Celeste was so helpful & knowledgeable!! I was struggling to find a color & she was so patient with me. She kept showing me different variations and options on top of complimentary colors. Then when she took me over to her desk, she showed me the different options to paint if I wanted to elongate the room or make the room smaller. She also recommended a primer & boy was she was right!! It looked completely different with a primer vs. without it. I'm so used to getting cheap paint at a big box store. The customer service doesn't compare and neither does the paint! So I came here today to get a gallon of paint that I had recently got a sample of. Miners Dust to be exact. Chuck was awesome!! He helped me get the exact color I was looking for since I didn't bring the sample only a picture and names of the samples. Plenty of supplies but I get that creepy under-the-table vibe because nothing has a price mark on it. Paint comes bloody fast if there is no line and they'll mix your custom colour for you in a jiff. Be sure to get enough the first time around because the shading doesn't always match exactly. (Lesson learned.) But don't go nuts because there is a NO return policy on the custom paint. Just between you, I and the rest of yelp...ask for the "friends and family" discount which is still a better deal than your AAA card. read more

I am a handyman who specializes in interior painting. I've been painting for at least a decade and I've used almost every major and boutique brand of paint you can think of (smith, frazee, Benjamin Moore, scotch, Olympic, vista, behr, american traditions, valspar, devine, sherwin williams etc.) and for me, Dunn Edwards paint wins hands down. Now to be clear, their lower end paints are not all that much better than the big box store stuff, however, their Suprema base is the best paint I've had the privilege of using. It performs well across a range of temperatures, has excellent adhesion, excellent hide, and once cured, creates a surface that is very cleanable (unless you use flat paint as it is un-cleanable regardless of brand). The color stays true much longer than other paints I've used, and makes future touch ups a no-brainer. I am not employed by them nor do I have any incentive to say this other than my own experience. Having worked with dozens of different brands of paint, I can assure you that there is definitely a noticeable difference in their performance over time. Contrary to popular belief, all paints are NOT created equal. They use differing amounts of clay, latex, titanium, and other components to create their base, and the amount of titanium directly effects the amount of hide a paint is capable of per volume as it is the major reflective component. Do yourself a favor and try some Dunn Edwards Suprema. You'll be glad you did, I promise! read more

I came in to pick up a few samples. As I walked in the door I was greeted with a nice smile by Adreana behind the counter. I didn't have the numbers but the names of the paints. She kindly looked them up for me and even looked through a more extensive data base in case the colors were not in the current collection (but they can still make them) I asked her co worker Diane a question about color and trim. She looked at the "inspiration photo" I brought and helped me choose colors that I I think will look great on my house. She suggested to pay attention to undertones. I appreciated honest yet enthusiastic opinions. I ended up buying a few more samples just to try out options. They know what they are talking about here.
