see it's a large cold brew, which I did not want because they are out of medium cups. That's fine, I can get over that. But they also did not give me my receipt. I wanted my receipt. They did not even offer to reprint my receipt as well. So when I went inside to tell them my order was wrong i waited for ten minutes before someone finally came to the counter. As she was starting to help me I accidentally spilled the drink so that's on me. I got a new drink that was correctly made but the cup was not marked. So to the people who work at this dunkin, learn how to mark a cup and maybe try asking if someone would like their receipt. I will no longer be going to this location anymore. read more

I just noticed how DD has a vegetarian breakfast sausage on the menu, I think that's great with my darling wife of 25 years being a vegetarian I ordered one up. Unfortunately I drove away and never got my breakfast sandwich, stopped back in after going to the dog park and was promptly given a fresh made sandwich a cup of coffee on the house and some fun banter and conversation while I waited. It's great to have a neighborhood coffee shop, who cares if it's a chain or a small mom and pop! The staff and customers are all local and that is what makes it special. I am a EVERYDAY sometimes 2-3x a day customer and every time someone messes up my iced coffee. Either I pay for turbo shot and don't receive it or they don't add enough cream or sugar like I've asked. When I do tell them that it's wrong the teens are very rude!! You repeat the order back to me and it's right but I get to the window and it's wrong? Come on! Most of them just stand there chatting with each other and don't really focus on the customers. I was just at the drive-thru at the Dunkin Donuts on Pearl St in Essex Jct VT. I placed my coffee order and waited for the car ahead of me to get their order. I observed the employee hand them their order with her mask entirely around her neck, not covering her face at all. I could also see two other employees with their masks barely over their mouths. Per the Governor's orders ALL employees are REQUIRED to WEAR face masks and cover their mouth and nose. Wearing a mask around the neck, or only the mouth, does not protect anyone, or the food being served from droplets these employees have transmitted. I did not take my order and am completely outraged by the lack of compliance with the Governor's orders at this Dunkin Donuts location. read more

I usually get what I come for here (donuts, coffee...it's not that complicated). But this location could use a facelift and maybe a space-lift. It's really tiny and there is no drivethru. The lack of a drivethru makes for a very busy tiny parking lot out front. They seem to get enough traffic in customers to warrant an expansion here. The service is good and they seem fast enough for the morning crowd. Don't expect a huge selection outside of donuts. I like an occasional bran muffin but haven't seen one available here in a few months. read more

I live down the road, this dunkin donuts is on my way to work, I have stopped in here quit a few times, (only after it has been long enough to forget about the last time). Never have I ever gotten what I have ordered. Even when I have gone inside to order. They always either forget something (hash browns) or give me the wrong sandwich or drink. Unfortunately I now have to be that person in the drive thru that does not leave until I have checked my order thoroughly and then has to knock on the window for them to correct it. Its not the girls working the counters fault. I go in there everyday to the Pearl st Essex store in Vermont, over 10 years now. I went in Sunday evening Feb 10 at 5pm and I got my usual lg coffee with espresso shot which should be $3.68. My card was charged 19.98. I went in and the girls who took my order had no idea what to do. They call some manager she says take my name and number and someone will call. This never works cause nobody ever gets back to you. I call to check on status of my overcharge and as I suspected nobody had a clue I even made a complaint. The old get the customer out your face take a number hope they go away trick. That wont work cause everyday I go in there ill be reminded I was charged roughly the equivalent of 5 coffees for 1 coffee. Ill be contacting corporate. I LOVE THIS LOCATION! They are a clean, fun and friendly crew of employees. They go out of their way to assist you and I just wish they had a different entrance and parking lot.
