Yes, there was a long line when I was here in Terminal 4 for my last fight. Moved slow because of the kiosk ordering system. Still not sure how I really feel about many of these places implementing this way of ordering and taking human interaction out of the equation. Sometimes it works well and other times its inadequate. When it comes to staff service and friendliness I guess it depends on time of day, how busy the terminal is, and what mood they are in. A roll of the dice! Avoid unless you have ample time and patience. Ordering is self service through two large screens. Long lines. The line moves extremely slowly. No seating area. Even a simple donut order takes up to 3 minutes to arrive even when the staff isn't handling other orders. It doesn't even taste good. How can an old recipe go wrong? If you're hungry head out of the airport to one of the other stations using the Air Train and save time as well as get better options. read more

Stopped to get some breakfast here as it's literally next to gate b20. It was clean, and the line moved fast; there were no tables, just takeaway foods. As it's an express version, there's a limited menu. Drinks: hot coffee/decaf, iced coffee, cream, or milk (all on tap to self-serve). Food: variety of donuts and bagels. This store is a joint venture with Jetbox that provides sandwiches, salads, and cold drinks. On the Dunkin side, everything was pretty standard. The attending employee wasn't the most motivated, yet it was 6am, so idk. The cashier was friendly. The big surprise here was the egg sandwich... there are no signs of price, and when I went to pay, it was $12.99. For the size, filling, etc, I'd suggest buying from the shake shack two stores down and getting a hot egg sandwich for cheaper. read more

Do yourself a favor and avoid this Dunkin at all costs. Every single experience has been absolutely awful, and it's all because of the lazy, rude, and inconsiderate staff (who I'm surprised haven't developed vertigo from their constant rolling of the eyes). You would think ordering from kiosks would help with efficiency and getting your orders on time, but that is sadly the opposite. Expect to wait 15 minutes minimum for a drink and/or donut because they're too busy talking instead of actually working. read more

I ordered 2 glazed donuts and a filled donut with a large cappacinno. They gave me a chocolate donut I took it back and asked for a glazed donut. I was told since I walked off with it they were not going to exchange for a glazed. Terrible customer service. Terrible attitude from the manager and the girl who prepared. It was not more than 5 minutes and I don't know what happened to my receipt since I was carrying my 2 carry-on bags. I don't love NEW YORK! The DD location in terminal 4 at JFK is awful. They are extremely inefficient despite appearing to be adequately staffed. I ordered a coffee and it took them 11 minutes to complete the order. The cashier was visibly annoyed when I politely asked how much longer my coffee would take. This is an airport and people are in a hurry, it should not take 11 minutes to get a plain black coffee. Awful service and design. There is no option for zero stars. I stood under the giant pink hanging ORDER HERE signage next to two cash registers for seemingly an eternity. Finally a cranky worker yells at me to go order at the kiosk, which in itself is complete BS. Hate Dunkin. I didn't need that donut anyway. read more

This goes for all restaurants and vendors inside of airports. I always give you a little slack because my expectations are automatically lowered inside the airport because I know it is a pain in the &%s to operate there. That said, these guys do ok. It's Dunkin' coffee, it's usually hot. I never feel like the donuts are very fresh so I usually pass on those (they never have my favorite one anyway-sour cream) but their hot sandwiches are fine. Not gourmet but you know what you are getting. Staff? This is where hot and miss truly applies. Usually they are friendly enough. Efficient enough but I have seen both extremes from happy and service oriented to just straight apathy. I fly Alaska Airlines all the time out of JFK and this particular Dunkin' is by the gates. I was disappointed. The coffee did not taste fresh and the giant flasks looked unappealing though I'm told they are only temporary. Also do they clean the flasks between each batch or just refill? No mocha, latte or cappuccino. I had a Dunkin coupon which the staff member looked at blankly. She then didn't know what to do with it and had to make a phone call to check and was advised they don't accept coupons. Why I asked because McDonalds do in T7 and Shake Shack clearly write "Not valid in airports". Because its privately owned. I tried explaining all Dunkin' are privately owned as they are franchises. Shame about the lack of staff training as she should have been briefed about coupons. Plus I'm trying to think which other terminal I was in, possibly T5 where they did accept coupons. read more

The Dunkin Donuts on Terminall 4 from gates B38-B55 had probably the worst service that I have seen at an establishment. There were first of all 4 people doing absolutely disregarding there customers. When I asked for my drink to be Iced, the employee gave me a nasty attitude and acted as if I was a complete imbecile. Only for her "manager" to respond that this drink is unable to be poured over ice...... it was tea. They all need to be retrained. All of them. read more
