I came here yesterday for an impromtu casual dinner with my mom, dad, and favorite sister. (I only have one but I like to call her my favorite because I feel like it makes her feel more special) Seoul Tofu House is located in the Galleria's food court. I love coming to this place because on a chilly day like yesterday a nice warm Korean soup sooths the soul like no other. I was scimming through their picture display of various soup and saw that they had the Korean Goat Stew that I crave from time to time. I saw it and I knew instantly that was what I wanted to order. I also ordered their combo #3 that came with a large plate of bulgogi and Soon Tofu soup with a bowl of rice and banchan (side dishes) TO-GO for my husband. The food came out fairly quickly under 15 minutes and the soup that I ate in the food court was so satiatying to the soul. This is my go to place for a last minute dining out with minimal fuss situation kind of place where I know they have delicious Korean dishes that you can access in an instant. So naturally it was the perfect place to meet up to grab early dinner with my favorite sister and parents. Nom, nom, nom.

To go - Bulgogi and Tofu Stew Combo

Ordered for delivery and flavors were bold and tasty. I like the fact that they have a combo with bulgogi and tofu soup to satisfy both cravings. Both had pretty good portions. Also ordered the spicy beef tofu soup with glass noodles. This was my only complaint that the noodles were not really cooked even after placing in the hot soup they still didn't soften too much. Food was delicious and would definitely add to the delivery dinner rotation.

We usually order them through Uber eats for the soon tofu & bibimbap. Overall solid. However I'm not a fan of their Astra mackerel, the fish was way too salty. Kind of ruined the dish. Might as well call it salty fish.

    Barley bibimbap

Review is strictly for their barley bibimbap that they only offer during summer! Their barley bibimbap comes w half barley half rice, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, yeolmu kimchi, and my favorite chrysanthemum! It looks plain and simple, but during the summers in the valley when it's so hot, this is the most refreshing dish to eat. I wish they would offer this year round because I have yet to find another restaurant that serves this :( *tip: can still sub for barley in other dishes during non summer times!

I walked into the food court first to get some brunch because I was super hungry when I wake up in the morning. I asked for directions, showed a picture to this lady to show me where I can get the foodie I found on Yelp..There was a dad and daughter in front of me while I was waiting for my turn! I told the guy I was allergic go Shrimp and he gave me Snow Crab instead it was at the bottom of the boiling hot bowl...the food was sooo hot and fresh just how I like it and I ate everything just about the price was very reasonable. Wat a beautiful surprise. There was chunks of beef in the seafood tofu soup. I got Combo #3. After paying they give you this pager that vibrates when you food is ready to be picked up. If your thirsty they have water machines a bunch of them you can choose cold or hot water self serve!!!! I highly recommend this place!!!!!!

Have been coming to this place for more this decade. Always love their bulgogi set, and the tofu soup. Never failed! Staff are friendly too.

Hot Stone Bibimbap with Tofu Stew
    Anson W.

Seoul Tofu House is a decent choice amidst a sea of options at the Galleria Food Court. The varied menu here includes stew, grilled meat, bibimbap and more. I decided on the Hot Stone Bibimbap with Tofu Stew ($12.99). The amount of food was decent for the price. The rice in my bibimbap was nice and crispy, and there was a good amount of ingredients, all topped with a fried egg. The flavor of the tofu stew was a little plain but still enjoyable. The stew had one clam, one crab claw, a good amount of beef, and a lot of tofu. You're able to customize the stew's level of spiciness. Also included were two kinds of kimchi, potato salad, and a fried fish. The fried fish was the most enjoyable side item, but it had a million small bones and really made me work for my food. The food was good but not out of this world - a solid 3.5 stars, rounded up for value. I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something else on the menu.

Consistently good Korean comfort food. Tofu stew, bibimbop, bulgolgi and spicy pork are really good. Lots of options for the tofu stew.

They are stuffed with pork and Chinese and are absolutely delicious. We also got a half order of the Korean Fried Chicken. It was piping hot and very crispy. The kimchi steamed buns were next. They were large and very filling. Each bun was packed woth kimchi, pork and vegetables. We ended with sweet red bean steamed buns. These were also large and filling. A great way to finish our meal. Not super spicy, more sweet taste but insanely flavorful and addictive. We got a half order, which consisted of 1 wing, 1 drumstick, 1 thigh, 2 rib, 2 breast, costing $16.99. A whole order of chicken is $28.99. We would definitely order again. Dumplings are handmade fresh daily. You can literally taste the difference in every bite -- juicy fillings, delicate wrappers, and that perfect pleat. We tried: Dim Sum 10 pc $16.99 Korean style dumplings 8 pc $15.99 King Steamed Dumpling With Pork And Vegetables 4pc $15.99 Pan Fried Dumplings 10pc $16.99 My favorites were the Korean style dumplings and Pan Fried Dumplings. King Steamed Dumpling With Pork And Vegetables is huge, fluffy and bouncy. The taste of the filling was okay. The dim sum was a good size and looked pretty. Hard to pick up with chopsticks without the bottom breaking. The bottom was really delicate so using a spoon makes it easier. The Marinaded Beef $15.99 (half order) was perfect with rice. Complimentary small Sides: kimchi, pickled radish and cabbage salad. I really liked the pickled radish. This place is tucked away in a strip near the Northridge Promenade Shopping Center. Parking can be difficult during peak hours. Nyi had wonderful customer service.

I ordered the tofu soup with beef and had it medium spicy. The beef in the soup were small pieces of brisket rather than sliced beef like most tofu houses. The soup also had a good flavor to it without being overwhelmingly salty. I would come back just for this. This bulgogi was okay - slightly dry with little flavor. The bone broth soup was a hit. Light on flavor but sometimes that's what you want. It was served with lots of sliced beef. The tteok-bokki is not my favorite dish but everyone seemed to like it. Lots of sausage, thick pieces of sliced pork, and the cylinder shaped rice cakes topped with ramen. The sauce tastes like fancy ketchup to me. Definitely not my thing. The banchan was light with four small dishes but my favorites like kimchi and bean sprouts were there. I would definitely come back especially if I'm ever in the area.
