I used to live in OC where the KBBQ was endless and too good. Since moving back to LA, I've struggled finding a KBBQ that I enjoy near me- but this one is my top vote so far. Less than 15 minutes from me. We went for a very early dinner around 4:30 PM and the service was great. We got the lowest option which was perfect and had everything we needed. I even got a steamed egg. I continuously asked for more kimchi, rice paper, and glass noodles, SO YUMMY. The meat was delicious and the portions were very reasonable. Great parking too The table is perfect for KBBQ. Good space and the grill was good too (I don't like it when KBBQ places have inefficient grills haha). The music was loud enough so you can just talk your head off, and I wasn't overstimulated by too much going on lol. Can't wait to bring friends

    Banchan was yummmy 1/22/26

Service is fast and friendly (grill changes were often and speedy), meat and banchan are yummy, and parking lot is spacious (much better than the one in Northridge)!! Affordable compared to other KBBQ spots in the valley. Favorite meats include the rib finger, tongue, brisket, and beef belly. Soondubu and other soups were okay. steamed egg was yummyyy. corn cheese was aight. The kimchi, japchae, and cucumber kimchi are also a fave. Also fishcake! They brought out banchan often, when they saw our favorites were out. I like how they bring out a big bowl of rice for everyone to share as opposed to individual bowls. My only wish is that they had a larger table but they took our empty plates quickly.

Came on a Wednesday night and were seated immediately. It was our first time here, and we chose Option B ($35 per person). The banchan was fresh and tasty. We ordered the brisket, beef belly, streak, seafood, and prime beef (highly recommend the prime beef as it had great flavor) Overall, all the meats were good. For dessert, we had the cheesecake and mango sorbet, but both came out extremely frozen, making them difficult to eat at first. Once they softened, they were yummy, especially the mango sorbet. Service was good, and there was plenty of parking. We would come back if we're in the area.

Incredible! I was here just last night celebrating my acceptance to Csun with my classmates. The food was great, and the service was attentive. I enjoyed every bit of the vibe. I will certainly be coming back when I have more time and money to spare! Thank you.

The ambiance is pretty huge and they have plenty of space to sit people. The service was okay, I was hoping for my server to come a little more often than the usual. The food was amazing but the gratuity on our bill without consent was a bit too much. Just be prepared for that extra charge. I would love to come again if it wasn't for the gratuity, I think it should be up to the client to put how much tip they will like to give. Overall the food is amazing and very well seasoned but will not come again because of the added charge. Thank you for serving me and I enjoyed the delicious food.

Arrived about 1.5 hours before closing so no wait! Great banchans. Quick friendly service. Beef belly was so good! Rib fingers were a nice treat. Meat quality is there. Tofu soup was really good too. Clean tables. Attentive servers. Great food. What more can one want. Will be back again I'm sure!

Really enjoyed this all you can eat Korean bbq in the valley. We had this place when it was a different name. This place was remodeled and the food and service were great. Feels like a family run restaurant and they make you feel welcome. The meats were very good. Definitely try it out.

Date: September 11, 2025 This date is a bit date for the world but it's also a special day for hubs and I as it's our anniversary. To celebrate our 5th year, we both wanted some meat so yelped around and found this one and we were not disappointed at all! First of, it's SO cheap!! 34.95$ for dinner for Ayce? Down!!! The food itself was good but very bland, however service was 1000000!!!! Everyone needs to learn from this place about hospitality! Before we could even set the plate down, someone was on their way to pick it up. The second we ordered a meat, it was delivered the next second. Everyone was SOO friendly and you could definitely tell they had regulars because of how they chatted and greeted them. We had such an amazing time and they were so nice to our babies as well. Most ayce places despise kids but they were playing with them, and even offered to carry our baby!! Thank you guys for an amazing first visit! We will def be back again!!!

DELICIOUS! Before I talk how tasty the food is, shout out to the awesome staff that works here! Super kind and attentive. The all you can eat is $34 per person which is reasonable in this economy. The food is tasty and well seasoned and well marinated. The restaurant is clean and a modern feel to it and there's ample parking. Definitely recommend

What a great little kbbq spot hidden right in Lake Balboa! You would absolutely miss this place driving by. Service here was excellent! We felt so taken care of and the staff was so kind. Absolutely LOVED the bulgogi. Great flavor! The pork belly wasn't the best I've ever had, but I still very much enjoyed it. Their kimchi is also BOMB. They have both AYCE and a la carte items, but it's more worth it to do the AYCE. It's about $34 a person. Plenty of parking available! We went on Christmas Eve so I don't know how crowded it typically gets. Clean restaurant and it was nicely decorated for the holidays. Would love to return!

Parking: This location shares parking with nearby businesses. Parking has never been an issue. Parking is mid. 2.5 stars. Staff: The workers were polite and seemed unbothered by the massive amounts of meat I ordered. Everyone they would bring it with a smile. Stopped by my table many times to ask if I needed anything additional. 5 stars. Food: I've been here a couple times now and can say the food is consistently Delicious! Soooo good. Bulgogi was my favorite. 5 stars. Bathrooms: They were clean and everything worked. 4 stars. Ambiance: Not too loud and not too quiet. They have tv with k-pop music videos playing, which is fun. Easy to have conversations. Indoor seating is great for groups of 4 and they have larger tables in the back for parties. 4 stars. Overall: I like this place a lot, might be one of my top 10 favorite restaurants. I will definitely be back. This is a good place for meals with dates, family, and friends. Whenever my friends finally decide to come visit, I will definitely be taking them here. I'm waiting.. come! (2.5+5+5+4+4)/5 = 4.1 stars.

Absolutely amazing. The customer service was very friendly and the gentleman explained to me that they are redoing the inside seating and that there would be many tables inside. Unfortunately, it was another disappointment. To be fair, they were busy, and I understand that a full restaurant can put pressure on both the kitchen and the front-of-house staff. But being busy should never be an excuse for poor food quality, inconsistent service, or a lack of standards. We ordered the beef ribs, pork spareribs, and brisket. The portions were definitely generous, but the quality was simply not there. The brisket looked like it had been pre-sliced and left sitting in a pool of grease and juices. (as I asked the Server she did confirm this was true. ) It fell apart, yes, but not in the way great brisket should. It lacked the richness, balance, and true smoked flavor that good barbecue is known for. Instead of tasting freshly sliced and properly held, it felt tired and over-rested. The beef ribs were tough, and the pork spareribs were extremely dry almost like chewing on cardboard. That was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. For a place that has built its identity around barbecue, there was very little real smoke flavor in the meats. That alone says a lot. The barbecue sauce had decent flavor, although it was a bit runny for my taste. The barbecue beans, on the other hand, were actually delicious and one of the few highlights of the meal. Then there was the bread. We were told it was "half a loaf," but it was really just a very small piece, closer to the size of a bun. On top of that, the bottom was soggy, like it had been sitting too long on a steam table or in trapped moisture. The service was slow. The girls working were clearly busy and trying, but it did not feel like anyone was guiding them with real standards of service or hospitality. There is a difference between being overwhelmed and being untrained, and this felt more like a lack of leadership and structure. I also asked to speak with the chef. One server told me she would go get him and that he was there. Then another server said he was not there. That kind of inconsistency only added to the frustration and made the whole experience feel even less professional. I respect that this restaurant has been around since 1969, and longevity does mean something. But being around a long time does not automatically make a place great. In my opinion, they should not be pushing the idea that they are among the best barbecue spots in the country, because based on this experience, that is nowhere near reality. This is not even close to the quality standard of a true Texas barbecue spot. I was also disappointed by the overall condition and cleanliness of the property. I understand the idea of maintaining an old-school feel, but there is a line between rustic charm and an environment that simply does not feel sanitary or well-kept. To me, it felt like the latter. What makes this experience especially disappointing is that they clearly have the history, the name, and likely the resources to do much better. I do not mind paying for quality, but I do mind paying for quantity when the quality is missing. That is exactly what this felt like. I sincerely wish them continued success, but we will not be coming back.

The jambalaya and gumbo were the best items I ordered today (11/11). I will definitely order these again. They were the best I ever tasted. Perfectly seasoned with high-quality meats, and very good. It's the best I've ever tasted. I've only had commercialized gumbo and jambalaya at chain restaurants. I didn't order any grilled meats. I anticipate the grilled meats being tasty because I tasted some of the meat in my gumbo and jambalaya at it was good and cooked to perfection. The sides were disappointing and I will not order again: Mac and Cheese: A little dry. Too much salt, too much unmelted cheese. Lacked a creamy inside. The bottom and top were just globs of unmelted cheese. Will not order again. Collard Greens: Tasted bland as if from a can. Mixed with spinach and mainly tasted like spinach. Will not order again. I added the greens to my gumbo so I didn't waste them. Let's be clear, the greens weren't horrible. I grew up picking and eating freshly picked collards so I have high standards for greens. Red Beans & Rice: Beans were cold and tasted like they were from a can. Not the Louisiana red beans and rice I was expecting at all. Rice was undercooked with a slight crunch. I added the rice to my gumbo when I reheated it on the stove. I will figure out what to do with the beans. Customer service was good. The lady was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure every customer was taken care of. She even gave out peanut butter cookies while we waited. Bring your patience as this is a small-scale (lean) food-service establishment. I spent $30 for 2 half orders of gumbo and jambalaya ($10 each), and 3 sides. I probably could have saved a few dollars if I ordered a veggie plate. It was a little pricey for the portion sizes. I charge it to the gumbo and jambalaya which was $10 each and served in 8oz containers. I usually pay $8 for 12oz or 16oz of soup. On a positive note, I got to sample the menu. I know what I like and don't like. I don't expect to like every menu item at any restaurant. Bottomline, I will go again.
