The coffee was good but the pink haired staff member was incredibly rude especially to other staff diminishing them and talking to them like they are useless. Very uncomfortable to be in the store. Said "if you were so stupid you'd be a vegetable in the hospital all I said was that you don't use your brain not that you don't have one". She also said multiple other comments that are completely unacceptable especially to younger workers and talking down on them. read more

Absolutely horrible service, got another 3 bbq wake up wraps and again literally no bbq sauce. If I wanted a regular wake up wrap I would order it. It's not hard at all to put sauce on a wrap or sandwich. If I made a mistake in my job someone's house would burn down, please be better this is absolutely ridiculous. Manager (Jen) & assistant managers are a complete B! I've seen the way they treat other customers, NOT just me. One of them even accused me of calling them a rude name which I did not. (Except for this review.) They're miserable. You can go in there happy and leave sad/mad. Time to replace both of them. Dunks can do better. Anyone that says different is their friend and is trying to boost their rating! Easy to find things out nowadays!!! Food is too inconsistent. Order was wrong, ordered an iced coffee with no ice so I'd get more coffee ands it filled to the brum with ice. My 25 piece munchkin wasn't included, there were people inside and the doors were locked, order didn't come with straws and there was no one to open the door and I'm certainly not waiting in the ten car drive thru line for straws. We have been in this Dunkin' in Newport 3 times the last time we just left. 1st time breakfast sandwiches were not cooked just put together women at counter rude, next time order was wrong tried one more time same rude women at register first yells out no credit card no debit cards, after we're out of plain donuts not in a pleasant way rude, doesn't seem like she likes her job, inconvenienced by customers . There are a small number of people who work there who really care and do a good job. Mainly just on the weekends. During the week its hit or miss. There are some people who always say the espresso machine is broken every single time. And are just plain rude. read more

A couple of the locals had warned me to avoid this Dunkin Donuts like the plague... I didn't listen to them. The place looks beautiful from an outside appearance but man, I would never come here again. The gentleman waiting on customers at the register had to be new because he wasn't sure what they had in stock, where the buttons to ring things up were or what was going on. There were two women that were working the drive thru, one of which I saw with my own eyes lick her finger to pull out a wrapper to grab food. That's disgusting. The other girl seemed to be running all over the place trying to for-fill the drive they orders. Now, here I am with my girlfriend, giving the gentleman up front our order. He's a nice enough guy, just seems new, and as he's looking for the buttons he tells us "I don't know where that button is." That's fine, neither do I. So he grabs a coworker to help. One thing or another and a button is pressed, my assumption is that they clicked I was paying with cash. The reason I said that is his coworker tells him to void the order and to redo it. Fine. I work retail, I know how it goes. That's when things took a turn for the worst. Now, I'm a customer. There's a long line, probably five or six people behind me waiting to even place their orders and my whole ordeal so far has been five minutes. That's a long time to order a coffee but it is what it is... But out of nowhere, almost as if there's a button that's pressed to summon the stereotypical, Middle aged, hates her life, clone of Roseanne Barr, manager... she appears and begins belittling the guy up front in front of customers. Without asking what's happening, she starts saying "What have I told you about speed?" And proceeds to go into "what's the problem, can't give him the right change?" First, that's not how you speak to your employees. Ever. Not in front of customers. You can coach your employees but you do not belittle them, nor do you do it in front of customers. I get it, you hate your life that you're managing a Dunkin' Donuts... as your coaching him for his speed, there was not a moment where I thought "I'm never coming back" because the guy was at least kind, smiling, and personable. When the abominable dunks grouch appeared though, man, I couldn't feel like this place could get any worse. She took over the register, began retyping my order and gave me my price. Well, needless to say, my order still got messed up... hot chocolate with whip cream was without, I had to repeat my order again after having had it taken now twice, and it made for an entirely awkward time. I'll never be back to this dunks. I'd rather take my chances in the sewers of Derry, Maine during Pennywises awakening than come back here again. I hope Dunks reads this and realizes that there are many places locally that sell and serve coffee... there is competition now a days for everything. Customer service can make or break a bad experience. If the woman had smiled, taken over, and used a coaching experience off the floor I'd never know, I'd never feel like I'd just witnessed a woman taking out her frustration on another employee because her life sucks... enjoy. read more

Since moving to the new location this Dunkin has gone WAY downhill. I usually order 3 medium iced teas with 3 lemons in each and 3 granulated sugars in each and a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. I thought this was pretty simple. Apparently not. I'm lucky if I get what I ordered. If I do, the tea usually tastes like somebody spiked it with old strong coffee. And my bagel either isn't toasted or it's burnt to a crisp. Time was between 2 and 3pm .Date is April 15th . Today marks 2 YEARS I have been coming to this dunkin donuts literally every single day sometimes twice or more getting my coffees and donuts as well as food . Many of the workers know me by name , I have never been rude or mean to any of the workers and I ALWAYS tip ..especially when they make my coffee right. I have a handicap sign hanging from my rear view mirror due to surgery I recently had that has rendered me unable to walk or stand for at all and if I do ... It is to go to my car. There was a long line in drive through and the people working were very slow . I ordered my coffee loud and clear at the speaker ..repeated it twice and they still got it wrong and was making a hot coffee when I specifically asked for iced..I never ever get hot ..not even in winter . I payed , tipped , was not handed a receipt or asked if i wanted one and on top of that ..no writing on my cup and my coffee WAS WRONG . I pulled forward past the second window close to the curb and even though I SHOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF THE CAR I had to anyway because I was late for an appt and could not go back in line. I walked inside and waited for a long time ..I tried to go to the pick area and was IGNORED ..so I got back in line and waited more ..I was extremely dizzy and very fatigue but waited anyway and this guy who is about 5'7 , brown hair, bad teeth ,skinny , probably between 20 and 30 years old ,was bringing some food to second window and he was looking at my car. I proceeded to tell him yes that's my car I just need my coffee fixed real quick and I'll be on my way I am handi cap . Before I could explain anything he started YELLING at me in front of everyone that I CANNOT park in the drive line and I was spoken to about this and I need to move my car NOW pointing his finger extremely aggressive treating me so poorly I could not even believe it. He would not let me speak and was not concerned about my coffee. I felt like I was going to pass out so I told him I am filling a complaint and rushed to my car asap before I was on the ground. I walked outside and my arms became very heavy , I could not even carry my coffee so I let it go, out of the road by the building near the second window , got in my car , called this place and spoke to him . I asked for the customer service complaint line and he REFUSED to give to to me claiming I threw my coffee at the second window and REFUSED to give me his name as well as hung up on me. I had my father call to get his name and he refused to give his name AGAIN. I WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS GUY HE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK WITH PEOPLE!! Let alone his lack of sensitivity to handi cap people ! This is the kind of people you hire ?? I bring my foster children to this place all 3 seasons and I bring friends as well as family and I have to say I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AS LONG AS THIS GUY IS HERE AND WONT BE TELLING ANYONE TO VISIT HERE! read more

I have been going to this Dunkin' since we moved to the area two years ago and never had much of an issue until a few days ago. I went through the drive thru and ordered two medium iced coffees with less ice. I get to the window and the girl runs my card and starts to hand me two smalls. I told her it was supposed to be medium. She replaced the order but came back with "Just so you know, small WAS said so next time you want medium, say medium!" Before I could reply, she slammed the window shut. Not only that but both were stuffed with ice, I assume just to spite me. I gave myself some time to calm down and then called the manager and explained what happened. She was polite and assured me she would take care of it immediately but there is no excuse to be that rude to your customers. I have worked in customer service for many years and I know it can be frustrating at times but you should Never just accuse people of lying. If you aren't sure, ask and confirm.
