Came here for some donuts on Thanksgiving. Felt so bad for calling to see if they were open on the holiday as they reluctantly said "yes" in the most annoyed tone possible. We got there around 10am and were surprised to find that they were already in such low supply of most of the flavors yet they did not seem busy at all. Still, it was a fairly quick visit, we got what we came for, and the donuts did not last long in our house. We got a dozen donuts for $11.49. I see why so many have rated this spot low.... I stop by with my family on the way to my brothers house from the airport. I ordered the 2 for $5 Bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich and asked the cashier to not add the bacon. She stated that without the bacon I could not get the deal. Surprised to see the extremely low ratings, but it is not that bad! Wife and I are not looking for a gourmet experience at a DD/BR. We drop in for a doughnut/pastry or some ice cream. Certainly not for any food, per se. It is a busy place. Two distinct offerings, each with many options that require a person to fill you order. Add to that their drive-through that competes with the inside servers. And not only do the staff have to serve, they have to continually prepare coffee an iced tea, restock doughnuts and keep the place clean and picked up. I would not like to work here, but do like to eat their products. Not necessarily 31 flavors of BR, but enough to give you choice. You can get just plain ice cream, but also sundaes, cakes, sandwiches and other ice cream-related items. Prices are OK. The array of doughnuts is not as extensive as a full scale DD store that only does one product line. The standards are here, along with some slightly different items. I am not a big doughnut eater, so there is plenty for me to choose from. Have your expectations adjusted when you come in. You will get what you want and the servers do work pretty hard to see that you are satisfied. read more

It amazes me how someone can invest their money in a business and not keep their eye on the prize. I've been going to DD for 40 years and was excited to see one opening in my area. This one has some issues. They don't open on time some of the time, baked goods, i.e bagels etc are not available because the baker didn't show up or the oven was broke. When the oven was fixed the bagel I ordered looked like a bread blob with no hole. I was told this is how they always make them. So sad. This location is terrible. It is the only one near me with a drive thru. I drive 20 minutes to get to this location on the weekends, and they never have what I want so I always have to leave and go somewhere else. They never have any everything, or onion bagels, cheese, bacon or the flavored coffee that I want. Their coolata machine is always broken. Mind you I have not had the best luck at this location in the past and have often had to wait 10-15 minutes to receive my order. I started going again regularly (every morning) and was impressed by the turn around! Unfortunately, the last three mornings my "sugar-free" coffee had so much sugar in it was like drinking sweetened sand - even after confirming in the window that it was sugar free! I have always been a huge fan of DD however this location has just about changed that for good. Just like other reviews have said, they NEVER have anything that is listed on their menu. This morning my son and I hit the drive through and they are out of flat bread breakfast sandwiches, they are out of OJ, they were out of the pretzel breakfast sandwiches. Then when I asked what they did have she told me so I ordered that only to get to the window and for her to tell me they were out of those as well. I politely asked for my money back and left. I don't know about anyone else but I don't have a half an hour in the morning for this type of service. This is not the first time, the lack of service here is pretty consistent. Last time I went I ordered a flat bread sandwich only to head off to work and open up a ripped up, burnt piece of flat bread. Seriously you served this to me?
