I ordered a turkey sausage with cheddar cheese and eggs on a pretzel bagel. Which sounds so basic, but it was delicious. I also added a hash brown, which was my first time having it. The service was awesome, the server was able to help me pick a sandwich, and she also gave me her suggestion. The sandwich was savory and salty. The hash browns gave me cheesy potato vibes. We have visited this location several times for pickup orders, placed online. Usually things go fine but this time was not great. We tried to place the order online ahead of time like we usually do for a scheduled pickup. However the app placed the order to be ready as soon as possible, and we raced to go get it. We are almost an hour away so the food and coffee drinks sat getting cold for an hour. We tried to call the location multiple times but no one picked up. We tried to update the order online but there was no record of the order. No record in the app, in my account, and no confirmation email. When we got there the employees did not care that no one had answered the phone (they just shrugged) and that the food had been just sitting there for presumably an hour. No one seemed phased we had no receipt or proof of purchase. Unfortunately we will try not to return. read more

Other missing element is the flavor. What happened to the flavor- gone with COVID?' Bagels here are now just a round circle of bread with a hole in the middle. These are no longer bagels! They are just not, it is just bread. I wanted to get coffee to go. There are not any seating options so everything is carry out. For more than 3 dollars, I got an empty cup. When I got rung up, the first thing on the device to pay was the amount of tip I would leave. Why would I tip for an empty cup? After paying for the cup, I was directed to a counter for self-serve coffee, creamer and sweeteners. The lids for the paper cup didn't fit. No one bothered to make sure lids fit the cups. Hmmmm the smell of fresh bagels! The boyfriend and I used to stop by during Sunday mornings for a bagel sandwich. Our favorite is the asiago bagel. It has always been deliciously made without fail. The employees who work there are pretty friendly as well. Couple months ago they started advertising a new bagel called "asiago bagel dog" Looked super yummy but i thought the price was kinda pricey. I finally got a chance to stop by the store and thought i would order one, they were so small! For the price, i decided to skip it and stick with a bakers dozen. I've been getting the bakers dozen for a few months now. (you can find $3 OFF coupons in the mail) Their bagels are so much better than grocery store brought ones, in my opinion. I usually ask for a few freezer bags so i can stick bags full of bagels in my freezer. Anyways, my number one bagel pick would be Asiago. They dont skimp on the cheese and when toasted it's deliciously cheesy. Their everything, poppyseed and cinnamon raisin is good as well. This location is a joke. The service is fast, but ignorant. The food just doesn't taste good here for some reason, and it's ridiculous that all their tables say "closed" and have the chairs on them. No indoor dinning? Why? In my opinion, it's laziness of the employees. I was there with my friend and there were three employees all very nice, but all had nothing to do. Just sat on their phones. They've gotten the message and improved customer service over the past few months. It's no matter, really, because I love their green chili specialty bagels with the nova lox, cream cheese, tomato, capers and onions. Sinfully delicious and a great value. I'm back often. I also like the cinnamon walnut strudel. Since Caribou closed next door, I'm trying their coffee and enjoying it pretty well. The bagels are absolutely delicious and fresh. Look for special coupons or in-store deals to get a bakers dozen bagels and 2 shmears for about $10. read more

This Einstein Bros was very dirty. The ground was gross, the tables were gross, even the little containers they keep the forks in were gross. Ordering took a good 15 minutes, staff had a lot of difficulty with the cash register, and they were out of fruit and mac n cheese and at least 6 different types of bagels. This was my first time visiting an Einstein Bros... I ordered take out but planned to eat inside, but ended up leaving to eat at home because I just felt gross sitting in there. read more

The employees that put together the food for catering early in the morning are fantastic. Everything is ready and warm at 6:30am for 40-50ppl. That is impressive and why I'm giving any stars. The lack of stars is more for the chain, corporate. They have a rewards program for those that order individual items but not for those that spend over $1300 in 3 months?! Nothing? Nada? That's not right. They're is no way to scan your visit if you do catering. There is a corporate person that calls as a follow up but never returns my call or email when I shared my suggestion and concern. Loss of another star. I do thousands of dollars worth of catering each month and I get treated better for my loyalty from other chains. Starbucks for example can handle 50 drinks and give me perks. If you're local, and/or frequent this place, you know to stand on their long line on the right side of the counter, even though there are two cash registers to the lines left. I waited for someone to finish on register one and I was ready to order. I was reprimanded by the cashier and told that I wasn't next. "You need to go over there (point untying to the line). I thought I was lucky being the second one on line to order. I was on the wrong line. How is someone to know??? In addition, i had to ask for a new cup because the cashier's finger was in the cup when she handed to me. It's bad enough that the food preparers use their gloves to protect their hands (did you ever notice that they touch EVERYTHING while preparing your bagel!?). I've been coming to this shop for years. It's just okay, not the best. It is good for a "quick" bagel and coffee when you're trying to get to work or a morning fix. I went here 2 times this week. Both times, the screen froze on the person taking my order and they had to ask me multiple times what I wanted (all I ordered was 2 bagels with cream cheese and a iced chai tea). The bagels were good and toasted the way I like them. The chai tea, I asked for light ice and they filled the cup all the way to the top with ice and there was a little liquid in there. For the same price at Starbucks ($4+) they actually do it right. Never again at Einstein for me. Oh well, I guess I might be just waiting at Starbucks next time. read more

Just came here for the first time and I'll definitely be coming back! Didn't know there were so many kinds of "Shmear" available and an equal variety of Bagels too. Had the pleasure of trying the Asiago cheese bagel today with plain shmear and it was excellent. Got the iced pumpkin latte to top it all off and it tasted great too. Another thing that surprised me here was the employees! They are very friendly.. and even bring the food/drinks out to you personally when they are done. Didn't expect that from a smaller place like this, but it was nice. They have free wifi also so it might not be a bad idea to come study here as well while enjoying their food/drinks! read more

I went to this location because our dog needed to get a check-up at the vet in Lindenhurst (we adopted her from that area). So, after the looooong drive here from the city, we needed some coffee. We saw Einstein's and stopped for a quick bite. Their bagels are awesome. Chewy and not too dense. He had a cinnamon bagel with butter, and I had the asiago with veggie cream cheese. They had a nice selection of bagels to choose from, both savory and sweet. Plus they had different flavors of cream cheese. We were a little taken aback by how friendly people are up there. In a good way, of course. And people stopped to pet our dog, which was really sweet. read more

As much as I enjoy my breakfast food. Every single time I come here the service is amazingly slow. I had 2 guests in front of me. One worker ringing and making orders, one slowly sweeping, and a girl who just clocked in. Yet only the one guy worked at the pace of a tortoise. It took 20 mins to get each of the guest in front of me a sandwich. And another 15 to get my bagels that I did not want warmed up or sliced. I just wanted them in the bag so I could leave!! However their bagel sandwiches and stuff are great, too. Awesome place for a light, cheap breakfast. We went on a Sunday around 11:30 am. They were out of multiple types of bagels, so we had to substitute for our sandwiches. No big deal things happen. Then we paid and waited. Waited and waited. People behind us kept getting their food and leaving when we only had 2 sandwiches and 2 coffee shakes. We got our food but not our drinks. We watched the girl making drinks just pick up and put down cups for about 20 minutes. Our food was cold before they even made our drinks. When they were making drinks it was for orders that had been placed much later than ours and they kept putting off our drinks. One of the two coffees didn't even have coffee In it but it wasn't worth the time to wait 20 more minutes for another one. The sandwiches were alright but nothing special although they had to be reheated due to the wait. Not coming back to this location again. Despite seeing us standing waiting 20+ minutes the staff just ignored and pretended everything was fine. No apologies for delays. read more
