These donuts OMG they're like a pillow, fluffy and fresh! If the owner has hot ones available, even better. The glazed and blueberry cake ones are THE BEST. I'm not a filled donut girly and WOW the filled ones are incredible!! For any filled donuts, he freshly pipes the flavor into the donut when you order. Typically he has lemon, strawberry, raspberry, and some other. The lemon, strawberry, and raspberry are definitely my favorite types! I have turned into a filled donut girly only at this place. If you take the donuts home and some harden or seem stale, throw it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and it's the softest and fluffiest pillow donut. The guy who's always there is super friendly and funny. He's always looking out for me and having me try new items. Ironically there's a Dunkin' Donuts right in front of it, but trust me, you won't be disappointed with these donuts.

They have mostly classics like glaze, twists and eclairs, which is what I prefer. The donuts are also bigger than the competitors and taste homemade. I will definitely be going back to try other flavors! Support local

Family-owned and wonderful service. I can't recommend this place enough. We need to support small local businesses like this because they produce quality food. They also have a DRIVE-THRU! Easy access and very homey feel when you walk in. I highly recommend this place. Please support them when you are thinking of getting donuts. You will be so happy!!!

McGaugh's is your classic, no frills donut shop that is more nostalgic than fancy. The space is outfitted with old school decor, flooring and vibes. There are a few tables, a cooler, small condiment station and a counter, and that is enough! In addition to the public space, there is a view in to the kitchen, where all the donut magic occurs. Knowing what I know about this place, I was after the blueberry donuts and ended up with two of those, plus a classic chocolate glazed and an iced mocha. The blueberry glazed was the better of the two blueberry, which included a non-glazed. The non-glazed was a bit flat and also had a tinge of artificial flavoring. The classic donut with chocolate frosting was the standout for me. Light, airy, delicious and absolute perfection! While they are not known for their coffees or are technically a coffee house, I have to speak on the iced mocha...which was not great. This sounds really weird, but it tasted like how a cigarette smells. I know, really odd, but also spot on as I had someone else taste it and they said the same thing. The coffee was only $3, which I appreciated given the taste. So, it wasn't a total loss. Service was friendly, helpful and patient. Given my first visit, I took a few minutes to see what all was to offer. They also have a drive thru, which is convenient and useful now that I know what I would be after here. Pricing for 3 donuts and a coffee ended up around $8, which is pretty rad and rare, so I will take it! Overall, McGaugh's is a solid neighborhood and local donut spot! Glad to have finally popped in. Will definitely be back!

The chocolate covered kreme filled donut is my favorite, and the original glazed is astounding when they are hot and fresh (or just pop one in your microwave for 7 seconds. It has to be 7. Trust.). The jelly filled makes for a great breakfast and the chocolate iced with sprinkles is so kid friendly! I ordered a customized dozen box earlier today online (so easy on the app or the website and you get to pick it up at a specific time). Order and pick up was easy! Unfortunately even at 11 am on a Wednesday, they were out of one of the donuts I wanted. I was also pretty disappointed in the filling in nearly all of the donuts in the box that were filled with something or another (be it the jelly, kreme, custard, or lemon one) because the filling really only "filled" half of the inside of the donut AT MOST. One of the chocolate covered kreme filled only had filling in 2 small bites worth. It was only on one very small edge side. The chocolate topping on it was also very scarce (kind of visible in the photo I snapped too). Is it a make or break thing? Nope. Will I still eat donuts from here? You bet. Sometimes you just get a donut that hasn't really met your expectations, but that just means you gotta eat another one and another one until you find one that is better, right?
