Do N O T come to this Dunkin. I am currently sitting in the drive thru as they remake my food because my partner observed them make our entire order without gloves. Not only is this terrible under normal circumstances this is especially egregious and intentionally negligent in our current climate. DISGUSTING! Zero stars!

The donuts, coffee and ice cream are the favorites you have grown to expect. That's what you should go here for. The lattes are crap. That is true of all Dunkin Donuts, though, so this one isn't doing anything different. I don't know how Starbucks turns out espresso drinks that are on point 80-90% of the time when so many other places can not. Dunkin Donuts espresso drinks taste like a monkey pushed a button on a machine and then handed you the cup. There is nothing in the cup that is worth the price of a high priced drink. They might as well just charge $2 and let you make it yourself. People are nuts over Dunkin Donuts though and there seem to be more of them in the area now than any other coffee chain. The coffee is better than Starbucks, so that must be it. And you can get it with a donut. True to the core. Coffee, donuts, ice cream. Skip the rest.

This is what I thought I was buying as a treat for my boys but I got this sad thing instead. See photos below.

Charged me 10 cents to put one scoop of ice cream in..but the cone was free? The cone was disgusting--tasted like it sat out for a couple days. I will never come back to this DD! Cone tasted so bad my sister threw it out.

There has been times when my drink didn't come out the same as when I first bought them. So I guess it just depends on who is making the drink. This is a small little cafe that has some seats for you to sit and eat. Food I tried was yummy and the tiramisu latte is also one of my favorites. The Thai tea latte is also a bit more creamy which is yummy and not overwhelmingly sweet.

It was grossly sweet, so sweet that it genuinely made me a little nauseous. I only took two sips before asking if they could make it less sweet or possibly switch it for a matcha latte, which was the exact same price. I was asked if I was going to pay for a new drink, which I found frustrating. If the issue is with the drink itself, especially when I had barely touched it, I don't think the customer should have to pay again for a replacement of equal value. They offered to add more milk, but it didn't really help, and I was also told I'd have to pay if I wanted them to add more tea. At that point, it felt like there was no real effort to resolve the issue. I even had my friend try the drink, and she agreed that it didn't really taste like a Thai latte. To me, it tasted mostly like milk, food coloring, and an overwhelming amount of sugar. I also ordered a garlic cream cheese bread, which was good. Not the best I've had, but definitely not bad. I'd say their pastries are a step above their drinks based on my experience. I'm also in the service industry, so I try to be understanding when things aren't perfect. That's why the way this was handled bothered me more than the drink itself. This felt like a very easy situation to fix, and I would've handled it differently with a customer. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect some willingness to make a reasonable correction when a customer is clearly unhappy with something they've barely consumed. Overall, I probably won't be coming back. The staff were friendly, and it is a quiet place to study with free Wi-Fi, so I could see myself recommending it for grabbing a small pastry and getting some work done between classes. But for the prices, I don't think the quality or customer service was enough to make me want to return, especially when I can go to Tous Les Jours and get what I consider better quality for a similar price. I wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the drink and the way the situation was handled left a pretty bad impression.

The busy-ness was a testament to its popularity, yet it was comfy and relaxed because there was a variety of seating areas where one could enjoy their beverage and/or food. Many were reading, listening to personal headphones, chatting with friends. The atmosphere was lively. I loved that the menu had a variety of items on it... Definitely something for everyone. This is one of the few shops that have a delicious cardomom syrup. I actually ended up ordering a second beverage because the first one was so delicious!

And saw the "under" orientation of the toilet paper, which violates the original patent for toilet paper holders from 1891, where the paper clearly goes over the top. The "over" configuration: * prevents the roll from brushing the wall * makes it easier to grab with one hand * reduces accidental unrolling * and, most importantly, does not make decent people feel like they're living in a lawless society. What you have here is bathroom anarchy. I must admit that tile and brushed metal fixtures actually look really nice, which somehow makes the backward roll even more upsetting. It's like a beautifully plated meal served on the floor. Moreover, the ceiling contains approximately 400 judgmental eyes observing you while you attempt to live your life. The wallpaper on the ceiling (on the ceiling!!!) has a pattern based on the "evil eye" motif (sometimes called nazar), which shows up in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern design. Traditionally it's supposed to ward off bad luck or jealousy. All it does in this case is confirm the establishment has abandoned reason and at least one of the people who work has met a psychedelic mushroom. Still, the vibe everywhere else in this place is amazing and the coffees are very very good!

La Poteria was the perfect midpoint to grab our morning caffeine fix and a bite to eat before we hit the Harpers Ferry hiking trails. The cafe was beautifully decorated with marble tables, a ton of plants, and plenty of couches and cozy armchairs. There was a ton of natural light from the giant windows, but they also had a number of aesthetic hanging lights, some of which were exposed bulbs and others of which were in little wicker baskets. As far as the food and drink goes, I loved their latte. The coffee was rich and not overly acidic, and it was strong enough that you could still appreciate the chocolatey, nutty undertones under the generous helping of steamed milk and foam. I also loved the little heart sprinkle they added in the center of the mug -- such a cute final touch! My friend and I also split two of their savory items, the cheese arepa and spinach and feta empanada. The empanada was a little different than what I was used to, as it was super flaky and buttery, with an almost croissant or puff pastry-like dough. It was delicious and the savory feta went wonderfully with the spinach and the slightly peppery mayo-based sauce they served it with. The arepa was also lovely, with a generous helping of gooey melted cheese on top of the slightly chewy, slightly sweet corn-based flatbread.

It took a very long time for me to receive my order. When it arrived, it didn't look thick, but it was very crunchy. After my first bite, I was not a fan as it stuck to the roof of my mouth. I don't know if that was because it was sugary. I have never had that experience eating other waffles. The rest, I decided to cut into much smaller pieces, but overall, I ended up just picking on the dish and didn't really eat much of it. For drink, I had the Dirty Chai Latte. I loved the taste of this and the temperature was perfect. What I didn't like was my cup had spillage on all sides before it was served to me, which gave the impression that it was initially filled to the brim. Quite unusual. Overall, I feel it was an off day as things seemed rather busy. However, that will not stop me from coming back to this spot as my previous experiences have been great.
