Every time I come in, I get a genuine sense that the workers enjoy what they do, and are actually happy to help customers with their paint needs. They are exceptional at answering any paint-related questions you have and don't make you feel rushed while you're trying to make your selections. What compelled me to write this review is the fact that there was a HANDMADE Christmas tree made from paint swatches/squares and specks of paint on the gallon can I was picking up. Completely unnecessary and unexpected but it restored my faith in humanity. Let me say that again: My faith in humanity was restored shopping at a paint store. Shop here.

With boredom now top of mind, it poses the question: what do you really want from a paint store? My answer is below. For me, no small talk, no upsell, not too much other than paint on the shelves, that's what I want and that's what I got. After handing over a few paint chips that I peeled from the outside wall of my house, the guys behind the counter were quick to help me out. Before I knew it they had disappeared to the back only to resurface with three gallons of the paint that I needed. In and out, very quickly, very happy. Sherwin-Williams, you have done your part, now let's hope my painter doesn't f#ck the whole job up.

Not only did they do a wonderful job painting, they also repaired a large amount stucco/etc. issues beforehand, which I feel makes them different from other painting companies I looked at. They were very open to redoing things that I didn't feel were done quite right and came back several times to do touch-ups, which was greatly appreciated. They didn't make me feel like I was bothering them, it seems like a normal part of how they operate. We really enjoyed working with our foreman Ernesto, who was extremely responsive to our questions and concerns and made sure we were 100% happy with the work. Their office staff, Leah and Bree, were also very responsive and helpful in getting things scheduled. They were not the cheapest quote we got, but hey, you get what you pay for. With all the prep work and carpentry that had to be done for our house, I am very happy we went with King of the Painters.
