Horrible customer service. Arrived at the Goodyear Lowe's at 6:20 AM to purchase a dishwasher. Even with the help of a woman stocking shelves, we could not get anyone to come to appliances to help me. She called for assistance on her phone and made two announcements in the store and no response. Finally, a cashier was flagged down to help me. I waited an additional 25 minutes and was told they were still looking for the dishwasher. I had to leave at 7 AM to get to my first job. I'll try the Buckeye Lowe's later today and see if they know what they are doing. read more

We were so pleased when one of the managers took the time to walk us aisle by aisle to help us locate each item on our list (all the while, picking up tiny pieces of trash to keep the store looking tidy). This is for the Goodyear location I initially placed an order online for 24 bags of rocks. Delivery was the next day. I work from home, got a text saying my order was delivered. It was not. I looked at the picture and it is definitely not my house nor my development. I call customer service, give all the info they need and am assured I will get a callback the next day. That didn't happen. I called and spoke with 3 more people (I've spent about 2 hours on hold, etc at this point) and finally get connected to the Goodyear store manager Javier who tells me he is having my order pulled within 30 minutes. Problem is lowes uses a 3rd party for shipping and its done online so he said it can take up to 24 hours got a response but he was going to try to escalate it. I asked for a call when this was resolved and was assured he would give me a courtesy call. 24 hours comes and goes. I call the store. Javier is gone for the day and the other manager is tied up on do not disturb. I need to call back yet again tomorrow. Mind you i did not receive free shipping and the project that was supposed to get done is on hold due to the incompetence of a driver who put in the wrong address into the GPS. We have ordered several times before and this hasn't happened. I am ready to dispute my credit card and go to home depot. read more

My project. Insulate our garage door. Went to this store, to buy 4x8x1" sheets of reflective poly board. I have a smaller SUV. I asked if they could cut the sheets in half to fit my vehicle. "NO, we don't do that" Well, alrighty then.....goodbye! I drive down the street to Home Depot. Ask them the same question. "YES, we can do that, but it will be a bit" No problem. My wife and I went last week to look for carpet for our bedrooms and I saw the ad for Lowe's at 40% off. They had quite a few samples of carpet that they were selling 40% off and we found a really nice 50 ounce carpet and was able to install our 3 bedrooms for $2000. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE WE DID AND BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES! We purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer from Lowes in 2022 AND added the 5 year extended warranty. The dryer began having issues of shutting down and not completely drying clothes after 3 years. We have had repair people from 3 different companies replace parts and try fixing the problems under the warranty process. I started with Lowes home improvement back in January 2024 ordered level or blinds and it took me over 10 months to finally get the right blinds installed Their customer service was awful. They wouldn't follow up if they needed something or if something was wrong I had to do all the legwork and I spent hours and days on the phone for installers not to show up getting the wrong parts and I've been waiting on these clips for about four months and the representatives in Hall And Decor don't follow up or call you back. They are awful about contacting defender to see what the delay is and to let the customer know what's going on . I am a veteran will never use them again. I currently have a complaint in and all they've told me is, I'm sorry no reimbursement of any kind stay away. read more

I requested a chain cut, and Shirley came to help me with a bad attitude. She started cursing because the cutting machine wasn't working properly, and it made me feel uncomfortable, as if it was my fault for asking to cut the chain. We wanted to purchase cabinets for our laundry room. We asked for a quote for eight cabinets for our laundry room. They were going to charge us almost $5000 for just the cabinets. Later, they had one of their installers quote us to install these cabinets. The quote came back at $2500. All together, they were going to charge us $7500 to install 8 cabinets in my laundry room. In short, I purchased six cabinets for my laundry room from another cabinet company and had a handyman install these beautiful cabinets for a total price of $2500. These are not stock cabinets. And all of the doors/drawers are slow close. So happy about these beautiful cabinets. Lowes, shame on you for continuing to rip customers off by these ridiculous prices! read more

It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon. We came in to price some items we needed. But also was specifically looking for large moving boxes. I was very surprised that they had large boxes but not very tall ones that we need it for the move. We are going to end up looking somewhere else but it was still a fun busy walking experience to look through the entire store for things that we need. I think because it was the weekend there where a lot more customer service representative's available. I have visited the store during the week and it has been a little less helpful. Lowe's is the place to go for pretty much everything you could need for any home project. The prices appear to be in line with home depot which is just down the block. The store is neat, organized, and the staff, if you could find them are very helpful. Live Christmas Tree. We purchased the tree on Dec 8th for about $86 and about 6ft. The tree is now just about dead. I have had a live tree all my life every year with the exception of the first four years I have been AZ. No tree has ever died so quickly. I have had live trees that I was able to keep until mid Jan and still be in good condition. When you call Lowe's to discuss the issue they have no apologetic attitude, they just want to rush you off the phone. So now I cannot turn the lights on the tree to avoid a possible fire and the tree may not make it to Christmas. SMH. Just needed to vent. read more

Don't purchase a Lowes appliance protection plan!!! Lowes said they will repair or replace the appliance. That's a big fat lie. May 2024 they came out to diagnose my Whirlpool washer because I received a code and they replaced control board. June 17th. 2024same issue but two more codes. Tech said they are basically rebuilding machine and have to order parts. Took several weeks to get parts. A couple weeks later tech came to rebuild washer with new parts. Next day went to do laundry and got same code and machine will not turn on. A week later and we are still waiting on appointment for repair technician with no scheduled appointment. Called repair company and Lowe's protection warranty and have gotten no where. It's going on two months and still no resolution. read more

Hey shoutout to the nimrods in Flooring/tile that 1) told me they had absolutely NO 12" slate tile in the store until I showed them the Lowes app showing the product in aisle 37. Now and behold they walked me to the end of the aisle and there were multiple boxes, half price even. Then 2) I asked them where I could find exteriors mortar. "Oh we don't have any of that in the store you have to order it online". Stupid me, I didn't check the app after he said that. I had my baby with me and couldn't afford to waste time. Lo and behold, I get home and later check the lowes app. Sure enough, not only do they have exterior mortar for stone tile in the store I was at (Goodyear), there were multiple brands and lots of it in stock! I could just spit. I'm a single foster mom and have no time to spend being jerked around by Lowe's employees who are to goddamned lazy to help customers (look things up for instance?!). They just stand there and tell people to order things online?? Pretty ticked off as you can tell. Failed to receive delivery So the wife and I ordered $500 worth of landscaping products to be delivered today between 12 and 4. Yet, no delivery. Call in and was told that the computer shows delivery time between 1 and 5. Still no delivery. Call in again. Delivery phone is closed. Beware before buying any appliances from Lowes. They have a 48 hour guarantee only. I bought a dishwasher and found a lot of water inside and a warped front panel. I called the store and they said bring it in and we'll exchange it. When I got to the store the cashier started the exchange process but then told me that the manager had to sign off first. A scruffy guy covered with tattoos showed up and identified himself as the manager of the store and said they could not help me because of the 48 hour rule. The manager could clearly see the problems with the unit and he indicated that was not his problem. I had to load it back into my truck and bring it home. I now have to call the manufacturer for warranty service and we all know how that will go. read more
