Great corner coffee shop. Enjoyed the coffee and the atmosphere in the cafe. Music wasn't too loud. The paintings on the walls are whimsical and funny to look at. The was comfortable to sit and relax here too. It has a homey feeling. Service was excellent. Very friendly staff here. Will be back.

Such a beautiful coffee shop right in the heart of downtown Libertyville. Perfect place to grab a cup of coffee and then walk across to the park. Huge selection of beverages, pastries, and food. There is also a large seating area on the back half of the store - great for remote working, meetings, or a catch up with friends. Street parking available or, a small lot behind the building in between Conscious Cup & Mickey Finns for quick runs in and out.

Spacious, bright, clean and friendly coffee shop. Got a mocha and a nitro cold brew here and had noting to complain! They are a roaster so offer some great beans to purchase as well.

Cute spot. I enjoyed my beverage from here! Service was kind and pretty quick. Definitely busy, lots of people hanging around and working at the tables.

Was passing through the Libertyville area and had to stop at one of my favorite coffee shops! While the shop always tends to be busy, staff is smiling and turned orders around quickly. They have a diverse menu of coffees and teas as well as breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, and bakery items. The Libertyville location also had quite a large seating area if you wanted to stay a while and enjoy your treats! This trip, we got the Spiced Chai Latte (hot) and Sweet Honey Bee (iced). The Chai has a delicious blend of spices that makes it unique to others in the area. It is less sweet though if that is your preference. The Sweet Honey Bee is the perfect lavender/honey latte. They use local lavender and honey to amplify the flavor. For food, we split the Ube Muffin and Spinach/Cheddar/Bacon Scone. The scone was more of a biscuit as it wasn't too hard. The Ube Muffin was by far our favorite: fluffy, full of flavor, and a nice crunch on top. Be sure to stop by Conscious Cup if ever in the area; you won't be disappointed!

I came in here for the first time yesterday. The staff was incredibly nice and quick. They have a very large seating area, it was later in the day, so it was pretty full. But I was still able to find a seat . Extra bonus: I got the cutest latte art of a little bear on my vanilla latte.

This place's prices are absolutely outrageous. Almost $9 for a large cup of coffee. They also don't make it very hot so you have about 10 minutes before it's cold as ice. I didn't particularly find the drink anything special either. the worst part is that this place is constantly a zoo. Nowhere to sit, ever. Very minimal outlets that reach the tables to do any work or study. Hansa down the street is 10x better. I would pass on visiting this place. update: owner doesn't understand what synonyms are. almost everyone on earth uses latte and coffee interchangeably. only 80 year olds order drip coffee & they're definitely not on yelp.

Great choice for locally owned coffee in Libertyville. It's not only good tasting stuff, but they're ethical as well. Conscious Cup has a few locations in the suburbs, and this one may look small but has enough room to be honest. Prices are pretty good for locally owned. There's also some baked items, oatmeal bars, and that kind of stuff. A pretty good favorite of mine when I come around here. It has a few other locations in the northwest suburbs. This one is in the middle of downtown close to other things. It's about $5 for a coffee. They have a few non dairy milks. As any good coffee place needs to have. The food is pretty limited. It's about $3 for things like croissants. They also have Taos Baked Bars which are great for those in a hurry. Can get pretty busy in the morning, especially. It also has a few breakfast sandwiches to choose from. These often aren't available though, but one of these is a tofu scramble good for vegans and vegetarians.

Conscious Cup has a motto of "Meet Meditate Relax Enjoy" and they definitely execute it to the MAX. This coffee shop has creative drink combinations, a real cool esthetic artwork and furniture, and fun not-to-crazy soft music in the background. It's pretty spot on for all that the motto says. When it comes to the drinks, they seem to have high quality ingredients judging on what the barista was telling us. The latte I had speaks to it too!! Pretty yummy mocha. I'm excited to try some of their unique creations next time I make the trip to Libertyville!

    Hazelnut Latte and Salmon King

Modern coffee shop with plenty of seating. There's even a large couch where you can relax. I really enjoyed the hazelnut latte which had the salted hazelnut syrup. The syrup add a nice balance of salty and sweet. The salmon king on English muffin was delicious. The micro green is a nice twisted addition to a classic and traditional lox. Cashier was friendly and got my order in. I got my latte pretty quickly and a few mins later my salmon king. Definitely would come again to enjoy the scenery downtown Libertyville and excellent coffee & food.

Cozy coffee spot in Libertyville! The coffee is a little overpriced for what it is. I've been here a couple times and I always find that the flavor syrups taste a little off in my lattes. Maybe it's the coffee itself or maybe it's just me. The pastries and bagels, on the other hand, never miss! This popular spot downtown is almost always busy! Drink and food pick up can get hectic but the staff makes sure that everyone gets the drink they ordered. Love the ambiance here! They have a nicely curated art collection that decorates the space and comfortable furniture. It's a great spot to study or just hang out! Would recommend!

    Short bread cookie

First off, this places pastries and cookies are fantastic. They are super fresh and delicious. Second, I love coffee, and this latte was AMAZING. Smooth, flavorful, and simple. The kids loved the cookie they finished it faster than I finished my coffee. They also made a small chocolate milk for them, in a cup they wouldn't spill. It was amazing. Amazing service, environment, and goodies. Such a cute little shop.

Parking is fairly plentiful, though the entire shopping center is so busy you might not be able to park super close to the restaurant during normal meal hours. The decor is nice, with appropriate themes for a breakfast restaurant and the seating is comfortable. Service is not super fast, but not too slow for a spot that is this busy. The food is really the star here, in terms of the items offered and in the quality of ingredients, good textures, and design of the dishes. I was very pleased that every dish I tried was minimally very good, and flavorful. The burritofull morning sounds like a standard breakfast burrito, but the flat iron steak was spiced to perfection and tender. The mix of chorizo, roasted peppers, chipotle crema, and salsa verde were surprisingly not too salty and really helped to enhance the flavor of the steak. The crispy hash browns, onions, and chihuahua cheese helped to round out the remainder of this dish with some carbs and a bit of fat, resulting in a very enjoyable dish with nice crispy potatoes on the side. The chicken fried chicken skillet mixed a lot of flavorful elements without being too salty. The golden fried chicken is tender inside, with almost a crispy tempura style batter and is mixed with honey smoked bacon, sausage, and griddled country ham. The bell peppers, and onion add a nice sweetness and extra aroma to the dish. This is topped off with a fairly light sausage gravy, cheddar, and jack cheeses. The potatoes matched well with the gravy, but also helped to absorb some of the fat from the meats. The overall combination was delicious and something I'd definitely order again. The banoffee pie pancakes were some of the best pancakes I've had in the last year. Light and super fluffy is not an understatement. Topped with bananas and lots of chocolate chips and chocolate curls, this is intense without being overly sweet or indulgent. The toffee sauce lightly blends in with the other ingredients and the graham cracker crumbles add a nice, almost banana pie feel to the dish. Highly recommended as a very balanced and delicious option. The corned beef hash and eggs may have been one of the best dishes to show off pure ingredient quality. This is house-made corned beef that is extremely tender and not too salty. A simple mix of green peppers, red peppers, and onions really allow the meat quality to shine without distraction, with crispy potatoes to add a bit of starch to the dish. The tres leches french toast was masterfully done, eggy, thick, with just the right level of firmness. The coconut flakes were an amazing combination with the milks, and cinnamon whipped cream, hazelnut syrup, and coconut cream elevated the flavors without making the entire dish too sweet. My only comment is that compared to other items on the menu, the serving of this felt a bit small for the price. The lil'bit of chicken fried is not your average chicken sandwich. This is quality throughout the entire dish from the buttered brioche down to the perfectly cooked chicken. The biggest surprise for me is the pickles, which have the perfect texture and level of acid. This goes great with the sweet potato fries which are lightly crisp and quite flavorful. Overall, this place gets busy and the prices are a bit higher than other competitors in the area. But the quality of the cooking here makes it worth the wait.

First off, they give you a free biscuit on Tuesdays, so leave room for that. I ordered the griddled ham and cheese crepe, and it's one of the most delicious breakfast items I think I've ever had. The ham is a tiny bit sweet, which balances out the richness of the Gruyère and hollandaise nicely. It's also huge-two giant crepes as big as my head! I finished one and took the other one home-it heated up really nicely. I also ordered the apple/gouda chicken sausage. The flavor was good, though a tiny bit on the dry side (which tends to happen with chicken sausage). I ordered the cookie butter latte as well, delicious and not too sweet. Service was good, even though they were pretty busy when they were there. Prices are good too, especially for how much food you get. One note: they don't take reservations, so be prepared for a wait, especially on the weekends.

When you pull up to the plaza you would think anything of the restaurant but when you go inside it's a fun colorful experience. When we were seated we were brought waters and menus. We took some time to look at the menus but ultimately took our server's suggestions on drinks. I ended up having a virgin Rose Colored Glasses drink and absolutely loved it. The drinks were large and I felt they were worth the price. My husband got an old fashioned. To start we got the cheese curds, and when I tell you these cheese curds still live rent free in my mind I kid you not. They were so good, the cheese was battered in a tempura batter with a truffle cream sauce and it made for such an incredible dish! For our entrees we got the pork chop with the brown butter sauces and bavette with a red wine reduction. The pork chop was great with the brown butter you just gotta make sure you mix it up, and the red wine was a bit too salty for me but it was okay because I ended up loving the steak by itself! For our sides we got the grilled zucchini under the snacks option instead of the sides option because I wanted all the fixings. It was a great choice! The fixings really made and I could eat a plate of that and just be happy (with the cheese curds of course). The wiped potatoes were great as well. Now I was going to pass on dessert because I was SO full already, but twist my arm when you tell me the cookie dough ice cream is a must try. It had real cookie dough chunks on top and bottle and the vanilla ice cream was not boring vanilla, I ate almost half of that bowl and couldn't stop. The chocolate chip cookie dough was house made and it was the perfect blend of sweet and salty that tied the whole ice cream bowl together. Can't recommend that enough as well. All in all, we had a great experience! It was so fun to see so many regulars and so many new folks who came in to dine at the same time as us and we all peeked to see who ordered what before we ordered and got some great recs as you can see! Can't wait to come back to enjoy my favorites and more!

Started with the bread and crabcakes and the bread was amazing and definitely fresh but the crabcakes needed more crab and flavor. Basically everything needed more flavor. We also ordered a bottle of wine which our server struggled with and never came over to refill the glasses. Then the entree's; my husband's bolognese was bland and desperately needed at least salt and pepper. Then the real problem was my steak which was supposed to be medium came out well done and then classically when it was recooked came out rare or medium rare if you are being generous. Then the waitress said she would check back and she didn't so I had to get salt myself from the server station which is kinda ridiculous especially when paying $54 for a steak that already has no seasoning which is why they offer free sauces which makes a lot of sense now. When she finally did come back I said it was under but not waiting for it to be overcooked again so reheating it at home with the cold side of mushrooms I ordered WITH my steak. I did talk to the manager after and he was not really helpful or sympathetic and I was really talking to him so in my review I could say well at least management cares but that is not the case here. I gave 2 stars because their drinks are good and the ambiance is nice and the hostess was super friendly and was the star employee after our visit. Also we paid for everything even the cold mushrooms and over/under cooked steak! At minimum also remake my mushrooms or comp them. Would I eat here again hopefully not but it is locationally desirable for me and my in-laws and have lots of GF options so might have to and if I do hopefully they will have made things better.

Came on a Thursday after lunch and it wasn't too busy. Ordered the Tocilog - which is sweet pork with a side of garlic fried rice, and an egg cooked any way you like. Also came with a side of noodles (pancit). Since I was here, decided to order some calamansi wings to go. And of course an ube milk tea. I really enjoyed my meal. The Tocino was a little different from what I'm used to. I'm used to a slab of pork pan fried with the fat fried to a slight crunch lol. I'm also used to tocino being red in color. I guess the tocino here is a little more leaner and no artificial colors - which works for me as I'm kinda allergic to red dye. But it tasted good, very flavorful. Loved the garlic rice as well. Pancit noodles were okay - could have used a little more seasoning but I could dig it Calamansi wings were low key fire. The crisp of the wings were perfection and the meat was not tough - still nice and juicy. I would get these again.
