This location has so many employees but they always drag. What's so hard about serving coffee when all they have to do is pour it into a cup. I usually stop in here every morning for my cup of joe but it takes them about 15 minutes. I can hear all the employees chitchat. I usually have to interrupt them to see if my coffee is ready. They give me the worst look. I mean I'm sorry I interrupted your so important conversation but people usually run in for a cup of joe so they can head out. I'll still visit this location as it's right next to my job, but the managers really have to crack down on the employees here. Maybe care a little more about customer service. P.s make sure you use the drive thru as that usually moves faster then the counter. read more

The staff is not rude, but not friendly either. I have only gone through the drive through, so I cannot comment on the cleanliness on the inside. I have given this place a few chances as it's conveniently on the way to the highway. They are incapable of ever getting my order right. I usually just get coffee, which is consistently bad (they always forget the sugar or the pumpkin flavor), but I can deal with that. But what I CAN'T deal with is getting the wrong donut more than once for my picky eater and hearing him cry all the friggin way to Chicago! Like I said, I have given them a few chances. I have no gripes with this actual store, except that there are times early on a Saturday or Sunday morning they only have one person working. My complaint is with the customer service dept. Have been trying to get the password on my DD acct reset since the beginning of August '21. Still cannot get it resolved. Spoken to Customer service (located in the Dominican Republic) who cannot help. They send messages to their Priority support which never returns the call. I have only had one person (in Loyalty Support) who actually has taken the time to call me back a few times with updates, but I cannot get in touch with her directly to return her call. I didn't have time to make myself breakfast this morning so I decided to run through this DD to grab something to eat on my way to work. I ordered a medium coffee and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Somehow that translated to a large coffee and a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. Since I only was able to see one error at the time (the large coffee instead of the medium coffee), the woman who gave me my order offered to give me a free donut. Fast forward to when I get to work when I can finally have some breakfast to find yet another error. I called them and they told me that nobody was going to be available to give me my money back by the time I got off of work. I see through the comments here that this happens frequently. I now know it is necessary to hold up the line to open up all my food making sure everything is correct before pulling away from the window. Not good business. read more

I read the first review and had to try out the new spot, I choose the drive threw at 8pm. Girl was nice and did ask what free doughnut I wanted with my drink. It being 8pm on a sun the doughnut was horribly stale and hard but my drink was made great. I usually get mocha latte, and sometimes I get them it's pure chocolate or water down chocolate milk. Sad really- I used to love DD. This location shows no love for their product or customers. They don't have a lot of variety and the drive-thru employee didn't know what they had. She seemed surprised that I asked what donuts they still had left. It's not like they have a donut menu. The best thing to do in the drive-thru is just make up some donut flavors and hope they have them. They couldn't have cared if I was there or not. It's too bad because this DD is in a good location and has a swanky building adding to its appeal. I prefer the new location at the I94 Lake Forest Oasis or some of the others North and nearby. read more

We went to buy ice cream and there were no spoons! What made it worse was the staff said they had been out of spoons for a while and that the manager didn't do anything about it. So we had to eat our ice cream with plastic knives. Terrible experience! Will not be back. read more

I legit have given this place multiple opportunities to recover from each mistake they I have made...today is my LAST day going there! They have gotten my order wrong more times then right. Today I ordered a GREEN TEA and I just realized I received a black coffee. I always go to Dunkin' Donuts for a Saturday morning donut and recently they have been giving horrible service. Just this morning I went and they only had 13 donuts left. Was so excited they finally put a DD near where I live. I always have random cravings for this and it was annoying having to drive either all the way to Waukegan or Vernon Hills. However, this place NEVER has any flavors. They either run out fast or just don't stock them. And I'm leaning more towards the second because every time I've been there, they never have the most popular flavors. The service here is also horrible. The people always seem to have an attitude. We've gone through the drive thru many times and it's been different people each time, but every single person has been snappy or they sound like they're stoned. Glad that I can get donuts here sometimes (when they finally have the flavors) but other than that, this is a pretty crappy location. read more

We just went to Dunkin Donuts and here is our review. The floors were pretty dirty, and there was someone's garbage left on one of the tables. We were surprised that the restaurant wasn't really clean, because it was around 4:45 pm and me and my fiance were 2 of the 3 customers there (was not busy at all). The cashier lacked personality. I had to ask her about the free donut with any purchase - she apparently was not going to tell us about that. She confirmed that that was the deal. My fiance and I got two drinks and paid. My fiance saw the amount right after swiping his card, and asked if only one of the two donuts was free, and she said "yeah, it's one donut per purchase." I said "oh, ok. I wish we would have known that, we could have bought our drinks separately then so we could each have a free donut." She just shrugged, like it wasn't her problem. Personally, I don't care about a lot of facial piercings and tattoos on the neck or face, but it may turn some customers off. I would have thought that, on the opening day in a small community, the manager would be there, cheerful and welcoming neighbors in. We were excited to welcome THEM in. We will go back, because it is two blocks away and the food and drinks are great (plus I love the sun streaming through the windows), but hopefully there will be improvements in both the cleanliness and the staff. read more

Waited at the first window for 4 minutes without a hello or anything, waited at the second window for 10 minutes and didn't get a hello or any acknowledgement at the window. I was ignored. After almost 15 minutes I got the food and they didn't cut the sandwich in half after I asked multiple times. Will never be back at this location. I had to go through the drive-through at 6PM, even though the store is supposedly open until 10PM, then had to drive around TWICE to get anyone's attention inside. We were very excited that a DD was opening in our neighborhood since we don't like Starbucks even though it's closer. However, we have been greatly disappointed by the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The place was dirty the first week it opened; garbage on the floor and tables and there was coffee spilled on the counter where you pay even though it wasn't busy. I had to ask the girl behind the counter for a rag to wipe it off so I could put my purse down to pay as she looked right at the mess and ignored it.. As another reviewer stated, we had to ask for a free donut as advertised and even though it was the grand opening, there was virtually no customer service. Most of the staff can barely speak English, have a hard time understanding orders at the drive through and they are not friendly. We have gone back multiple times because we love their coffee but EVERY order we have received has been wrong. This is getting really frustrating and even though Starbucks is over-priced and there is no place to park at the Lake Bluff store, the staff are so much better- trained and customer friendly. Let me start by saying a love dunkin donuts! However I absolutely hate going to this drive thru!! Every time I go they always mess my order up even after I repeat it back to them! Normally I don't ever complain but today is the last time! I go today because I wanted to try there new bacon croissant sandwich, so i decided to get one of those for myself and a regular one for myself as well and 2 sausage for my husband since our kids love to steal ours lol! Anyways with those I order the two coffees that come with the meal a black coffee with extra sugar and a turbo shot for my husband and a French vanilla coffee with extra sugar and French vanilla cream I get the med bc that's to much coffee for me and the large for Hubby! Well I bring it back I have 3 sandwiches instead of 4 and then the coffee(which I never thought could be so difficult to make) my husband grabs the large and gets French vanilla coffee with no sugar and cream no idea about the turbo shot that I paid for and I myself get the med black! So they messed up the size have no sugar no French vanilla cream! I just don't understand how it's so hard to get an order right for coffee especially i guess I'll drive the extra few miles for the other dunkin to actually get the order I want! read more
