I simply told her no I want sugar and instead took it upon themselves to continue to add milk instead of sugar to my iced latte, this has happened on multiple occasions where I have stated I want liquid cane sugar, and one cream and instead, I am given a cup of milk with a few drops of coffee. The donuts, coffee and ice cream are the favorites you have grown to expect. That's what you should go here for. The lattes are crap. That is true of all Dunkin Donuts, though, so this one isn't doing anything different. I don't know how Starbucks turns out espresso drinks that are on point 80-90% of the time when so many other places can not. Dunkin Donuts espresso drinks taste like a monkey pushed a button on a machine and then handed you the cup. There is nothing in the cup that is worth the price of a high priced drink. They might as well just charge $2 and let you make it yourself. People are nuts over Dunkin Donuts though and there seem to be more of them in the area now than any other coffee chain. The coffee is better than Starbucks, so that must be it. And you can get it with a donut. True to the core. Coffee, donuts, ice cream. Skip the rest. read more

This place is a joke! Simple order of two black coffees, plain bagel with plain cream cheese and an Old Fashioned donut. Received a burned bagel with cream cheese, one coffee with cream and sugar and no donut. We went inside to order this! Told the person who appeared to be mgmt, that we needed two black coffees and the donut. She simply walked away! Employees are more interested in socializing (loud talking, etc) as opposed to helping customers. The young cashier short changed us and my husband had to ask how much it was, as soon as he did the extra dollar appeared immediately. Came in for a sweet tea and a regular restroom stop, this is the closest dunkin near me. Tea was fine, definitely not fresh but I'm not crazy picky with the limited options. I'd give this review about a 2 star but things get interesting from here. I mentioned restroom distinctly, they weren't exceptionally clean but definitely could've used some TLC. I noticed the lock was very finicky, so I pushed it in really hard and verified that it locked. However, as I sat down to pinch a grumpy this is where the adventure starts. I kept getting knocks on the door. That's fine, other people need to relieve themselves. But, this escalates and a man wiggles and shimmys the door right open. We make uncomfortable eye contact, And he quickly exits. Pants around my ankles, I waddle over to re-lock the broken handle again. (Note: I hit that lock in firmly, and again it set in as it would be in the locked position) so I sit back down and within 30 seconds no knock, another man throws the door open. At this point; I audibly asked "really?" And he slammed the door and ran off. So I'm heated, I scuffle over and lock the door as I whisper words under my breath. Surely this is a coincidence, and I go to finish my poo. Like clockwork, not more than 15 seconds later a young boy this time enters with ease into my stall. I LITERALLY THOUGHT I WAS ON A PRANK TV SHOW AT THIS POINT!!!!! But then, shortly after the DAD of the kid COMES IN SIDE WITH HIS OTHER SON AGAIN! I should've brought a cheese platter because apparently there was a FREAKING PARTY IN THE BATHROOM I WAS IN!!! 5 people walked in on me, within about a 5-6 minute window. Furious, I quickly finish up, and go to the nearest employee. To A young man in glasses I say "excuse me, you seriously should fix the bathroom lock, 5 guys just walked in on me mid toilet time and I locked Every single time." No apology, no empathy, he simply says "oh yeah you just gotta hit the lock hard." I've never encountered in my life an experience such as this. 1 star, never again. If I could have selected zero, I would have. This was the WORST Dunkin' Donuts I've ever visited. I use the word visited because technically, my fiancé and I were not even served. We exited off of I-270 to get coffee and breakfast sandwiches and walked into the store. That was our first mistake. The signs advertising the Dunkin' Donuts don't have arrows, so drivers have to guess if they are heading in the right direction. Once we entered, we were ignored -- completely. The two employees were so focused on fulfilling drive-thru orders they didn't acknowledge our presence or make eye contact. My fiancé leaned over at the counter to get one employee's attention and she projected an attitude of "Oh, yeah, I might at some point get around to serving you." We gave up and left. Having grown up in Boston and eating Dunkin' Donuts since I was a little kid this is by far the worst location I've ever been to. The bagels are either burnt or very stale. You are essentially biting into a very dry crappy bagel on a regular basis. The donuts are also stale. The sandwiches have been like warm or extra chewy. Going through the drive-thru is a total crapshoot: cold coffee, the wrong coffee, the wrong sandwich, missing items. Go inside, mix the poor customer experience with the product issues outlined above and you won't go back. I have given this location numerous opportunities since its location is convenient, but I'd rather go out of my way and visit the Urbana location. Don't go here. read more

I'm not one to usually complain, but I was beyond frustrated with my experience at this Dunkin Donuts (Hyattstown, MD). I visited this specific location tonight, Feb. 23rd around 7pm. I was told by the young lady at the drive through speaker that it would be $10 and some change for my order. When I pulled up to the window, another young lady proceeded to give me my food. She didn't ask for payment, so I assumed she thought I paid with the other young lady. Trying to be polite, I informed her I didn't pay yet, and she starts laughing with her co-worker as they take and run my card, telling me it's now $13 and some change for my order. I asked her if she mixed up my order with the people in front of me because she originally told me $10. I know it's only a $3 difference, but her excuse was, "The total I told you didn't include tax." I've never had someone tell me the total without tax, then tell me it was $3 in tax for a $10 order. The two girls proceed to laugh and when I go to pull away, the one girl says "I just guessed for their order." I get home and go to eat my bagel (keep in mind I'm not one to usually complain about things being burnt) but this bagel is not even edible. I ended up throwing it away. If they would have at least offered to make a new bagel because they accidentally burned it, I would have been totally fine! The fact that they didn't even ask if the burnt bagel would be okay for me goes to show how much they care about their customers. These girls really need to learn maturity and responsibility when interacting with people. I'm not asking for anything free from this, I'm just expressing my frustration with my experience here. The staff was patient while my daughter picked her donut, and still when my husband leisurely wandered over to pick out his donut. I requested ice in my coffee and my daughter's hot chocolate, and they put the perfect amount in so we were able to enjoy our drinks right away. Considering I had just received a very confused look this morning in NC when I made the same request at a local shop, and they ended up giving me an iced latte instead, this simple understanding was appreciated. The servers weren't overly friendly, but considering this is a Saturday, I understand how they feel, after years in retail:) The restrooms have a sign stating they are for paying customers only, FYI.
