If you're looking for a hawaiian print moo-moo, some pj-teddy-bear-plaid-print scrubs or a dressy black t-shirt with sequined mannequins on the front, covered by a holy shawl, then God commandeth thee to enter (revelations 3:50 pm.) what else can you ask for in terms of edgy, chic, sophisticate? oh yeah and then there was also a bunch of other antique-ish looking items like purses, clutch wallets and bamboo slippers. or maybe they looked antique because they had tarantula webs covering them or maybe it was because bamboo is an extinct product and now they'll have to go to other endangered clothing material like petrol. if you want to find out what other kinds of buried treasures there are in the store, you're gonna have to see it for yourself. oh yeah, i won't tell you how much things cost either because 1) you have to find the buried treasures yourself, 2) that's part of the fun of shopping and 3) i didn't go into the store. i know what this store's "fashion secret" is ... ugly clothes.

We used to buy this stuff for my grandma from overseas but when I saw it displayed in this little store I was like cool. Now we don't have to fly across the globe to purchase this for grandma. I bought a set for her which came to $25 even. It's made in Korea like all the stuff in this man's store, but the shopkeeper is not Korean, he's Chinese. What cracked me up was the fact that it says everything is 100% cotton, but when you look at the label sewn onto the stuff itself, it says 87% cotton, 13% nylon.

It's awesome that this place also has a bunch of games and specific game rooms if you wanted privacy. My friends and I come here to play games, color, or just hang out! We made appointments online to reserve two spots for tufting. Upon coming in for our appointments we had to wait about 20 minutes for them to set up. Upon setting up, they have to do a little class session to teach you how to use the tufting gun. After that it was smooth sailing. My friend and I choose the mini frame tufting at $75 a piece. We chose our picture and sketched it onto our canvas and was able to start tufting. The staff is there to help answer your questions and to give you tips. After you're done they help glue the backing of your rug but I didn't see them seal the back of it with any product other than a fabric to keep everything together. With that being said, if you're making a big rug idk how safe it'll be if you were to wash/vacuum it. Just putting that out there. Other then that, it was a fun and therapeutic experience. We spent about three hours on our pieces. If you make reservations make sure to plan accordingly as it is a longer activity especially if you like to take your time.

Duo Duo Snacks = Asian Snack Heaven! Okayyy, this place is basically dangerous for anyone who loves snacks ! I stopped by Duo Duo Snacks and immediately realized I could probably spend an entire afternoon here just wandering around and looking at everything. They carry a HUGE variety of snacks and goodies from all over Asia, so if you've ever wanted to explore Asian snacks without actually having to book a flight to each country... this is your spot! They have everything from sweet and savory snacks, chips, candies, cookies, instant noodles, drinks, and all kinds of fun treats, plus skincare and other little goodies. There were SO many things to look at that it was honestly a little overwhelming--in the best way possible! I had to practice some serious self-control because I could've easily walked out with half the store. Thankfully, I only picked up a few things because we're over here trying to save some calories LOL. And how cute is it that they even offer a $0.20 reusable cloth bag?! Such a fun little touch, especially when you're grabbing a bunch of goodies. If you're curious about what snacks are popular throughout Asia but don't want to travel country-to-country just to try them, Duo Duo Snacks is basically your shortcut! I have had nothing but great experiences at DuoDuo Snacks! The customer service here is top notch- the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help with questions you have. They will help you to find a specific product or recommend you with their best sellers-- they really exceed the expectations. Before I went I did see some reviews on IG and Tik Tok saying that some products are expired. But upon checking with DuoDuo's staff, it turned out some of the snacks came from Asia, and it usaully shows a manufacture date along with a shelf life instead of the "best before" date we are used to seeing in the U.S. After the explaination from their staff, I felt the initial concern was a misunderstanding after all. I really enjoyed all the snacks and food and there's no issue with freshness whatsoever. I would probably come back and revisit next week, the product selection to the blind box toys are so FIRE!!!! read more

Currently shopping here for the first time, and I'm honestly impressed! This place is so much fun to walk around. They have a huge variety of Asian snacks and drinks that you don't typically find at a regular Asian grocery store. There are so many unique items to browse, and it was hard not to keep adding things to our basket! They also have claw machines, which made the visit even more fun. We originally stopped by just to kill some time while waiting for our dinner reservation, but we ended up leaving with a bunch of snacks. I'll definitely be coming back, and I also found out they have another location in Temple City that I can't wait to check out. They use big industrial fans to help circulate the air. So I would not recommend coming here when it's hot outside. Prices here are definitely cheaper than what you would find in a typical Asian Supermarket. You don't need any type of membership to shop here. It's open to the public. Though, there was a 10% off if you signed up for their loyalty membership. I didn't because it took me to a site that was all in Chinese. We ended up walking the entire warehouse and my mom ended up spending over $200 and found her favorite brand of rice AA that has eluded her for months now.

This was THE place to go to and get dropped off at or take the bus and walk to when I was in high school/early college before I was able to drive. I'm going to out myself as a fossil, but do you remember Life Plaza? Genki Living? Cue? Arcade Infinity? We really had it all back then. I'm even mourning the loss of our Cocoichibanya to this day that used to exist here. So many great businesses that have come and gone and so many years of my life spent here, great memories, sad memories, and memories with people who are no longer in my life. When I had to live in the horrific midwest, I would await the day I get to visit Diamond Plaza again. But that's just rose colored glasses. Yes, lots of businesses and some really good eateries have come and gone (crazy that Gen and Ten Ren's got eliminated), but now the plaza is SUPER FISTED. Probably due to the Chubby Cattle and the popularity of the other places to grab dinner and go to the Duo Duo Snacks. I used to be able to finesse parking in the back area or to the side near the freeway, but now you have to circle around much more often and the parking pit can't guarantee anything to you. Alongside parking being a PvP zone and no regard for human life, you gotta really watch yourself. I'm glad Sul and Beans is still around and that regardless of all the changes, you can always guarantee that there's good food here. Big fan of the Duo Duo Snacks, and it's nice that there's an anime store here (though the prices are a bit high and it's filled with mostly shonen slop).

Parking is plenty in the underground with 2 levels, but there's also a large parking lot just on ground level. There's also a Tesla charging station here which is convenient and since it's far from the stores there's also more parking available the farther you are.

During a particularly busy night, I've even seen shattered glass from a car that was broken into despite there being so many cars and people around, so be careful! As for value, there's a good chunk of casual eats and treats here (currently) that aren't too pricy like the new Chinese snack shop, Matcha Maiko, Honu Hawaiian, and Boba Ave 8090, and some slightly nicer eats like Sushi Rev and Yumiyaki (soon another Chubby Cattle Empire restaurant is joining this plaza). There's Korean tofu soup, Thai food, ice cream, congee, skewers, lots of businesses open later at night, and a little bit of shopping. Lots of memories made here.

There's a BoA ATM right at the front and there's some other businesses in this H Mart too. I LOVE DELI MANJOO and their little sweet corn sponge cake and taiyaki. I have never seen this at other H Mart locations so that makes this unique. There's also Tous les Jours, luxury K beauty storefront, Kimbap shop, savory foods, and some of these businesses keep swapping out and changing. RIP Cheesetella. Good selection of produce and meats. Love the deli area with lots of kimchi and banchan that you can get to go. Seafood section is really fresh and you can get sashimi there as well. I'm a fan of the snacks area and instant noodles and on the weekends they have samples sometimes. Prices can vary, usually not too bad, but with so many Chinese markets that now offer a lot of the same instant noodles (my main thing to purchase), it ight be best to compare and shop around.
