It was my first time getting a piercing and the lady at the front was super helpful with answering questions and showing us different options. I liked that they have a titanium option for new piercings since my skin is a bit more sensitive. A bit more expensive at $50 for both piercings instead of $40. The actual piercing process was very smooth. They dot your ear so you can make sure you like where it goes and then the actual procedure is quick and pretty painless. I just got my bottom earlobe pierced. The actual space is pretty big. They have the main front waiting area where you check in and pay and then on the side and in the back they have separate walled off spaces for each tattoo or piercing artist. I would definitely use them again.

I'm not sure when I was 18 what made me choose to college avenue inkers I'm going there one time and got a semi okay tattoo I'm a guy who didn't work for them for very long. At the time the shop was on by hammer and Johnny. The very next time I came in to get a larger tattoo the tattoo was done by Johnny himself. And bingo there it was my life long tattoo artist. I don't feel like Johnny and I have gotten that old even though I haven't seen him in too many years. When I was 18 a hammer and Johnny were both very quiet guys but very cool to me and Johnny only took good care of me when I worked for him and as a customer as well. He took he time and let me make sure I loved where my nose was doted. He stayed after closing and took his time. He even offered ordering a hoop and coming in to switch it. Chris got a SD with a Chargers logo on top of it with some blue in it. Eddie was great with setting up an appointment for me and Chris! It took him about 30 minutes to draw both out which was great timing. He got mine done within 30 minutes. It was perfectly positioned and I loved it! Eddie is really light handed compared to some others so it's nice since it decreased the pain a lot. It's been two years and my tattoo is still in great shape. Chris' still has really great color and all for a great price too! I definitely recommend Eddie for traditional style tattoos. He was fun to talk to and fast. The lines are all really clean as well. I recommend coming to this shop! This shop is on Broadway and 2nd street in the northeast side of El Cajon. There isn't a private parking lot for it, but street parking is available! He was really informative on how to keep the tattoo clean and make it heal properly.
