Tried giving them another chance, the croissant tasted so bad I spit out a piece! It tasted freezer burnt!!!

    The place

Unfortunately, we should've read the reviews and how everybody rated this is such a horrible place for food. The worst part is that when the food sucks, you expect the service to be decent. The service was horrible. The women in there are nasty and rude and it is a disgusting place avoided at all cost find another one.

Here is the HALLOWEEN selection.... lame right?

It's Halloween. I wanted some cute decorated donuts for this morning and it was a freak show up in that place! There's no donuts at all to choose from! Where are the donuts Dunkin? No sprinkles, no cream filled... the Yelp reviews aren't lying so pay attention. The employees don't listen to you and start putting whatever donuts they please in your box. When you ask for ONE chocolate donut and they proceed to add THREE powdered sugar ones.... there is a problem! My photo even shows the powdered sugar on the chocolate ones from her lack of listening. THIS IS THE WORST DUNKIN IN AMERICA. Hands down. Please close your doors and allow Krispy Kreme to take your place.

Walk in. Ignored by the two "working" on Saturday at like 3:00 pm on September 26th (sounds like I'm already starting to be a "Karen,") but I promise....I'm NOT one of those people. It takes at least 2, maybe 3 minutes to even get a hello maple bars? No" is the answer. I look to the left of the guy and there's literally a maple glazed donut less than a foot from him. I order 2 donuts (apparently a lot to ask someone who works at this donut shop). I ask him about the maple glazed donut. He throws the donut in a bag...no wax paper. Get home, this is the maple. Thanks dude. Every single time I've ever gone here, it's the same rude poor service. Get it together Dunkin!

     the counter at a bakery

Service was good and employees were friendly but the building was absolutely disgusting! So many leaks in the ceiling, one tile looks very close to caving in from water. With all the money Dunkin makes they need to step up and fix this building. Only Dunkin' on the island and this is the condition they make the employees work in.

The service was quick and there was some seating outside with some sand so even though it is a few blocks inland there was still a relaxed, beach feel to the place. I got the coconut joy mini donuts and my boyfriend got the chocolate paradise ice cream. The mini donuts did get a little soggy from the toppings so I would maybe eat a little faster than I did (though I didn't take an unreasonable amount of time) or go for the ice cream. For Key West, they seemed reasonably priced and hit the spot for something sweet. If you're already in the area and looking for something sweet, I would stop here.

I think Rooster Treats is a fun change of pace from the more traditional storefronts lining Duval Street. Instead of a typical shop, it operates out of a permanent trailer. You order from a raised deck platform, then head down to enjoy your treat at one of the tables set up in a makeshift sandy beach area. The whole setup works surprisingly well. It gives you that relaxed, toes-in-the-sand feeling, almost like you're unwinding right by the water. It has a great vibe. We're not huge fans of soft serve, mainly because the flavors and textures can feel limited. Rooster Treats makes up for that with the generous amount of toppings you can add. I ordered the Chocolate Paradise, which came with chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, and Oreo crumbs. It was delicious, and the portion size was very good. Glad we checked it out before heading home.

I arrived around 7:30 a.m., and the place was already starting to get busy. Food They offer a very interesting assortment of donuts, including flavors you don't typically see elsewhere. Options like Blueberry Cheesecake, Brown Butter Hazelnut, and Cuban Coffee Cake stand out. I chose the Cuban Coffee Cake. It was essentially a spiced coffee cake shaped like a donut, topped with plenty of glaze and crumble. The portion was generous. It could easily feed two people, but I managed to finish the entire thing. For a beverage, I ordered a Mocha Latte. The flavor was very good, but it was served on the cool side. It was completely cold before I finished, and I ended up tossing the last portion. They only serve drinks in paper cups, not ceramic mugs. Although mugs were visible, I was told the health department does not allow them to use them. For me, coffee in a real mug always feels better than paper. Service I have mixed feelings about the service. The person taking my order seemed a bit on edge. When I asked about the mug situation, she appeared annoyed that I would even ask. Since it was my first visit, I asked about the most popular donut, and that also seemed to irritate her. I rephrased and asked for her personal favorite instead, which she answered more willingly. I noticed a few other staff interactions, and the overall tone of the crew felt tense. Not sure if that's typical or if it was just a busy morning. Atmosphere I took a small table inside to finish my coffee and donut. There are several small tables, best suited for two people. Toward the back of the dining area there were boxes and pallets visible. This isn't necessarily a place you visit for ambiance. Most people grabbed a box of donuts and left. Only a handful were dining inside. If you want a good donut with creative flavors, this place delivers. Just don't expect a relaxed coffee shop experience with welcoming, friendly staff.
