This is pretty convenient spot inside the matket. The food is really tasty, we frequent this little shop when in crave for korean food, avoid that grilling lol...the ladies that works are very nice and fast. You can go grocery while you wait or after, like I said the food is delicious probably better than those big korean bbq. Come and taste for yourselves

This is my favorite sullungtang restaurant hands down. I personally like the deep rich favor that can only happen when it's done the right way which is slow cooking the bone overnight right down to the marrow. I've eaten at many sullungtang places including the now popular Sun Nong Dan, but their food is bland, side dishes very boring, and prices have gone up. I guess that's what happens when fame gets to your head and fewer Koreans stop eating there. To me it all comes down to the side dishes which all sullungtang places must serve but every place is different. At Duri Snack you will always get a vivid array of banchan that's both tarty and spicy to compliment that silky white broth.

It's very rare for me to write about any experience I enjoy but this one place is home away from home. Their regional taste buds are so close to how my mother cooked for my father; I reluctantly say this place is awesome. No, not because I know what's good food. I'm no Jonathan Gold. I just know what comfort Korean food is like. I don't want you to know about it, but the food is simple and amazing. Inexpensive and authentic; my favorites soup Spicy Beef Soup #7

I always shop at Greenland, but have never eaten in the "food court." I was starving so I decided to give this place a try. Here's the short and sweet. My meal was delicious and it was relatively cheap for Korean food. The service is slow and the ladies behind the counter will pay no attention to you unless you're Korean, but whatever. I'll have to try some other dishes the next time around.

First similarity, there isn't a parking lot and street parking is competitive. Food quality matches any average Korean spot; sort of like what you would get at a food court in Koreatown. It is pricey for Korean food, so go for their combo deals. That'll make the cost per food worth it. The store is very modern and feels a little industrial. You go in, sit down and order off a screen. The food comes out when it's ready. There's very little interaction with other people unless you plan a group lunch. It reminds me of some Japanese restaurants that service those not interested in to talking to people while they eat. They just want a quick service, eat some food and leave. If this was a place in Koreatown, I'd probably give it a 3 star, but considering that it's in the valley, I'm upping it to 4. There just aren't enough places in the valley that serve food of this quality. I'm calling this average Korean food, but it beats other Korean restaurants in the valley by a mile. I'm talking about those places that service food you can get from Costco (Bibigo and the like) or Trader Joe's. The valley needs to more places that serve actual Korean food.

When we first entered, there was a sign that said 15% gratuity will be added to every table. It is easy to miss so it'll be good to be aware of that so you're not surprised later. All the workers were attentive and nicer Meat was also good quality. The only downside was how salty everything was. The side dishes were salty and the soups were ordered were also salty. The soybean soup was salty to the point we had to ask them to take it back. There was radish soup...which tasted exactly like radish in water...that wasn't salty so we had to mix the leek soup with the radish soup to make it less salty but overall...everything was salty. It's a kbbq place so as long as the meat is good I think we're good. Just be warned that aside from the meat, the food can be a bit salty.

My coworkers ordered the Chicken Gangjeong in both the Soy Garlic and Sweet & Spicy flavors. I only had a bite of each, but both were juicy and seemed to be made with dark meat chicken. The Soy Garlic was actually sweeter than the Sweet & Spicy, which caught me off guard, while the Sweet & Spicy had more of a mild heat than an overwhelming kick. I ordered the Grandma Tteokbokki at spice level 2 and added melted cheese and ramen. Those add-ons were absolutely worth it. The cheese made the sauce extra creamy, while the ramen soaked up all of the flavor and turned it into a hearty, comforting meal. Spice level 2 had a nice kick without overpowering the dish, making it easy to enjoy from start to finish. Overall, everything we tried was satisfying, and I'd happily come back to work my way through more of the menu. If you're ordering the tteokbokki, I definitely recommend adding the cheese and ramen--you won't regret it.

Adding ramen and cheese is a must! The cashier was also really nice. Even though he was new, he was able to answer all of our questions and provided excellent service. The restaurant was super clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back the next time we make a trip to SoCal!
