Hadn't had Dunkin' since my trip to Boston years ago! Stopped in to this location for the first time (drive-thru) and got their $6 Meal Deal which is a medium coffee (hot or iced), bacon, egg & cheese sandwich, and hash browns. I got the iced coffee as caramel swirl flavor, and chose a croissant instead of bagel for the sandwich. The order also came with ketchup and hot sauce in the bag and was not very long of a wait considering I drove up and didn't order ahead in the app or anything. I did overshoot the speaker for the drive-thru a little bit as I pulled up further to read the menu, no one was behind me at the time so I was able to reverse. I visit this place maybe once or twice a week and 8/10 times my drink order is perfect, other 2x its still good. 5 stars because I love the convenience of this location (close to freeway and has a drive thru) and whenever I order from the app, my food is ready when I get there. The people seem pretty nice too, very friendly and I really enjoy not feeling rushed when I am getting everything situated when I pick up my order from the drive thru. This location gets a pretty bad wrap. I will set the record straight. The parking is not great. The entrance is not great. Let's face it, it's not enticing to share a drive through location with a car wash and Taco Bell, especially one that doesn't haven't main street (Bruceville) access. Plus, to get out you have to make a series of funky turns and a tight 3-point U-turn. HOWEVER. That is not the fault of the employees nor it is reflected on the product. Stop, please stop deducting stars for things that have nothing to do with the actual employees or product. The donuts themselves are always fresh, baked hourly. No other donut shop in the area does that! I love consistency and Dunkin' is always consistent. They offer online ordering, delivery services (grub hub etc.) as well as a drive-thru. The employees are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I always get solid recommendations, and as a busy student at the college across the street as well as a mom of 4, Dunkin' is my go-to for bringing home a little something fun for the kids. I have complaints of course, but my inner Karen refuses to reflect it on the non-responsible party. read more

I recently stopped by this Dunkin' to try their donuts for the first time ever. I had never been to Dunkin' before, but I know people who love it, and wanted to see what all the hype was about. I ordered one Bavarian and one Chocolate Cream. Bavarian is normally one of my favorite donuts of all time. This one tasted like chemicals that were supposed to taste like... cardamon? Kind of reminded me of Fruity Pebbles, but more fake. The cream on the inside of the chocolate cream was basically just chocolate whipped cream. The outside was so caked in powdered sugar that it flaked off everywhere when I ate it, and overpowered the chocolate flavor. The donut bread was so bad. It reminded me of when I used to work at Del Taco-- when the employees got bored, we would fry hamburger buns, douse them in sugar, and call them "donuts." Except, the fry bread we made at Del Taco was better than this. Dunkin' donuts taste a lot like the donuts from the deli section at Wal-Mart. I'm glad I finally tried Dunkin', but I think once will be enough for me. Customer service was great. The girl who helped me was very fast and friendly. Prices were on the cheap side. read more

What I love is that although dunkin is known for coffee and donuts, of course, they have this amazing little bite of avocado toast that I usually order as a lunch snack, and it's so filling! Today I placed a Mobil order to pick up. I only ordered 4 items and only got 2 that were correct, the drink and the donut. I ordered avocado toast with bacon and unfortunately there was no bacon. I also ordered loaded hash browns and paid for extra cheese and again, didn't get the extra cheese. It's just a shame that you can't get what you pay for from a place like Dunkin Donuts. Contrary to another review, DD is easy to access, there is a traffic signal that makes entry and exit very easy. As for the food and service, it was excellent. We bought 2 breakfast items and a half-dozen donuts to go, and took them home to eat. Everything was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. We'll be back! read more

Never tried Dunkin' before, because we never had one I. Sacramento or anywhere near here. I had to try it because I love brown sugar and cold brew. After I ordered my drink I was pretty disappointed with customer service. I had to repeat my order, she wasn't paying attention. She was talking to someone with a whole conversation other than work. I went up to the window and she looked miserable took my money and that was it. I looked at the reviews and now I'm scared to drink my drink because of the reviews on cleanliness. Why didn't I read the reviews first!? Brown sugar cream cold foam cold brew- does not come with the cream. You have to ask for it. A medium consists of 3 pumps of brown sugar and 3 pumps of cream if you ask for the cream. Very confusing. At the drive through window to pay and pick up they have a sign reading- " no modifications at window" that was a huge turn off. They really don't care about their customers. I rate the brown sugar cold foam cold brew coffee amazing with how I modified it- 1 pump brown sugar and 1 pump cream in a medium. It's a 2 star bc of the coffee but due to customer service it would have been a 1 star. I won't ever come back. I rather go to Dutch Bros and get their kicker cold brew. read more

I'm not really a fan of Dunkin's donuts...they always seem stale and not fresh. Their coffees are ok. They aren't really strong. I think what stands out at Dunkin' relatively, is their customer service. I often come in for TMobile Tuesday offer and their free medium coffee Wednesday deal (limited time offer), so I appreciate their patience and courtesy. Even though I don't care for their donuts, I was interested to try their cornmeal donut holes recently. They sell them by the 5's, so I ordered a 5 count of the donut holes. They gave me more than that to share, which was appreciated! Other notes...their French vanilla and butter pecan flavors are the best for their coffees. Cake batter was just sweet, without any depth of flavor. Their coconut milk is better than what Starbucks offers...not watery, which is surprising! As for their food, their hash browns are ok. They come in a pack of 6, and are coin-shaped. They can sometimes be crispy or not. During my most recent visit, they were dark, and tasted a little burnt, but not crispy. I also ordered their sausage, egg, and cheese wrap recently. It was basically a small tortilla with sausage patty, American cheese, and egg (seemed to be more egg white). It was not bad! It came out really hot, so be careful about burning your mouth if you try to eat it right away. False advertising. If you advertise it and it's on your menu and nowhere does it state "while supplies last", then you will be facing a class action lawsuit. I LOVE DUNKIN' & we need more in the Sacramento, & greater Sacramento area! This dunkin' has never failed me, they always make my coffee drink just right! I usually get a cold brew with cold foam & try out different flavor syrups & swirls. The food is not gonna be much better than the average fast food place, but the everything bagel bites, & the egg bites are actually pretty decent for a quick breakfast. Went in today for an online order and to order and went through the drive-thru and no one greeted me or took my order therefore I pulled up to the pick up window and The car in front of me was not greeted nor did they take her order too and she was upset bc they opened and slammed the window in her so she pulled off. When we got to the pickup window no one was there and then we had to go instead. Im assuming that they were extremely busy for that kind of bad service. When I entered there was one customer and 4 workers (2 male/2 female) standing, no hello no smiles at all and they looked angry. Excellent service. The lady who was washing the windows when I arrived, held the door open for me as I entered, and exited. The cashier greeted me with a smile, and was very courteous. My main critique is that they don't have a lot of selection for being a donut place. I also never come to Dunkin' Donuts for coffee. I think that is a mistake a lot of other reviewers have made. I saw someone post about the new peanut butter macchiato so we headed over there this morning to try it out. All 2 stars of this review go to that drink - the peanut butter flavor was really prominent and the drink really did taste like a Reese's peanut butter cup with coffee! Other than that, still in no rush to come back to Dunkin if it weren't for their new specialty drinks. We spent nearly 30 mins in the drive thru, even though we were only 3rd in line. Whoever was working the line taking orders was not on top of it at all. I repeated our two drink orders three times and she still didn't put it on the screen. She only entered in our food orders and then told us to just get our total at the window. I asked if she could please enter our drinks on our order because they still weren't on the screen. She gave us attitude and for some reason her voice and another person's voice started talking at the same time so obviously some miscommunication going on there... On the plus side they did have a chalkboard menu of their donuts. But it was pretty generic (glazed, twist, etc) instead of specialty flavors that Dunkin is known for. I saw a ton of fall flavored donuts online so I was thinking of getting one of those but none of them were listed. I asked if they had any of the apple donuts and she just said they only had apple fritters. We ended up not getting donuts at all. We ordered the maple bacon croissant and a sausage egg croissant, but ended up with two sausage egg croissants instead. Another mixup even though our order was correct on the drive thru screen. Just like what 4 miles instead of me driving all the way to Folsom for my DD fix. Came early morning Sunday through drive thru and they had ONLY TWO KINDS of donuts available! Son of a biscuit eating bulldog, are you kidding me??? It's not even 8am! They had this really sad looking glazed bar n Boston Kreme that wasn't even coated properly..... For the love of the donut gods my three year nephew could've coated those donuts properly for you and for FREE! Was the most saddest looking half dozen box I've ever seen in my life... Second time around which was today, and this time I park and go in. Walk into a dirty store, tables with trash and no counters wiped down and once AGAIN NO DONUTS! Absolutely empty EMPTY cases! Like am I missing something here? Maybe this location should change their name to Dunkin' Coffee because that's the ONLY thing they never seem to run out of. There's finally no line at this location! I ordered the blueberry donut and Iced Sunrise Coffee with Almond Milk. Let me say these items are the perfect combo! The blueberry donut was moist and tasty and the Iced Coffee was smooth and works well with the donut to wash it down. The only reason why I took of a star is because the customer service. I felt that they could of been more energized and positive. I also ask if they charge extra for almond milk and the guy responded we have almond milk and charge me extra. There was miscommunication on that part. I understand this is a new location, and there's mistakes. I'll give it time and I'll update my review once they improve. Happy to have a Dunkin Donuts in the area! I only get to visit them while in other states or airports. Although there was no signs or a neighborhood announcement indicating that they were open, it was easy to see by the long line of cars piled up in their drive through that they were. I waited in the car line for about 45 minutes. (Maybe this was a soft open). I was hoping to order my favorite donut, double chocolate, but upon ordering I was told that it was unavailable. I ordered the Berry Powered donut, it was okay but my assorted Munchies were good. Customer service was ok. Emily was friendly. But overall the pacing was slow and it was easy to understand that the staff was still training. Overall, I'm glad they are here and hopefully things will get better as they get more structured. read more

This was my first time going to a Dunkin' location since there aren't any in my home state. Oregon, especially the Portland area, tends to prefer their fancy, overpriced, and overrated local donut establishments, so Dunkin' didn't make the cut anymore. All that said, my curiosity got the better of me and I finally tried one while in Sacramento, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I guess seeing their products in Walmart all my life and the two-star overall rating had my expectations pretty low, but my overall experience at this location was about as good as I would expect a Dunkin' experience to be. I used the drive-thru, and the employee was nice enough to explain to me which flavors the classic donut came in. I decided on maple and chocolate. I also ordered a Vanilla Bean Coolatta. Once at the window, the employee was friendly and prompt with taking my payment and getting me my food. Now, the food itself. Obviously I wasn't expecting anything phenomenal, but for what it was, I thought it was quite good. Sometimes donuts can be a bit greasy (especially at places like Krispy Kreme), but these weren't. They had just the right amount of softness and dryness to them to make them both enjoyable to eat and not painful to the stomach. The chocolate and maple flavors were pretty average for a donut, but I personally enjoy standard donut flavors sometimes, and these worked just fine to satisfy that craving. The Coolatta was kind of like a milkshake/Icee combination, which sounds a bit worse than it actually was, because it was about as enjoyable as most vanilla milkshakes I've had. If you don't expect gourmet quality food from Dunkin', you'll likely have a solid experience with them. If I lived near one I would certainly go to it occasionally. 4/5 read more

I remember when Dunkin' first opened this Donut & Coffee Shop in South Sacramento close to Elk Grove. It was a big deal. They have a super-long line in the parking lot almost any day and time. The long line is no longer there anymore! We have many good coffee shops and boba tea shops in Elk Grove or close to Elk Grove in South Sacramento. More comparators mean higher expectations by the customer. Dunkin' is a very famous big chain, but it can't be as flexible as the smaller shops. The donuts and coffee drinks are okay, but not excellent! I'll still get my coffee at Dunkin'. But I think I'll only do it when they have no waiting! read more

The marketing slogan being used by Dunkin' is America Runs on Dunkin'. While the national chain works to create a foothold in California and the Sacramento region, so far, they're runnin' on empty. A visit to their newest store on Bruceville Road in Sacramento was a disappointment. As someone who has patronized the chain back east starting in the early 60s, my visit to the new store was far below expectations. While Dunkin' seems to be pivoting towards higher-margin breakfast items and sandwiches, for me, they will always be first and foremost and donut and coffee joint. Open for several weeks now and the lines shorter, this morning I visited the store. I was disappointed to see two small donut display cases with less than a dozen varieties with matching Munchkins varieties. A gauge of quality for ay donut place is a glazed donut, so that's what was ordered along with a large coffee. The coffee was way too hot - possibly from sitting in the heater for an extended period -  and the glazed, while not yet stale, but close, was not exactly fresh. I am somewhat loath to criticize the service given most of the employees seemed to be on their first job, nonetheless, the service was slow and lacking politeness. Management better look in the mirror and tighten up their training procedures lest these young folks start experiencing abuse. On my receipt, there was an offer to take their survey and receive a free donut with a coffee purchase. I took the survey and will take advantage of the offering and hope next time on the next visit, there is a large selection of fresh donuts and fresher coffee. I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but gosh this was straight up Bad! To the point where I think the owners NEED to take this seriously. We've seen really bad reviews on Yelp but still decided to give this place a try to confirm. The whole experience was not pleasant, and the coffee was straight up terrible. It wasn't even that crowded for the drive thru line. But one single car was taking 30 mins for something - my goodness, you could have moved! OR the workers could have suggested them to wait in the parking lot. The cars in front of us also lost it! Very inefficient! Then the coffee - My.gosh. The Pumpkin Cold Brew tasted like someone dumped a whole jar of ground cinnamon plus five cigarettes to it. It was straight up disgusting. The caramel latte tasted like it's made straight out of Caramel creamer and milk - absolutely no coffee taste. I would give drinks Zero star. I've heard that Dunkin is famous for their coffee. This can't be it. This is giving Dunkin a really bad name. I hope the owners of this place really take this into consideration and fix their whole system. read more

June 2021 They're currently open for drive thru only (6/11/21). I visited this location two times. First time was in the morning around 10AM on a weekend. I waited about 40 mins to order. I visited again on a weekday around 6pm and waited 35 mins to order. So far I've only tried their drinks bc I haven't seen the best review for their donuts/food items. Based off the drinks, the price is pretty reasonable. I tried their small cold brew + sweet foam which was was $3 and some change. This cold brew was a bit watery and not too strong, but still had a decent taste to it. My second visit I tried a medium matcha latte w/ skim milk which was $4.23. While in the drive thru line waiting to order, I looked at their menu online and didn't see matcha latte w/ oat milk as an option, but next time I'll ask since I prefer oat milk. The employees are likely working as fast as they can, however be sure to come with patience. For now there's only 1 window to order, so you will most likely have to wait to place your order. Dunkin is new to town so expect people to take a few minutes to order. Maybe if they have enough employees, they can consider having someone stand outside to take orders and answer any questions like at Dutch bros and in n out. For now, 3 stars. Once there is more than 1 way to order and pick up your order, I'll be back to try more drinks like an iced coffee. read more
