If I could complain it's that I can't just walk into a storefront and buy their bread everyday. But…read moretheir salt buns are delicious and their pain au chocolat is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. The site is a little clunky to navigate (it keeps opening a new window when I want to select more items to add to my cart) but nothing I cant figure out. Yelp doesn't show it, but the hours are a little off- friday is pick up only. (And when I finish my box, Friday can't come soon enough!)

Butter croissants are always a good benchmark to test a good bakery and this one is great! What…read moremakes it even more unique is that it's a sourdough base...it's buttery with a little more interesting flavor than ordinary croissants. Of all the croissants in the Sacramento area, this one from Mellobun is one of my top contenders for best in the city (favorite is Julian's in Folsom). The salt bread is a new discovery for me and the sourdough base also makes it stand out from traditional Asian salt breads. It has a nice crust and delicate interior that is fluffy and just the right saltiness. The Korean cream cheese was too sweet for my palate but it's always fun to try flavored versions of classic Viennoiserie. I was expecting a more savory cheese bread but this is definitely a sweet + onion flavor. Customer service is very responsive. The baked goods were a little late from scheduled pick-up and the bakery texted me to confirm new time; was missing a croissant in my box and the team quickly refunded for the correct amount of goods.

If you love black sesame you have to come here and get that and try that as well they have a black sesame Hoji cha aka roasted green tea leaves. which is really great and I believe a black sesame blended drink as well. . I also have this brand new sushi rice with seaweed and spam and kimchi and secret spicy sauce which is really great and is she's only it is called kaiju onigiri. One tip is to ask for Less sauce unless you like it Saucy but it was a little bit messy to eat which is great because if it doesn't require napkins then it's a problem. Also this is a great snack and even just a meal by itself because it's pretty stacked. . This is one of my favorite boba tea spots to go to and try out their drinks it is solid. I also like coming here because I like to go to America's Tire next door to rotate my tires and I love coming here to try out there drinks and wait over here as well. Also there is Traders Joe which is in the same parking lot so it's really convenient to do a lot of stuff. The service here is always friendly and they are quick with getting the drinks out. My favorites things about this place is they serve tasty drinks, has a lovely relaxing ambience & is group & date friendly. My faves: 1. hojicha latte (seasonal) 5/5 stars 2. ube latte (seasonal) -5/5 stars 3. Taro Taro -5/5 stars 4. Takoyaki-lobster balls 5/5 stars 5. Sweet potato fries 4/5 stars 6. Kids love their popcorn chicken and fries 4.5/5 stars (I like to wish I can eat their Viet taro rice cake, hash brown nuggies & beef balls. ). A few things I've love about T% on Big Horn.. The ambience is so comfortable & relaxing. The lights are soft & pacifying, the acoustics are not super loud for my aging ears, even when it's packed with people. I love how conducive it is to conversation when im on dates or when I'm on 1-1 meetings or even with a group of 6 people. The chairs are padded, comfortable for my aging bones. Seating is from 2-6 seats. In the colder months there's heaters & chairs outside which is nice aesthetically, ambiencey & for that patio like feel. I love that they open relatively later than usual and most boba spots (10am-10pm, Mon-Sun). I can usually modify my drinks to low or no sugar, light ice, and modify my milks because I'm a modifying my drink type of gal. One super cute thing I love about T% is that will decorate for most holidays. I love the decor for Christmas which includes a huge tree, for Valentines a giant bear & heart & an interesting looking telephone, for Chinese New Year some dragon decor. The service is awesome. They answer all my questions, and even help me when I can't find stuff on their self order kiosk, which is also convenient to get my order in. The manager lady is sweet, has adorable style & she works alot, maybe that's why the spot is running so efficiently & smooth. I haven't had a go-to boba place in the past ever, but since the beginning of the year I have one now. Love me some T%! I'd like to try the other location on EG Florin sometime too. Highly suggest!

The Coffee here is excellent, I personally love the one and one, which is an espresso shot and a cortado for around $4. Service is kind, informative, and helpful. Parking was confusing, didn't realize it was in a church and there wasn't really obvious signage from the parking lot that you're in the right spot. I had to look at the other review pictures to be like okay, I am here. Interior is cute and modern, but lacking that lived in feel I prefer for coffee shops. Service was quick. The coffee itself seems to lean towards biblical (lol?) food items. Think olive oil, dates, tahini, honey. I got the Tahini Einspanner because how fun, I can get some tastes of tahini and date but the whip and syrup didn't mix well into the drink despite me aggressively trying so it just lasted like a $7 plain latte. I almost had to bite the whip because it was so thick. Seems like they're using quality ingredients so the intention is there, the executions needs some refinement.

It's a small coffee truck tucked into a tiny lot next to another business on Elk Grove Florin Road in between Bond Road and Elk Grove Blvd. Even though there's only 2 people working, their service was professional and courteous. At first I was wondering why they took someone's order then stepped away to make drinks before they thanked us for our patience and came back a few minutes later to take the orders for the person in front of me then myself. I'm not a coffee drinker but I thought I'd try their hot chocolate and banana muffin. Their hot chocolate was actually hot and stayed hot much longer than most other places' hot chocolates. It had a really creamy cocoa taste which I loved. Their banana muffin with walnuts was flavorful as well. I kind of wish they offered the option for warm muffins as mine was cold but it was still good. The only negative I could possibly think of is their parking situation. I was fortunate enough to be on my bike but it was kind of worrying to see cars trying to enter and exit. Maybe 3 or 4 cars tops can park in their tiny lot and I witnessed people constantly honking at each other while trying to enter and exit. However, that has no bearing on my review of their food and service. Overall, I enjoyed my little visit here. I'll have to try their giant chocolate chip cookie next time with a nice cup of hot cocoa.

Iced Coffee: 4.0 Service: 3.5…read more Tuesday warm afternoon and my daughter is getting ready to fly back to Washington, so I know it's a last minute search for food or drink she hasn't tried. She chose Carpenter coffee roasters which is a small local coffee truck right off Elk Florin. We parked and walked up to the truck. I was hesitant because of the small menu, but don't let that fool you because the coffee they use is really REALLY GOOD! We ordered an iced vanilla latte and an iced white mocha. I usually stay away from drinks with dairy (lactose intolerant, LOL) but my daughter ordered my drink and gave me the: "just try it" look. And boy was she right! The coffee they use cuts through but the white chocolate created a smooth creamy aftertaste. Soooo good! As for my daughter Latte, it disappeared, but failed to give me her review jumping on the plane Like any place, for food or drink not everyone's palette is the same so you'll have to try for yourself but be honest for other yelpers out there. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by Carpenter Coffee Roasters
