Dunkin Donuts has been a landmark on the corner of Stroutwater and Main Street for as long as I can remember. This DD has recently been renovated and looks fantastic.this evening I stopped by to pick up a specialty ice coffee for a friend. She was very thankful and loved the caramel flavor.

I got an iced coffee and it was watered down and wasn't mixed well at all. I work at a Dunkin up north so I can tell the difference.

Visiting from out of town, 8:00am Saturday: no line, full selection, friendly and chill vibes…read more These donuts have a slightly chewy, dense texture that is very pleasant and not quite like any other baked good I can think of. The flavor doesn't hit you immediately but develops as you chew. A novel donut. Lemon, vanilla, and blueberry were my favorites. The whoopie pie donut tastes just like a whoopie pie, if that's your thing. I was a little disappointed in the sweet potato ginger -- I don't think I could have identified the flavors in a blind tasting, too subtle. But still tasty. Definitely recommend this spot for a different kind of donut experience.

I've Seen Better Glaze…read more Family-owned chain of donut shops that started off in a home kitchen driven with a dream and some Maine potatoes, and has turned into one of Downtown Portland's biggest foodie destinations. Holy Donut opened their first Portland location back in 2012, and they now have five locations around the state, including this DT location which is probably their busiest. The Good: *Vegan & Gluten-free offerings--but they're not synonymous! Check the fine print or ask. *Coast-to-Coast shopping options, including vending machines (we saw some at PWM). *Online ordering available for pickup. Tbh this is probably the way to get them, as you can skip the line and go straight to the back at the pickup window and just get your stuff right quick. You're welcome. *Donuts are made daily from scratch and feature seasonal and limited flavors. The Meh: *You'll most likely have to pay for parking at this DT location. *You'll also most likely encounter a large line to order from, depending on the time of day. When we walked by earlier before lunch it was HUGE, but after lunch it was down to manageable ±10 people ifo of us, and it did move pretty quick, as well. I mean, it is just donuts ffs. It shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to decide. The Ugly: *Pricing is a bit obscene at ±$5/ea, but it's to be expected in a extremely popular area full of tourists and cruises. *Take this with a grain of salt, as I'm very particular about donuts in general, but I found them to be very heavy and just OK. Also, the flavors could've been punchier, as I found the taste a little too muted for my liking. Conclusion: Definitely not worth a long wait or the price imo, but if you're in the area, the line is short, and you have $5 burning a hole in your pocket then I say go for it. Because, evidently, I'm in the minority judging by the popularity and reviews. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We got some delicious lattes and my daughter hit them up for a hot chocolate. They only have four metal bar height chairs to sit on, but we did and boy did we enjoy our delicious donuts. Their lineup of breakfast Sammie's look spectacular also... and happy to see they offer pork roll as an option - an homage to hometown Philly!

The interior of the donut shop is stylish and welcoming, and I saw a few bar seats if you want to stay to eat. There were plenty of flavors; we ended up trying the Portland Fog (i.e. lavender + earl grey), maple cruller, and chocolate & sea salt cruller. Service at the counter was quick. The donuts were all tasty! I actually liked the Portland Fog donut texture better than the crullers, which were nice and airy but a bit soggy/limp for me. The Portland Fog was especially delicious -- I love a lavender + earl grey combo -- though I wish it was 10% lighter on the lavender flavor. The chocolate & sea salt flavor combo was also delicious (though you can never go wrong with that flavor pairing). I will flag for those with dietary restrictions that there are unfortunately no vegan or vegetarian donuts here, since they fry all their donuts in lard. Overall, a pleasant experience. I'm looking forward to trying more flavors!

I also got an iced vanilla latte - thoroughly enjoyed the latte! Four adults and a toddler sampled a bunch of donuts - sounds like the start of a terrible joke...These are my notes on all of the donuts and not a consensus from the group, in no particular order. Woopie pie: 4 stars - good flavor and texture, nice way to begin this sampling experience. Bacon cheddar fried donut: 5 stars - delicious, amazing flavor, served hot, good distribution of fillings; would gladly have this again! Margarita: 3 stars - definitely taste the salt and lime, little bit of tequila as well; glad I experienced this, not something I'll go back for. Key lime holy cannoli: 5 stars - love the texture of the donut, light and fluffy, good lime flavor and enjoyed the cannoli cream. Creme brulee: 3 stars - good flavor, the crystallized chunks of sugar were a nice touch; I had high hopes, and it was alright but not life changing - that's on me. Maple: 3 stars - typical maple donut, not overwhelming with flavor but definitely knew it was maple. Maple bacon: 4 stars - lots of bacon, almost balanced by the maple. Blueberry lemon: 5 stars - really great lemon flavor to the glaze, blueberry flavor comes through the donut nicely; looking forward to having this again! Vanilla holy cannoli: 5 stars - again, love the texture of the donut, classic flavor with the cannoli cream; I would gladly eat a whole one of these! Chocolate sea salt: 3 stars - good chocolate flavor, didn't get much of the sea salt coming through. Pomegranate: 4 stars - very sweet, good amount of pomegranate flavor; could not eat a whole one as it would be too sweet for me. Honey lavender: 5 stars - mmm, honey and lavender partnered nicely, sweet but not obnoxiously so, loved how well the lavender flavor came through; I very much so enjoy botanicals in sweet treats and lattes. Toasted coconut: 5 stars - deliciously sweet coconut taste, nostalgic flavor of something my grandma use to make, I really enjoyed it! Such a fun way to bond with friends and spend a relaxing morning on vacation! Would gladly get donuts here again, and now that i know my favorites, I can be more intentional with my order next time

They do have some merch to select as well and they have their whole bean coffee available. The service was great. You will pay for these gems of deliciousness - like $4+ a donut. It did not disappoint at all and deserves all the hype/love it gets from the reviews. Tucked away in an area that is mostly industrial/business headquarters area. You will easily spot it though from the beautifully done artwork on the wall. It is a small building so hopefully you can time it well to avoid huge rush/crowds. They had roughly 7-8 tables with some 2-person and some 4-person tables if you are looking to enjoy your food here. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. They had so many tempting sounding breakfast sandwiches it was difficult to pick. I ended up going with their breakfast burrito and my wife got the Pine Point. Both were phenomenal and would be no brainers to order again, but with so many choices we would likely choose other new ones. My wife loved the bread used and the corned beef were perfectly made! The breakfast burrito was packed full with zero complaints. Drink wise we each got an iced latte, my wife got the mocha and I got the honeycomb latte. Both were very solid with a good amount of flavor to them. Lastly before leaving we each picked out a donut to have when we got home, a blueberry and a Maine maple. Definitely a spot we look forward to returning to in the future. Add this to your places to check out as a local or tourist!

There is limited seating space inside and we barely were able to find a space for ourselves. There are some parking spots outside but can fill up quickly as there is also a Driving Range behind the cafe. Overall, good food but try something else for beverages.
