Great customer service with a vast knowledge on non other than, you guessed it paints. I've been missing out on shopping here for all my painting needs. Competitive pricing to big box and you get some one on one service with the ability to pick some brains. I do think next time I go I'll be splashing paint on my clothes to fit in with all the customers in there. And the hours are great. 6 am and I'm grabbing paint. read more

To whom this concerns, Do "NOT" waste your time here. I have experienced two nasty incidents dealing with two very unprofessional employees working from this Goodyear, AZ. Dunn Edwards paint store. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT! bother wasting your time or money here. I cannot stress enough how horribly unprofessional the customer service is at this location. On Wed, Nov. 13th 2023 I called to get information from the color advisor but was told she is too busy and can't receive calls. So I explained I was looking to get a color scheme rendering computer generated for our home. This female employee told me we don't do that. I kindly told her yes you do because I've had it done here before. I explained we give the color advisor a picture of our house and they place a color scheme on it so we can see how it looks before we purchase the paint. She told me; No! we don't have a way to do that. I tried to explain to her yes your color advisor has a method for this as I've had it done here before. But all this person wanted to do was repeatedly argue with me over the phone. I did nothing to deserve her rudeness as she continued to want to argue with me. I asked her if she could please leave a message and she acted like it was a big problem. I can't believe she doesn't even understand the basics of her own job & how they operate. She was rude, nasty and unprofessional to say the least. Look, if they hate their job that much why not just find a new one. ‍ Is it that difficult? At first I was willing to blow it off until I encountered another employee with a similar attitude "Aubree Smith, also unprofessional, rude, nasty customer service employee for Dunn Edwards. I set a 30 minute color advisory appointment on Thursday Nov. 14th 2023 but called ahead to see if I could save us both some time by just sending in the house photo which we both agreed was quick & simple. Soon after I received email results and was asked about further assistance for color scheme in case I needed it. I accepted the offer and sent additional color schemes. Short time later another email stated there would be a $25 charge but she could only offer one FREE. "I was like WHAT!!" Why offer customers additional selections if you intend to charge them extra fees at $25 each photo. Keep in mind these are watermarked photos NOT prints. Who would want that? Did she suppose I want to hang them on my wall. How STUPID!! First off, Aubree never stated anything about charges. It wasn't until she realized she would have to work 5 extra minutes to help satisfy a customer's decision that it suddenly became a issue for her. Hey "Dumb Edwards," are you guys purposely trying to chase customers AWAY? It's a big painting job on a two story home why wouldn't I be concerned about making the right choice. I am convinced Aubree either doesn't like her job or she wants extra FREE TIME to avoid working. How hard can it be to add color schemes on a computer. Aubree clearly is NOT about working or helping customers make decisions. She only wants to pretend until she's taken up on the offer to actually do something. I scheduled a 30 minute consultation with her too but told her I could save us time by emailing the house photo. She agreed which obviously, saved her the 30 minute consultation time. However I received a nasty email from her complaining that additional color schemes are $25 each. Aubree Smith, from the looks of it, it's not the first time you were rude & unprofessional to Dunn Edwards customers. It's pathetic and sad this employer even allows you this kind of behavior. Something seriously must be wrong with your attitude. I recommend you find a new job. Also, I strongly advise customers to steer clear from this Dunn Edwards location due to the lack of courtesy & professional help. read more

We went into the store today for a free color consultation as the contractor who is painting our house is using Dunn Edwards paints and he told us that we could get a free color consultation with Dunn Edwards. Last Sunday, I called the Goodyear store and inquired as to whether we needed to make an appointment for this service or could we just walk into the store. We were told that we could simply walk into the store for this. My wife and I live in Glendale so it is a pretty far hike out to Goodyear. I teach a fitness class at my gym every Saturday in Goodyear and we figured we could just walk into the store after the class for the consultation. There were two people working at the front cash register when we walked in, both fairly young and one of them was a young lady. Neither one of them greeted us or said "Welcome in!" when they saw us. We told the young lady, Aubree Smith, that we wanted to get the free color consultation for our house painting and we were told we could walk in for the appointment. In a somewhat rude tone, Aubree said, "Yes, you can usually walk in for this, but you can't do that today and you will have to call and make an appointment." Her tone was rude and not helpful at all. I explained to her we lived in Glendale and we were told we could just walk in and she again repeated, "Normally, you can but I don't have time to do this today." I get stores are busy and things like this normally require an appointment but it would have been nice if the person I talked to on the phone a week ago would have told us it is better to make an appointment. Also, it does not excuse at all the rude behavior and tone of Aubree Smith. We ended up making our appointment at a different Dunn Edwards for our color consultation, even though the store location is actually a further drive for us. The rudeness and lack of professionalism on Aubree's part, not to mention her young age, did not give me any confidence that she would be qualified to help us make our paint selection. If our contractor was not using Dunn Edwards paints, I would probably switch and make a different paint selection. It is sad to me how rude and unprofessional so many young people are in places of business, but I guess, unfortunately, that is just the nature of the world that we live in today. read more

Dunn-Edwards located in Goodyear has been my number one choice vendor and supplier of all my paint and supplies. This location has professional staff that goes above and beyond of what I have expected. As a painting contractor, this location by far beats the rest from upper management to the sales associates, everyone is always more than willing to help. Had a mix up on the paint I purchased. I was treated with respect and given superior customer service by Artura.

It has been about 6 years since we moved into this house. We painted the interior about 3 years ago. Time to touch up the trim, doors, etc. My home builder said they used Dunn-Edwards paint and the color. I found this one close to my home, COOL! They are the nicest staff! The acknowledge when you walk in. I was not sure about the amount of paint, they listen and suggested a size. I showed them a discount card but it was an OLD one so they replaced my card with the new one. And less than 15 or 20 mins, out with my custom paint. When they hand over the paint, they double check to make sure that is want you ordered. read more

Lack of customer service and willingness to help. Went in with my two year old daughter to retrieve paint chip scheme samples that HOA requires us to us. The lady who I asked for help sent me over to the paint chip area to search for them myself while she sat behind the counter with another worker socializing. read more

Knowledgeable and helpful employees Anytime I have a paint project Dunn Edward's is where I go to get the job done right. There is a Home Depot and Lowe's less 5 miles away however, I prefer Dunn Edwards hands down. The staff at Dunn Edward's are knowledgeable and helpful, they will go out of their way to assiat with any project you might have. Showing their great customer service, a company representative reached out to improve their customer service. This was a one off. I don't think my review represented this store, only an individual. I'm glad they want to improve, shows they care. I appreciate their efforts and will continue shopping at this store. I've always loved this store. But, the last two times I went in I got poor customer service. Today I went in the same lady didn't take my name, seemed to be bothered she was helping me. I brought in a photo on my phone, she looked and didn't say anything. I had to ask my f she needed to see it again. "Nope, I got it". When I went back she had to take two large drinks from her mug before telling the other person getting my paint, what paint was mine. I had asked her if the name on the photo of the paint was my painter. She said yes, asked if he was painting again for me. I said no. I have used Dunn Edwards, specifically this location for several years. I have always had decent service. During my last purchase (last week) I inadvertently ordered the wrong paint color. The ladies I dealt with (bad with remembering names) were great about it. They took the time to look through paint samples to come up with a paint closely matching the color I needed. Even though the paint I had was heavy in the wrong tint they came up with something. No charge for my mess up and when I put up the paint you can't even tell it is wrong. For those who say they are expensive, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR IN THIS CASE! read more

I'm not sure what's happened to this store, but the professionalism and behavior of the current staff is far below what I have experienced in the past at this location. I took two gallons of exterior paint into the store last week that had been previously mixed at this store several years ago. I also brought in a piece of wood with one of the colors on it for a color match, since the paint has faded considerably and is no longer it's original hue, and I'm touching up and need as close to an exact match as possible. The second color I told them it was not important that it be an exact match as I was not touching up anything, rather I was using it for another project. I was told it would take up to an hour for color matching. Huh? Never heard that before. I returned an hour and half later to find that only half my order was ready. I waited an additional half hour in the store while they tried to mix the second gallon of paint. There were no customers in the store either time I was there so I couldn't really understand the delay. While I was waiting, the employees were goofing off on the PA system, which I found very unprofessional while a customer was in the store. One guy finally came out with sample of my paint (by now the store is closed) and said "this is as close as I can get it", at which point I told him that I had told the girl who took my order it didn't have to be an exact match as I wasn't trying to do touch up and it didn't matter. He looked at me like I had two heads. When I got home and opened the paint that I had taken the wood sample in to match, the consistency was strange, almost like runny cottage cheese. After I touched up the areas on my house that needed repainting and let them dry, the color is nowhere near what it should be, and now I will need to go back and see if they can lighten it up a bit. I'm not upset about the color not being right, but I am put off by they amount of time it took to accomplish what should have been a simple job, and the lack of professionalism with the employees. read more

I went to this store to get help with painting the interior of my home. Once I arrived at about 4:00 pm I found the store empty (no customers). There were two female employees in the office behind front counter. I browsed brochures, paint card samples and floor products for thirty minutes and was not asked if I needed any assistance. I looked at both employees and walked out. They acted as if I wasn't important compared to their conversation. read more
