I came for the all-you-can-eat buffet, but the moment I walked in I was hit with extreme heat. With so many tabletop grills running, small restaurants like this heat up fast--but the problem here was that there was no real A/C. Just two blowers pointed toward the door, and one of them was blowing hot air directly onto me and my food. It wasn't cooling anything down. The whole place felt rundown. The meat cuts were terrible, the selection was limited, and nothing about the buffet felt worth the price. This was my first time eating here. When we walked in, no one greeted us, and we were left standing there trying to figure out whether it was self-seating or if we needed to wait to be seated. There weren't any signs to guide us, which made the start of the experience a little awkward. After we sat down, they brought out a meat dish with sides right away (a seasoned salad with jalapeños and onions). The sides were flavorful and enjoyable, but the meat itself wasn't seasoned -- it tasted very plain. It wasn't bad, just a bit boring compared to the sides. I personally would have preferred more seasoning. The biggest concern was the grills. Several of them were noticeably slanted, causing oil from the meat to spill out. That feels like a safety hazard and something that should definitely be fixed. Another downside was that tables didn't seem to get cleaned until new customers were waiting, and the payment process was confusing. Honestly, the only reason why I can see this business staying open is because of how cheap the prices are and how late they stay open. With minimal options you can get all you can eat for $22.99 or $26.99, I mean you can't really go wrong with cheap eats and for a lot of food. But the quality of the food and the cuts of the meat, to me are definitely subpar. I mean I guess it is local, to the San Fernando valley and don't need to drive far. The service was honestly not the best either. I honestly don't like the fact that they don't tell you that one of their sauces is a peanut sauce and they don't care about cross contamination especially with people who have severe allergies to nuts. The ambiance of the place gives off a hole in the wall and nothing too crazy about it. Overall, people go here because it's a cheap all you can eat restaurant. Ive been coming here for the past few years and this remains my favorite kbbq spot. I usually come at opening time and never have to worry about waiting for a seat. They start you off with brisket, a salad, a sauce, and onions and jalapeños, all which taste amazing! I also ask for salt and pepper, rice, and shoulder. The price is reasonable and food is great. Only downside is in the summer it can get pretty hot inside and parking lot is a bit small. read more

This is my fifth and final visit, and it was the worst. Throughout the entire process, no one came to greet us. They just stood motionless in front of the cash register. We had to raise our hands to get water or order more food. We understand that service might be slow when they're busy, but we were the only table there. Previously, there was no mandatory service charge, but now they're forcing an 18% tip. I'm willing to pay, but they didn't provide the service expected of a waiter. Then, when it came time to pay, they overcharged us by $20, and there was another option to add a tip. I don't understand this at all. Used to be a go to spot for me and my friends, was a cheaper lowkey kbbq spot. Lately I've been going and noticed the rise of people which is good but also seems as service is going down. There's a specific dude who always looks hammered, always has some sort of attitude. I used to go maybe once a month, and everyone was pretty attentive till these last few visits. Lately they would bring you a round then disappear til you flag someone down, -even not during a rush time. The prices have risen which is understandable but at times I feel like that specific server is trying to upcharge for any little thing I wouldn't really care but apparently he's the only one charging people. Like I said it's a cool little hole in the wall spot but watch out for dude. Meats are good but also not as many options like Ayce or gen which made it understandable that it was on the cheaper side. Dude, this was straight-up the strangest KBBQ establishment I've ever visited. First, before they even bring you a menu, the staff will deliver a massive plate of beef brisket to your table. Not knowing this, I initially thought the plate was misdelivered to our table and intended for a different table (until one of the staff members explained that they start EVERY table off with a plate of brisket). The next thing that surprised me - no banchan! No fish cake, no rice paper, no kimchi, no cucumbers, no potato salad, no seaweed, no bean sprouts, no jeon, no fish, no japchae. Instead, each diner gets an extremely large bowl of salad (which honestly wasn't bad) and a (thankfully) large dish of dipping sauce. Each table also gets a plate of sliced white onions and jalapenos. That's it - oddly, rice will incur extra charges (an extremely strange business decision, since getting people to fill up with rice *has to* be cheaper for the restaurant than filling them up with meat). Given that the demographics of the clientele present during my visit were decidedly non-Asian, something tells me that is why the banchan was non-existent. The lower-tier AYCE fee is currently $17.99/person (the upper-tier AYCE fee is $19.99/person). This compares very favorably with other KBBQ AYCE eateries I have been to, all of which have charged $20-30/person (or more) for their bottom tier (or just in general, in the cases of the restaurants with tierless-menus). Their menu has the least amount of variety of any KBBQ eatery I have visited - if I recall correctly, you only have about a half-dozen meat options available - and I think they were all beef or pork - no baby octopus, shrimp, etc. If you are craving chicken or seafood, this is probably not the place for you. They *really* could have done a better job of pre-greasing/oiling the metal grilling plate - our meat was sticking onto the plate a lot more than it should have (compared to my experiences at other KBBQ eateries). The service was pretty good overall (in fact, I will say it's probably better than most KBBQ places I have been to), and I have no complaints about it. The menu appeared to have specified a penalty fee for any leftover meat. However, the staff here seems to apply common sense about it - my dining companion and I only had the "complimentary" (or perhaps "introductory" is a more appropriate adjective) plate of Beef Brisket and an order of Pork Belly. Given how massive said plate of brisket was, we were unable to finish it, and I asked a staff member for a to-go box for the brisket (so it would not go to waste). He seemed to have to think about it for a few seconds, but he brought me a box for it, and the receipt confirmed that we were not charged a "leftover meat" fee (given that the two of were only served 2 plates of meat total, I hardly think said fee would have been justified). The restaurant is currently offering both indoor dining and ad-hoc outdoor patio dining as well. If you can, I recommend trying to get a table inside, as the bootleg tables outside are very wonky and unstable, which I found to not be such a great thing on its own, and much worse with a gas grill placed on top. I will close out this review with the following observation: if you plan to eat around here a little before midnight and mostly just want to fill yourself up with AYCE beef and pork for less than $20/person, this is honestly not a bad spot given the lack of KBBQ alternatives open late in the area (that I was able to observe, at least). read more

Nothing fancy, you won't find any of the different meats like octopus, lengua or shrimp. The menu is Brisket, Marinated Beef (Bulgogi), Clout, Pork Cushion & Spicy Pork. Comes with jalapeños and onions to throw on the grill. Their salad is the best! So delicious and fresh. Also they have a delicious lemon soju. They don't offer any of the traditional Kbbq sides like kimchi, but rice is provided. PARKING: Parking is a plenty, being in a decent size Plaza. The wait can be a bit when going during peak hours. Anytime after 10pm there is no wait. The best part....THEY ARE OPEN TILL 12AM! So when those meat cravings hit at midnight, it's a go to spot. SEATING: They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which I love being able to BBQ outside. SERVICE: Friendly attentive staff, and you leave feeling full in your tummy and your wallet. Important thing to know is they ONLY have pork belly, bulgogi and brisket. They lack certain sides like rice paper and appetizers that you would find at other kbbq places. Been here a FEW times before COVID-19 and came for the first time during COVID-19. This is the place for when you're craving KBBQ and you are not willing to wait for long lines at other KBBQ places. The quality of the meat isn't the best, but is good enough to eat. The brisket is a hit or miss: it can be really good and can be really dry. During my experience eating dine-out, it was really dry. Plus, the menu selection is very small. The price is fairly cheap! I think it was about $18 per person (without tip). We got seated in an area with very little light (the lightbulb was broken), so the photo quality is bad. In general, from past experience and dining out, their service has always been so-so. But I am assuming that during my dine-out experience, it was much slower because they only had 3 people out in the front.
