I've read other reviews for this Dunkin' and was not sure why there were so many negative ones. I have been to this Dunkin' so many times I have lost count. The staff are always friendly and get my order out quickly in the mornings or afternoons! I order French vanilla iced coffees with cream and sugar and they are always good. I also order the wake up wraps with turkey sausage and egg which always come out fresh and warm. They also have other breakfast options to choose, from more coffee/drinks, and plenty of doughnuts. My dad and I go to this Dunkin' together very often. It wouldn't be a stretch to say almost every day. The service is completely unpredictable. The staff is usually nice, but the drinks are never the same drink you ordered last time. My biggest complaint is the iced Matcha Latte. The photo below is before I even put the straw in. Paying six dollars for barely half of a drink is ridiculous, and you can't send it back! They'll make it the exact same way, even if you specify you don't want it frothed. Now, I understand that matcha powder can be a pain to stir. But I *promise* customers would prefer matcha powder settled at the bottom of their drink to whatever the heck this is. Always burnt bagels, smaller than they used to be and never get the order right. Light and sweet hot coffee strong as ever. Might as well go to McDonald's who I hate. Service is pretty speedy especially when you use their mobile order app. However, XL hot drinks such as hot chocolate do not get filled up even with whipped cream. The last 5 times I got XL instead of just a large and the XL has been disappointing. I thought maybe it was because I asked for whipped cream, but then I ordered it without whip just to be disappointed by how little they filled the cup. Hence the 4* instead of 5. read more

Went to this dunkin the other day and usually don't take the time to write a review but this was terrible. I ordered a Matcha Latte, Bagel, and hashbrowns. My bagel was so burnt it was not edible, my matcha had black chunks within the drink that looked like coffee grounds, the only thing that was edible was the hashbrowns. Terrible experience. I just went to the Dunkin in Leland NC. I went through the drive thru and asked if they still did the free birthday coffee or donut that I was going to add to my large order. The employee very rudely replies " NO" , I say "oh ok, when did that end, I use to always get it through the app" I get silence so I respond "hello" thinking maybe she didn't hear me and the employee responds "what! Are you going to Order or not!" I told her no and proceeded to park and go inside to ask for the manager. She came up and was even more rude! She told me they were busy and didn't have time to answer my questions, as if that's an excuse to a paying guest! I told her it was extremely unprofessional and rude and she told me there was nothing she could do, I asked if that's how they treat everyone and she shrugged her shoulders. I've worked in hospitality long enough to know that was horrible management not only for her actions but for also allowing their staff to speak that way and think it's ok. read more

Iced coffee is always watery and cold brew is nothing to be desired, that also tastes like water even though the Leland location has it on tap. The cup has measurements on it and there are clear instructions on what to use in each standard drink size as far as creamers and sweeteners and they still can't get that right. Every Dunkin in the area is better than this location. read more

It's truly getting worse by the 2nd period slow can't get orders out making people wait unnecessarily it's getting a bit ridiculous. The food is still good the drinks are still worth it in my opinion but my Lord can we not move people up so that we who don't order much can get our stuff? This location compared to others is pretty bougie. I go to this location when I'm visiting NC because it's close to where I stay. Their donut selection is good and they've so far always gotten my drink order correct. They are always well staffed. The drive thru is also pretty convenient. My only complaint though, and it's a big one for me, is they'll close 15-20 minutes before their listed close time. I went one night at 7:40-7:45pm, tried going through the drive thru, and it wasn't open. As I was driving around the building however, there was another car at the window getting their order. I then parked and tried going inside, but their doors were locked and they blatantly ignored me. It was rude and frustrating... Especially after I made a special trip just to go there, thinking I had more than enough time to get my drink...While I understand that it's the end of the night and everyone wants to leave, there's a set closing time for a reason. LOVE this location. No matter what day or time I've been in I've had a good experience as the baristas are always attentive and efficient. The lobby and condiment area are kept clean and stocked as well as the line itself and baked goods area. Overall the atmosphere makes it a great place to sit and have your coffee or get some work done. Really appreciate all the work you guys do! read more

Very consistent and good dunkin, drinks and food always right. Only complaint is that the male manager is rude and extremely creepy. I've seen him talk down to staff and make inappropriate remarks to different employees. My business will have to go elsewhere. read more

I was in drive thru waiting 5 mins for the store to be open among the other 8 people behind me . We were told by Kayla to get out of the drive thru. we used to love Dunkin, and would never go to Starbucks. this place is horrible! the coffee has 1/3 foam. when you go out to your car, you see the cup is only 2/3 full. the staff is totally untrained. This is the worst DD that I have ever been to. Don't go there it's a waste of time and money. The first time (last year) I went to the drive-thru for a large hot coffee with cream. I got a lukewarm coffee, I parked and went into the store because the drive-thru guy refuses to acknowledge me at the window, I tell the Manager that I received warm coffee, she said that she likes the coffee cold herself. She made me a new coffee, yes it was hot but it had coffee grinds at the bottom of the cup. So, today I decided to try it this DD again hopefully the service has gotten better, I was WRONG. I order a large hot caramel coffee with cream, the guy replied the don't have any more caramel, so I asked what other flavors were available he told me to the flavors were stated on the menu. So Its Easter Sunday and Im craving coffee, so I get to the drive thru menu you and order a medium mocha latte, hot. I literally wanted it as pictured on the menu with the whip cream and chocolate drizzle. I get to the window and the employee handed me an iced drink mixture in an extremely large cup, no whip, no chocolate or caramel drizzle of any kind, and proceeded to charge me almost $5. Realizing my small child was in the car with me and I didn't want her to see me be rude to anyone, I calmly looked at the employee and asked, "Wasn't this suppose to be hot?" She literally looked at me and rudely said ".....well you said iced." A long time ago I use to be that young girl working in a drive thru on a holiday having to deal with unhappy customers so I honestly tried to be considerate even though I was the customer, I was the one who got the wrong order, and I was the one who was getting a rude attitude from the employee. I looked at her and simply said "ok," and I drove away. I tasted the drink and was appalled by how disgusting it was. They put way too much mocha and since it's iced, it didn't blend well. Which is why I don't generally order iced, flavored coffees. The taste of it was the last straw, if it tasted half way decent I would've kept it moving. But I refuse to spend that much for awful service AND a bad drink. I went back to the drive thru window immediately. As soon as I get there before I could get a word out, the same employee explained she knows she made it wrong and will remake it. Disgusted with the experience I told her that I would instead prefer a refund because the flavor was not even good. Home girl looked at me and said, "I'm not going to even fight you on that." I responded, "Thanks for not fighting me on that, I guess." And she said," I was just saying because it's probably the espresso and people come here and order lattes all the time but don't really want lattes." I've had a latte before, I know what it's suppose to taste like and I know what espresso tastes like. At this point I'm overwhelmed by the nerve of the employee. She actually thought it was appropriate to talk to a customer that way. She then rudely said, "Since you don't like lattes, the next time you come back order a regular coffee and just ask for extra flavoring." I then replied," I won't be coming back but thanks for that tip." I didn't get her name but today is Sunday, April 21st 2019 and this experience happened at about 4:40pm-4:50pm. If you are reading this and you are a manager at the Leland, NC Dunkin Donuts and you want to know which employee is the reason why you lost a customer today, check your schedule and figure who was working drive through at that time. Feel free to ask the other employees as well because even they seemed shocked with how rude this girl was to me. I've worked in customer service my whole life! I get how it is with customers sometimes. But this is unacceptable. I am in management with my employer at the time and I've learned that employees that treat one customer like that will treat more like that. I can honestly say that if she was my employee, she would get reprimanded with a write up, or a suspension of some kind. Literally unacceptable! read more

I've been here 3 times. The first time they got my order completely wrong at the drive thru. The second time they berated my daughter for trying to order a donut at the counter instead of in front of the donut case and the third they gave us a coffee that was only 2/3 full. I love Dunkin. TERRIBLE!!! What do Do you think when you think about Dunkin' Donuts? Obviously not but hello! Their coffee!! For the past couple of times that I've gone through the drive-through at Dunkin' Donuts before my 12 hour shift at 6 AM in the morning to order coffee, they have those lattes, Americano, cappuccino, Pretty much anything that involve espresso. How disappointing is it a wake up in the morning coffee and Every time hearing I'm Sorry our espresso machine is acting up. Or our that machine is broken today. OK, so that's my 1st Complaint. All the other many complaints can just go under this next the rant. They have messed up my order multiple times, I received the wrong receipt, I've been charged the wrong amount, and half the time they are out of the donuts that I think most or all would want, or they just don't carry them anymore.
