Husband decided to try it one more time and the service is the same, wait times are just as long, and staff is just as unorganized. There is a Dutch Bros right next door now! However, if you do not consider this review, you could be missing out on the exception to the rule. I am going to break this review down in to several sections. I ask that you understand a lot of consideration has gone into this review and will pull from years of experiences. ***BACKGROUND*** I grew up with Dunkin and was very excited to see them come to Kyle. Old, small town, Kyle getting a Dunkin, what's not to love. If I ever go back home (North) and see a Dunkin, I would still go. I do like Dunkin as a brand and I love their products. ***WHERE I'M AT NOW*** This Dunkin location has 100% ruined Dunkin for me and I will never go back there. Now, I know I just explained how I would still go and still like the brand, but I have my reservations. Will I go to the Kyle location? Never. Over my absolute dead body. I truly believe that this Dunkin location will fail. As more businesses come to the Kyle area the issues that this location has will make it nearly impossible to keep up and recover. ***PRODUCT AVAILABILITY*** To their own admission they don't offer what they advertise. Did you expect 31 Flavors? "We don't carry anything over 19 flavors, so what did you want?" When you think you are asking for something very plain, they are often out. They run out of things that you would think, "okay, you can't possibly not have just regular glazed donuts." Yup, their out. And not sold out, just out, didn't make them, didn't keep up with inventory, didn't get a shipment in, just all the time, out. So you can't rely on them to have a consistent product. Yes, as a consumer, I understand things are out at times, that's life. But this location takes that to another level. They are sometimes out and it sounds as if it is by choice. As if they are too lazy to put in the effort to make the product. That level of inconsistency and inconsideration is an issue that doesn't look like it is going away any time soon. Local facebook groups, almost every week post about Dunking being out of X and "they don't know if they will have it again and they don't know when they will get more." ***QUALITY*** They are very inconsistent with their quality. Let's take an iced coffee. Simple enough. One (1) day you will get it and it will be black and loaded with ice. Great. Fantastic. Then literal next day you can go and it will be beige with hardly any ice. And when you ask to remake it, they fight you on it. Look, if I ask for a glazed donut and you hand me a powdered donut, I know what I'm talking about. We have all went there and had cold potatoes, hardly cooked breakfast sandwiches, and stale donuts. There is zero pride in the products they put out. Thier drip taste bitter, their ice melts as they hand it to you, and their scoops are inconsistent. This hasn't been a few weeks of bad service. This has been since they opened. I have other emails from them apologizing for their lack of quality and blamed it on Management. Management and their team has changed so much over the years that I don't think they have ever found the right person to run the operation. They change products and don't tell you. ***SERVICE*** You have to consider that they offered less than stellar service, before COVID, during COVID, and after COVID. Be intellectually honest with yourself and just know that when you have employees with attitude problems, staring problems, and just wander around, its going to result in bad service. Example: Dutch Bros is right next store and they are the complete opposite. At 5AM they are happy to see you, LIGHTS ON, and talk to you. Dunkin has their lights off, they act mad that you showed up, and that's not good. If you want people willing to talk to you, has product, and is ready to brighten your day, go to Dutch Brothers. Would absolutely give a negative star rating if it was possible. Recently placed an online order for a Charli cold foam and arrived 20 minutes later. Not only was the order not ready, but upon entering, there was no acknowledgement whatsoever from the staff. Think of that scene from the Gremlins where they take over the bar, and there's chaos, pure chaos, for no good reason. Granted, it would be understandable if it were during rush hour (it was not). The only thing that was consistent though, was one person belittling and not contributing to the entire operation. I believe I heard the name "Payton" or "Clayton," when one of the belittled coworkers asked, "Payton please, if you could stop being so mean and just help?" And that request being met with an eye roll and scoff followed by something something "i don't have to Im the lead." Something along those lines. When I finally did get my order, it was still wrong, but I did not even try to get it corrected out of fear of being belittled by Payton as well. 1 star is a very generous rating, I wish I could give this a negative star rating. First off I understand big orders take longer, so I wasn't in a rush to get my online order this morning. When I received my $40 order everything "seemed" great, but upon further inspection both of my bacon, egg & cheese croissants were filled with spoiled green eggs. I was utterly disgusted and inspected my plain egg and cheese English muffin sandwiches, to my surprise they were fine. So I can only assume I was given eggs from yesterday, or they were left out... I would have appreciated being told there were no fresh eggs, I would have gladly canceled them from my order. But no Dunkin' is money hungry and gave me inedible food. Terrible. Every time I go out of my way to drive to Dunkin' this happens to be the one. Every time I pull into the drive thru to order a couple doughnuts they tell me they're sold out. I thought, oh okay mere coincidence. This last time, I was pissed. No empathy, no explanation, just a "yea we're sold out of doughnuts for the night."
