Their menu offers A TON of delicious fresh baked pastries that all look absolutely delicious and they also have various healthy breakfast and lunch options to satisfy your more savory cravings. Overall, the experience eating here was perfect! From the moment I walked in the door, the baristas were sweet and happy as could be, brightening my morning from the get-go. The food was served up quickly and with delicious and fresh flavor. The avocado was ripe, the egg cooked perfectly, the bread toasted nicely, and the entire dish seasoned well. As for the matcha, it wasn't the highest quality powder in the world but still had good flavor. I'm a huge fan of this spot and I can't wait to go back and try some of their popular pastries!

The star of the show is the sandwich selection, all on a choice of focaccia or seeded roll, with many including stracciatella, a thick, white, creamy, Buratta-like cheese. Almost every item in the store-- from meats to cheeses to drinks to candies and snacks-- is imported from Italy and you can taste the difference. This ain't your daddy's Boar's Head. -- Tutto: Tried on focaccia, with Mortadella, Soppressata, Capicola, Prosciutto, Provolone, Stracciatella Cheese, Tomatoes, Onions, Pickles, Hot Cherry Peppers, and Garden Greens. Very creamy cheese, almost mayoey in texture. It took some adjustment on my first try, but I got used to it quickly. Strong flavors overall. Very enjoyable. -- Matto: Tried (on two different visits) on a grilled seeded roll, this packed Prosciutto, Soppressata, Sharp Provolone, and Hot Cherry Peppers. Bold flavors from the coldcuts, sharp cheese, and perfectly toasted bread, all in the right proportions to enjoy every flavor and texture. This was spectacular and will be a repeat sandwich for many visits to come. Excellent sandwiches. Nice people. Easy ordering via Toast (they don't have a website). Limited hours-- weekday lunches only-- and hard to spot, but in the same parking lot as the convenience store. I'm not an authority on Italian sandwiches but I've had my fair share from the "name" places in and around Boston, and this unknown gem from the outer suburbs ranks right up there with them. Some may argue they charge Boston prices, but for Boston quality without the Boston hassle, well worth it. Solidly in my lunch rotation.

The atmosphere is so welcoming and warming, really creating a rejuvenating and calming atmosphere with their relaxed and friendly service. The owner and staff here is so kind and they make the experience that much better--you can tell their food is full of love!! All homemade, the dessert menu here is not one to skip! I love everything about my experience dining here and appreciate the work and care that goes into this establishment at all levels. I highly recommend you give it a try, it's really just a lovely place to be and deserves all the appreciation I can possibly give it! The afternoon tea this time was a little fancier and pricier than the last time we came. Unfortunately, we did have to wait quite a while for our food to come out this time as well (they were understaffed and having some issues in the kitchen). Again, do not come here if you're in a rush. The ambience is like you're at grandma's house. It's cute and there is no music, so if there are loud conversations around, it does get somewhat loud easily. My husband was the only man in the entire restaurant (I think he was last time too!) so it's a very woman-centered space. The teacups and placemats are all adorably mismatched. We got the oolong tea and the earl grey with peach, and both were nice and strong brews. When the food finally came out, it was like going to carb heaven. Everything is made from scratch and I loved every single one of the scones (there were plain, lemon, blackberry, and butterscotch oatmeal) served with jam and clotted cream. The little savories were also delicious and we particularly enjoyed the artichoke croustade. The cucumber dill ones were nice palate cleansers. The sweet offerings were all delicious (and mostly fall themed) and the only one that was too sweet for me was the snickerdoodle cupcake with maple frosting. We had to pack up some leftovers because we were absolutely stuffed. I think this is one of the most authentic afternoon tea places I've been to and I would come back.

It almost has a homey feel and the servers are always friendly. Their food tends to be hearty and comforting. A few dishes I have tried and enjoyed include: - The cassoulet, which is not a traditional French cassoulet at all, but it is comforting and filling. I would give it an 8/10 (ask for extra bread). - The baked brie is really good and comes in a big portion. I would give this a 10/10. - Le Jardinier is an open-face veggie sandwich. It has a lot piled on the bread, so it can get a bit soggy, but it is a good lighter option if you do not want one of their heavier dishes. 7/10. - The gratin is sooooo good. It is a super decadent mac and cheese with thin slices of prosciutto. 10/10 - Chaider (not a food item) is my favorite drink. It is a mix of chai and apple cider 10/10. - The duck house potatoes and eggs are good, but if your eggs are overcooked, the dish can be a bit dry since there is no sauce. I also love the Strawberry Moon smoothie--the banana flavor isn't overpowering, which is a big plus. If you're into coconuts, my friend highly recommends the Maui Colada.
