First time at Dunkin and I'm very disappointed! I get it, it's airport coffee which may mean they're limited on items but it's the service that really made the experience awful. Ordered vanilla chai and French vanilla latte and they managed to ring it up wrong but I didn't notice till after... The lady, who's name I didn't get asked me for my receipt multiple times and another lady refused to make my drink. 15 minutes later, they take my receipt again and end up making it but it shouldn't have been a big deal in the first place. This airport Dunkin Donuts location had great coffee as, expected. However, service was lackluster which arguably can be expected in the airport, the line was extremely long which can also be expected in the airport but the shocker was waiting forever in line anticipating my order of a delectable breakfast sandwich and coffee only to learn the only breakfast items available are a short list of bagels. Many customers were disappointed by this but most, like me, ordered a bagel since there was no time to stand in the line for the coffee place right next door where people were pouring out with mouth watering breakfast sandwiches. I came here to grab a quick coffee in between my flight. This coffee shop is located inside another store so it was a bit out of place in my opinion but what can you do when you really need coffee right? There was a huge line all the way out the door so I wasn't sure if I will get to counter before my flight but the line kept moving pretty quick. I would say I got to the counter within few minutes so I placed my order and before I can pay for it, she handed me my coffee. Now that's what I call fast food place which has this fast service. I got my coffee and went to get me couple packs of sugar so I can taste my coffee better. I asked for like milk in my coffee that way I don't need the fatty cream but I can't get rid of sugar, at least not yet. My day will come when I will give up sugar for good (I guess when I die) :D read more

Dunkin For Delicious Donuts And Coffee A New York Icon. I'm a sucker for donuts period but particularly good donuts and Dunkin Donuts makes pretty good donuts for a chain. Every visit to New York I have to stop here since we are deprived on the West Coast. DD are not too greasy and I love that they have so many varieties especially during the Fall/Holiday Season. I always opt for the munchkins because I love to have a variety of flavor on my pallet although my true favorites are glazed and maple. I love the pumpkin, jelly filled, plain cake, glaze, powdered cake and the cinnamon cake. The coffee is pretty good too it can't be compared to a Starbucks or Peet's but nevertheless is darn good. I can't say I have ever had a bad cup. Most New Yorkers order it sweet with cream but I'm a black with no sugar no cream no room kind of gal so the flavor of the coffee is not masked. However, I'll give it an extra star for consistency of merchandise quality. & price. Where else can you get a non-candy bar snack for under a dollar? I placed an order for my emergency in-flight snack. After trying to give me someone else's order, the employees still managed to put 1 wrong donut in my bag & leave a huge gap at the top of my iced coffee. But, the brand is consistent. Of all the Dunkin Donuts experiences I have had in my life (and there have been many), this was probably the worst of all. I was at the airport for an early morning flight, and starving for breakfast. I literally went to sleep the night before dreaming about my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich I would be enjoying pre-flight, along with my medium iced hazelnut coffee. IMAGINE my shock, horror, and disdain when, after waiting in an unnecessarily long line of unattractive and misshapen tourists, I was abruptly told by a sullen cashier that this location DOES NOT SERVE breakfast sandwiches. Just bagels and donuts. I stared in silence before reluctantly ordering my coffee, which I was grossly overcharged for by at least 75 cents. Who in America in 2012 goes to Dunkin Donuts and orders a bagel or donut? That's not breakfast, that's snackfood! The Dunkin' Donuts in JFK Terminal 5 had decent donuts. Nothing to write home about, and the service was pretty snarky, but the donuts were decent. I got glazed and sprinkled donuts and they were a good snack. A lot of the issues with this place have already been covered in detail. They burnt my bagel and put milk in my coffee that I ordered black. Not surprised after reading the reviews here. This sad excuse for an establishment is only still in business because people have limited choices especially on a budget while traveling. If they had toasted the bagel without burning it and made my coffee to order the food would have been edible, I would have been satisfied, and I wouldn't have left a 1 star review. To anyone who manages this location or has any vested interest in seeing it succeed- at least do the bare minimum for your customers. Enough negative reviews and people will patronize this place less until it improves or gets replaced by something better. Worst service I've experienced. Two workers and o waited in line for over 15 minutes. Ordered a small oatmilk latte that I always get at every location. Of course being an airport it was gonna be expensive it was $6.57 but I didn't care because I just wanted my drink. Waited another 10 minutes before I got my drink. When I got it, it was way lighter in color than usual so I was already skeptical but I took a sip and it's as if they poured the entire bottle of simple syrup in the small cup. And oatmilk never turns your drink as light as mine was. I didn't even drink that sip I immediately spit it out into the trash and complained. When I said it wasn't oatmilk and that it was sweet when I wasn't even asked if I wanted sugar, and you aren't supposed to add sugar without asking, the worker just shrugged and turned away. This used to be the only thing open at jetblues old terminal 6 at 4 am. At 4am there would be a line of 16+ people. During the day there would be lines of 30+ people. The Dunkies on the baggage claim level of Terminal 4 is one of the most incompetently-staffed DDs that I have ever experienced. They got my very simple coffee order wrong twice, and when I later unwrapped my bagel I discovered that they had screwed that up as well. I would give them one star but I am being generous because there actually was a snack stand available in that horrible terminal leased by Jet Blue. Trying to find something relatively healthy and not yeasty, bready or overpriced? Good luck! I managed to get a yogurt for a few bucks and threw a lot of it away. I think I also bought a small container of nuts and an OJ. Didn't break the bank like their $7.00 sandwiches. Since my flight was delayed 3 hours (see Jet Blue yelp) I think I made a second trip to get a cup of coffee (which should have been provided complimentary by the airline!) The cup said Dunkin' Ds and DD's logo was everywhere but that coffee didn't taste like DDs...it was bitter and uneven. Mehhh for customer service. For people working in the travel/tourist industry, their personalities are very lack luster. Ask them what kind of donuts they have on sale. They are unsure and they say they don't know...they don't even try to assist in finding out...what a shame. It's a shame that the rude cashier is the first thing people arriving to New York get to experience. There's nothing like listening to the girl behind the counter yell at every customer, then at you, as you're coming off a long flight. She asks you what your coffee order is, but if you step out of line to tell her, you get yelled at to get back in line. So you're expected to yell your order over the 10 people waiting.
