Baja Fish Tacos
Gino M.

Came in on a Taco Tuesday night and I ordered 3 Baja Fish Tacos and it's one of the better places I've ordered fish tacos from. I live about 10-15 minutes from here and order them to go and by the time I got home, the fish was still nice and crispy! Another thing I actually really liked about their fish tacos were that fried their tortillas as well, pair that with the fresh crunch cabbage and the crispy but soft on the inside, it just made for a really good taco throughout. They topped it off with a smoky chipotle ranch and some crema which made the whole taco completely. Honestly a really good eat! The service was pretty fast and I was able to get in and out fast. I'm going to have to come back and try some of their other tacos now!

Love this place! Asada tacos are delicious! Always freshly made and fresh condiments always available. Service is great with very short wait times. A little small inside so you may want to get your order to go.

CHURRO SUNDAE

I stopped by to check out the menu since I was in the shopping center. I went in on taco Tuesday and they're special were $2 tacos. They offered Al pastor, carnitas and chicken. I got chicken tacos, an elote and churro sundae. It was such a good deal. The chicken tacos were flavorful and delicious. I will for sure come back to try more food items. The salad are spicy and very good. Elote was juicy and flavorful. It had the right amount of mayo and chili powder. The sundae was such a sweet treat. The staff was very nice and helpful. I noticed that most orders are to go since it's a small restaurant. Highly recommend!

California burrito and bean and cheese burrito in wrappers, for size.

Excellent food. High quality tortillas. Staff was very kind and welcoming. The California burrito was HUGE and elote was fire. Tiny salsa cups though. lol

The quality I feel has changed, tacos are a little on the greasy side. They always provide great service. Great value for the portions.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

no sorry about your condition though

Are there vegan items offered?

Pre made burritos stored in the fridge and not heated up when you buy it. Does that say enough

No lie, this specific location is probably the biggest cash cow on the strip racking in millions of dollars. I love their highly popular Al pastor meat; its crisp edges and tender texture makes it the best. It has just enough sweetness from the pineapple but not too sweet. The creamy green/white sauce poured on top is EVERYTHING! It tastes perfect. I have to have 6 tacos ($4) each every time. Pair these tacos with a plate of grilled onions and jalapeños too! The business comes in waves but notice the early afternoons are the lightest with a quick wait time. If you come at night/late night, the wait time standing can be about 25 mins even. Tacos El Gordo is THE ONE!!

I had the mahi mahi tacos and they were too much for me, in part because they came with three sides, all delicious. My husband had the carne asada quesadilla and enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I tried the lime margarita, also excellent, and we couldn't leave without trying the churros for dessert. The ambience is lovely, with gorgeous decor, comfortable booths, and an excellent Hispanic music playlist. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Big shoutout to our server, Brandy, who knew just when to replace the lemonade, and suggested the excellent street corn. We will be back very soon!

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

It was honestly some of the blandest Mexican food I've had, and nothing we ordered really stood out. It also felt a bit like a tourist trap. A simple frozen margarita was around $20, and the menu seemed pretty limited. I've since heard they're mostly known for their giant tortas, so maybe that's what they're best at. The service was fine, but the overall ambiance felt a little off. There was also a noticeable smell throughout the restaurant that made it seem like there might be plumbing issues. Sadly, the nostalgia wasn't enough to make up for the food, and I don't see myself coming back.
