I love that this Dunkin' Donuts has a drive through. They also have an app that you can order ahead with or scan when paying for points. Who doesn't love to get perks and rewards? Also, in this age of COVID, convenience and being able to pick up food without leaving my car is a huge bonus. Their donuts are delicious. I usually only order the blueberry munchkins. I like that the flavor is unique to Dunkin'. I'm also a fan of the seasonal pumpkin munchkins. The only problems I have are with any of their savory foods and coffee. On 3 different occasions I ordered the bagel bites, sausage/egg wake-up wrap, and one of their bagel thin breakfast sandwiches. All 3 different menu items on 3 different occasions taste of melted plastic. When I ordered the sausage/egg wrap, I started gagging because the smell of plastic was SO STRONG. Pumpkin lattes were watery and tasteless on 3 different occasions. As a result of the huge problems with savory food and coffee, I can only really come here to scratch the occasional itch for blueberry donuts. Awful, no customer service whatsoever Went through the drive thru ordered 2 ice coffees, 6 glazed donuts and a breakfast wrap I get home my daughter opens the bag and tells me there is a donut. We tried calling the location no answer so I end up driving back. Told the guy at the drive up what I had just ordered and that in the bag was a donut and not the breakfast wrap and he says ok we will make you another one...???? I said another one? I never even got the first one and he said yah well it's cold.. I get to the window and asked him how does that even happen? Don't you check the bag? He basically doesn't say anything. They're located right at the corner of the whole Kapolei Commons property next to the sleep store. You'll have to make a whole round of right turns to get here. Be sure to use the second right when going through the drive thru. This visit compared to the airport location went surprisingly fast for a Saturday 8am visit. All I wanted was munchkins and was completely sold for ten for only $1.99 that we got two orders of just an assortment. I love the cute little box. Christopher expected to get his bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a classic donut. I guess being distracted for getting two for only $5 he forgot to ask. My favorite thing? The hash browns. Stopped by here one afternoon after going to Target and got some donuts and coffee drinks. There's a drive-thru, but I wanted to go in since I didn't know what I wanted. I got a frozen chocolate drink and it was really sweet. I'm a chocolate lover, but this drink was so sweet that I couldn't even finish it. I got a glazed chocolate donut with cream filling and a chocolate cake donut. The cream filled donut was yummy. The cake donut was a little dry, but that was probably because it was late in the day. I've been coming to this location since it opened. I work in the same complex so it's very convenient. Never had any issues before. But my last 2 visits, my order has been messed up. 2 days ago I orders a small iced coffee with caramel and cream. What I received was the coconut caramel. I don't like coconut so my drink ended up in the trash. Today I ordered the same thing. What I received was iced coffee with cream no caramel. It's too bitter to drink so again, trashed. It sucks to pay $2.99 plus tax twice for something I've had to throw away. And I had to get to work so I i couldn't go back and say anything. Been to the kapolei location a few times and there was no line! The customer service here is awesome and the cashiers take the time to explain things to you. Especially point out the popular donuts and coffees. The price is reasonable. And honestly since i had Dunkins coffee, i don't really like Starbucks. Stopped very early on the way to town this Saturday.... as in 6am early. I was pleasantly surprised they were open! Got a coffee and some doughnuts... not impressed but they were fine. Not special. I'm used to my doughnuts being frosted by dipping them upside down in the glaze. These were frosted with a knife... odd, no difference in flavor, but odd. My latte with raspberry syrup was also not as expected. It wasn't sweet, despite adding the flavored syrup to it. No idea why...? It was also a little on the bitter side, and knowing DD is famous for good coffee, I don't know what went awry. However, 4 stars as service was quick and the staff were very nice! 11/16/17 5:38 am LOCATION: Kapolei Commons near Whole Foods. Sits at the intersection of Kapolei Parkway and Kalaeloa Blvd on the right hand side as you drive into Campbell Industrial Park. There are directions and special duty officers directing traffic as to how to get through the drive thru. They want you to drive all the way around the Whole Foods building to get to the drive through until they are done settling in. Haven't been to a Dunkin' Donuts in ages. Was surprised that they serve breakfast sandwiches and BAGELS. I bought a half dozen donuts and 1 small Americano and that set me back about $10. It was EMPTY at this time of the morning which was AWESOME!! I walked in and could take my time. Picked up a complimentary paper and was on my merry little way in 5 minutes. When driving out, you need to go down to Vitamin World in order to make that left back out on Kapolei Parkway. While it was smooth sailing for me this am, some of you KNOW how congested and problematic it can be when its crowded. I haven't been to a Dunkin in the U.S., but I had been to one in the U.K., so had an idea of what to expect, but the selection was bit more basic than I thought it would be: cake and yeast donuts, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry frosting, sprinkle selections, and donut holes. I got a french cruller and a coffee. The cruller had a good flavor, but wasn't particularly special. The coffee tasted a bit burnt but smoothed out. Waited patiently in the long line, got to screen and ordered our food and drinks, guy behind the speaker answered my questions about the chocolate donut options and I ordered a couple after his responses. He read back our order completely. Got to the window and the pink haired girl took a few minutes to say anything to us at all, eventually took my money and gave us two bags and two drinks and she said have a good day. One of the bags had what looked like a receipt stuck to it so I drove off. Then we realized we were missing 2 of the 4 donuts we ordered at the screen, but realized the "receipt" on the bag just had the two sandwiches on there. I promptly went into the store to let the manager know I didn't get my two donuts or a receipt. He proceeds to pull up the order screen and somehow the two chocolate donuts I ordered had disappeared, yet we paid for them originally ($26.12 total for 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks, & 4 donuts [2 of which were missing]) The manager asks for a receipt, I tell him I never got one. He kind of shrugs and says he can ring me up for the additional two. At this point I laugh and walk out. I've always had a great experience at this Dunkin' that was, until today. With the viral Halloween Munchkin' buckets finally out, I decided to snag one for my kids as an after school treat/surprise. Pulling up to the drive thru there was a decent sized line of cars waiting to order. Once I finally made it to the intercom I asked the employee working the drive thru if they had any more of the Munchkin buckets available and with a huge attitude she replied "we're sold out!" I then asked if they would be getting anymore in and again with an attitude she replied "no!". With nothing else said from this employee but those two responses our entire interaction I was feeling disappointed and a bit taken back at this point, so I kindly let her know that it was ok and that I wouldn't be purchasing anything at this time. As I waited for the few cars ahead of me to get their orders so I could get out of line, I was in complete shock when I saw an employee come out their back door and walk straight to her car with what had to be at least 7 empty Halloween buckets gets in her car and then drives off. And as if that wasn't enough, when I finally passed the drive thru window the employee standing at the window has the audacity to stare me down with the rudest look on her face as if she had some type of problem with me and then rolls her eyes, which I assume is the same person I spoke to through the intercom. My intentions was to go to down to earth but my tummy told me to take the right into Dunkin' Donuts drive thru. LOL What??? I just had too! LOL I orders a vanilla frosting with sprinkles, 2 glazed, 2 kreuller and one Boston for my kids and I. The kruellers are my go too. It's perfectly glazed all around and it's nice and yummy. I disliked the Boston. GAG. Everything was to sweet. The filling cream wasn't that tasty and to top it off the chocolate ganache frosting was tooooo sweet. I think it would be better off if the filling was cold. And sweetness of the chocolate wasn't to sweet. My husband stole the vanilla frosted with sprinkles. He said it was gross. I frequent this location pretty often. It was always a good to great experience: friendly employees, genuine smiles and exchanges. Actually built up a good rapport with some of these people. Walked in one day and realized that those people that did give great service were no longer there and overheard someone else inquire about the these employees, and they were told, "They don't work here anymore...". Fast forward to now, the experience when you walk into this place is a DRAG. The middle aged man who has been taking orders has such low energy vibes it's like you're telling your order to Frankenstein. After inquiring about one of their deals, he even went as low as rolling his eyes and looking away to the other petty workers who giggled to each other like little catholic school girls. I'm not sure if this is a manager or an owner or whatever their role in Dunkin Donuts may be, all I know is that this is customer service 101. You would think that they would give more thought into doing a good job at whatever they do. The facility was neat and clean, line was long however very fast service. This location is family-friendly bathrooms were clean and awesome baby changing station. However we were sad because they didn't have any of the Girl Scout coffee products and they were sold out Girl Scout donuts. We brought our Girl Scouts here after cookie sales to reward them at 3 PM with Girl Scout donuts. The car line was almost into the MAIN road by the time we left. Upon arriving to the lobby the lobby is closed. What is management doing here?
