These are definitely specialty donuts that feel handmade and would be great for events like a birthday or a wedding, something with real significance. The service was excellent. The owner of the donut stand, when I saw her at Holi Seaport (downtown Manhattan), was very nice and humble. Even though she was working a packed station, she still took the time to serve me personally. She sold out all her donuts, which tells you just how amazing they are. The ambience depended on the event, since it was just a stand -- I didn't go to her actual shop in Weehawkens. Given that she does a lot of events between New York and New Jersey, the vibe will vary depending on which one you attend.

Cakey, moist, delicious... very good. I also tried their chorizo breakfast burrito. It was a little heavy but very tasty. I could only make it through half. In fact, I work so close and the donuts are so good that I have now become a regular at The Donut Pub. I normally get two donuts, and have been exploring the types of donuts. So far I've had the chocolate dipper, double chocolate dipper, Brooklyn creme, vanilla creme, strawberry creme and Boston creme. They never disappoint. All of the staff members are efficient and sweet, even when the shop is busy. Even if there's a line or they are making a bunch of orders, their service is consistently extremely fast without sacrificing quality. Their matcha latte and regular coffee latte are also pretty good. The cups are adorable. The interior is the old diner from back in the 90s style, and surprisingly they have a decent amount of seating considering how small the establishment is. Run, don't walk! (You might feel like you should run off the calories if you try the food but I personally feel like the donuts are worth it)
