I am on a two week 4700 miles ride and on my 2nd day my hydraulic clutch went south. I was 100 miles southeast of Durango in the middle of nowhere when I put a call into the shop. Told me to ride it in and they would take care of it. Turns out I had old fluids and had air bubbles in the lines. Took care of it and 90 minutes later I was back on the road! I rolled in last minute needing suspension dialed in on my 2024 CVO ST, and these guys absolutely delivered. Kris, the service writer, was on point from check-in to follow-up, and Tyrell -- the tech behind the wrench -- crushed it. After their fine-tuning, I smashed out 1,270 miles, ripped through some of the best switchbacks the Rockies have to offer, and the bike felt planted, responsive, and smooth the whole way. The service manager was leery about having a tire in stock and having one of his techs even work on it. He couldn't have been more accomadating and his tech was up to the task. I want to thank Durango Harley Davidson for being real pros. We picked up our rental bikes on Saturday, the biggest day of the Four Corners Motorcycle Rally that they sponsor. In the middle of all the packed on site events Mary got us set up on our Harleys explained everything and had us out riding in no time. She recommended the perfect restaurant in town and went above and beyond in attitude, knowledge and customer service. Trevor Bird, the owner and general manager runs a great shop and you can tell he cares about his customers and his business. The first new Harley I purchased was a 1978 Super Glide 1200 shovel head. I bought it at a small town dealership in Oklahoma and the experience and service was great, it's one of the things I remember most about owing that bike. I can't think of a better small town dealership to buy at now than Durango Harley. read more

My husband and I rode our bike from IA to Colorado last week on vacation. We had a 3 night stay in Durango so we could ride the train. Decided to check out the Harley shop. What a total disappointment. There were no other customers in the store. My husband had some questions for the service department and I was looking at the clothes. Not one person even acknowledged us at all. We wandered around and around and no one came out and asked if we needed any help or even bothered to say hi. The 2 girls chatting and laughing behind the counter acted like I was invisible. Needless to say, after about 20 minutes without anyone even looking at us, we walked out without making any purchases. First, I do apologize it took so long to post our review. We can't say enough about this dealership. They went way over & beyond our expectations. From the min that we arrived & left the store, they were so friendly, helpful & welcoming. We have visited several Harley shops & this one stands out above them all. We had to go back the next morning to resolve a small situation with our purchase & they took great care of us and got us out the door with no extra charge to us. Then, walked across the parking lot to a great restaurant that treated us the same. We will definitely be back & highly recommend that u don't go thru Durango without stopping in. One of the riders with us ended up wearing his front tire down to the cords. We tried to go to Durango HD on a Monday morning, since they were the only place open. They turned us away because it wasn't a Harley (It was a Star Motorcycle), even though they had the right tire and it was a spoked wheel just like a Harley. I found it appalling that they sent him away on a major safety concern and did nothing to try to help. This behavior reinforces the HD metality and continues to make me never want to buy their bikes! We ended up going to a small independent shop in Ignacio. Had the tire blown we would have been at a funeral and Durango HD would be seeing us in court. read more

Drove into Durango from Albuquerque, NM and pulled up right at 6 closing time! The service manager and Shane greeted me and were wiling to help me out! I quickly let them know what was going on with my bike, they put air in my tires and trouble shot it a bit...They were super friendly and helpful despite the fact that I rolled up at closing time! The mgt\sales people are extremely friendly when you spend more than $150 in apparel. Very Beautifully located over the river with Couple picnic possibilities along the Bicycle trail also behind store or the lg area DHD obviously hold their events. I even parked my Truck unloaded the Mtn Bike took a ride on the path and discovered a BMX track approx~1.1 miles away. So load All your two wheel toys onto the trailer and chk the place out. I hope you ll be treated As nice Probably would have given them 5 stars if they realized it was out of season for campgrounds and they offered their lower parking lot to me to park my 26' Coachman till Mañana. Spencer was beyond patient with me when I bought my Iron 883 two weeks ago. I've been looking at this bike for well over two years now and I was still hesitant to make it mine. We came to Colorado for the Memorial weekend in Durango, hoping to hit the Harley stores in the area. We went to the Silverton store while on the train ride, and the guy there was super helpful. He said the Durango location had tons of hats (one of the things I wanted) and we planned the Durango store either Sunday or Monday on the way out of town. Online searches (and phone calls) on Saturday showed this one was closed on Sunday but open Monday with no mention of the holiday hours. We went to the store on Monday around 11am expecting them to be open, but it was closed. I was disappointed because I feel there should have been some notice online/phone message that there was a holiday hours change. I have always been happy with any HD store I've been to, and I'm sure this was a really great place as well... I was just bummed there wasn't clarity in the holiday hours. I'm giving it 3 stars because of HD reputation, clean parking lot, really great outside appearance otherwise..but would love to have given it 5 for service and availability of product. read more

I want to start by saying I'm not a personal friend of ANYONE at Durango Harley. I've purchased many bikes over the last 20 years and yet this is my first Harley. I've been in the business world most of my life (after college) and been both in sales and purchasing. I am employed by a Durango company who made Outside Magazines top 100 places to work (2015) and am an employee owner of said company. That being said we are a global company built and raised here in Durango. We are a global company built almost entirely on the level of service we provide to our customers throughout the world so I feel I know just a little something about "customer service" and treating people right. I recently purchased a brand new 2015 HD Sportster 48' and am ABSOLUTELY blown away with the service that Durango HD has provided me. These guys and gals have gone above and beyond to not only make this deal happen but afterwards. Offering to even pick up my bike and/or give me a lift during my work schedule to install some aftermarket items. This is a deal with a level of service I've rarely seen in this day and age and they are not only true to their HD roots, they are a tried and true Durango company maintaining a small town feel when it's easy to let that go for the sake of a quick sale. Outstanding people all the way to the front counter gals, service guys, and a sales staff second to NONE. To the previous Yelp reviewer I'd second the fact that if your tire was that damaged you shouldn't have ridden all that way (dangerous) and then expect to pull up to a franchise dealer (as all HD dealers are) and expect service on that bike. It's extremely expensive $125K + just to buy into a franchise and they do have rules to follow. I question whether they "sent you on your way" as just today I dropped off my bike to have some more aftermarket installs and was told their shop was booked up today so they could focus on an out of town rider (Ohio I think) who rode in with a large group and needed to get back on the road. They dedicated their staff and service department to get a fellow rider back on the road. THAT is service and I'll gladly pick up my bike another day. Thank you Durango HD...This one will be paid off as fast as possible and I'm already eyeing my next ride. When you walk in and see the "Golden Level Service" stickers on the door (I think that's what it is called) you should do some homework. They don't give those out. I will not buy a bike, parts, or service elsewhere. read more
