I really hope I have the right location. I wanted to leave a review to thank the employees that were so kind to me on the night of January 23, 2026. They honored a birthday drink for my mother's birthday and went out of their way to make it special when they didn't have to. They made her an incredibly sweet birthday cup to hold her iced tea in. One employee in particular was incredibly kind, Minnie, and I want to thank her again for her kindness. It meant more than she knows. On a practical note, the drinks from Dutch Bros are always tasty and you can build your own out of anything. They have larger containers than some places and you get more bang for your buck. The employees are always friendly, conversational, helpful, patient, and nice. I have not had a bad experience at Dutch Bros and gestures like this is what creates consumer loyalty. This place was cool. I love the large selection of drink options here. You can basically make any drink sugar free which is a big deal for me personally. The Service was great everyone was friendly and super informative being that this was our first time at a Dutch Bros. My only issue was the outside seating was messy. Trash everywhere. A regular outdoor walkthrough with a sweeper kit would drastically make this place much more presentable. Other than that I enjoyed the visit. My normal Dutch location is the Calloway location, and I always have the best customer service but yesterday 03/22 I decided to go to the California location, and I had the worst service ever. To start off she greeted us at the window with an attitude and repeated our drinks. After she handed us our first drink and we noticed it was wrong, we then let her know and she stated rudely, "I REPEATED YOUR ORDER, IS THIS NOT YOUR ORDER?!" We even apologized and when we did, she walked away not even letting us finish our sentence, she then started to scream at the team while having the drive thru window open, she handed us our drinks rudely after, we were shocked. The second bad experience was at this same location. they charged me a dollar extra without letting me know because I had asked for easy ice and it wasn't until I got to the window that I was told. I checked on the app and there is absolutely no charge difference for easy ice. This is completely upsetting. I rather not go to this location anymore. read more

My dad and I have been coming here for years now. We always get the iced starry night rebels there. The workers are always friendly and will recommend you some really good drinks. There is a guy who works there who recognizes faces and will say "two starry night rebels , right?" That always makes me laugh but yeah that's correct! This place started out strong when they opened about a year ago. I was surprised to see they chose this location based on the size of the parking lot, but now that the initial hype has died down to a reasonable traffic volume, it actually works out pretty well. The coffee here is consistent and pretty good. My go-to a couple of times a week is the large 9-1-1, which is loaded with caffeine and helps me get through a 14-hour shift. It's a little pricy at nearly 8 bucks, but hey - its worth it once in a while. Over time, I have definitely noticed the Dutch Bro enthusiasm has waned. The employees at the South Chester location now appear scarred by this neighborhood. They don't smile or engage in conversation like they once did during their first few months in operation. It used to be like going to a party when you pulled into the drive thru. Bubbly personalities would approach your car on foot, wish you a good morning, and make recommendations. I don't get out much, and I lack much of a social life with my long hours, so I kind of enjoyed those brief human interactions with the outside world. It was, to me, a cheap thrill, akin to hiring a clown at a child's birthday party. I was essentially paying someone to be nice to me if even for the brief moments it took to order a cup of coffee. A year later, perhaps the daily exposure to transients high on meth and exposing their genitals and hoodlums stealing the tip jars has taken its toll. When I pulled into the lot yesterday to order my usual and a couple of extra drinks for my night shift crew, the girl working the drive through line on foot looked like she had just returned from a combat tour of duty. She had the thousand yard stare and an angry scowl on her face. She stood at my window and didn't say anything until I asked for my order, at which point she told me the total, completed the transaction on her iPad, and sauntered off back inside without so much as a thank you. I pulled up to the window to find another unhappy "broista" who (quickly at least) all but threw my three drinks at me, causing them to slosh about because she hadn't offered a drink carrier or lid stopper decals for any of them. When I asked, she gruffly handed me these things and slammed the window without a word. Oh well - I guess the cold, sad reality of the bleak, and dystopian nightmare we call life in Bakersfield has finally hit on South Chester. The magic is dead. At least I don't feel guilty when I don't tip. read more

Went to the Dutch Brothers on Chester for the first time I've been going to Dutch Brothers ever since they open up on east side everything was good I mean the only difference was the cars got a little backed up and there wasn't too many folks out there with iPads or tablets out there taking order not until it got too busy but other than that it was okay the only drawback is it's all jacked up over there with the streets and all that so that's kind of slows everything up also so it's very hard to get in and out of the parking lot because of the construction on the the road other than that coffee is always good customer service is always on point even at the Chester location won't go back to that one till they finish the street read more

A+++ in customer service & quality of drinks. This location just opened up about a week ago & I've already gone twice (don't judge me lol). BOTH times I've gone was a great experience & no wait at all staff is super friendly & engages you in a conversation while you wait. I was in Bakersfield for business and decided to go to Dutch Bros. Since I wanted to stretch my legs before I began my drive back to Fresno, I parked my car and was immediately greeted by Grace. She was energetic, friendly, and had a beautiful smile. She took my order as I explained to her that the Fresno Dutch Bros had run out of stickers and I was hoping to get one for my younger daughter. Grace said, "no problem" and returned with some stickers. Not only that, while waiting for my order, Grace came back with some different style Dutch Bros stickers for my daughter!! I didn't even have to ask!! Thank you Grace! You made my young daughter super happy!! I also had the honor of speaking with Elijah, who also had a great personality and was very hospitable. Never went to this location but, I love their drinks! I personally like my drinks sweeter so this is much better than Starbucks. I do recommend getting the green apple smoothie, mango smoothie, strawberry smoothie, snickerdoodle freeze and picture perfect!!! Today was my first day going there since opening and honestly did not care for it. They broista or whatever lol who was making our drinks was rude. I told the girl in drive i wanted soft top on one of my drinks and she forgot to let the barista know who was making the drinks so they had to remake my drink (not my fault but i was happy bc the drink was nasty w/o the soft top anyways) so i asked when they remade it if they could also add some extra vanilla hoping it would make my drink taste better. It didn't. But when I asked for some extra vanilla the girl rolled her eyes. I had gotten two other drinks --but they tasted gross as well-- and by seeing her attitude to fix my drink which wasn't my fault in the first place --i knew that if i asked to remake all the other drinks it would have made her more upset and i didn't feel like making anyones job harder or responding rudely back so I went to the columbus location to get them remade only to find out it was owned by a different operator so that I couldn't even get my drinks remade there. Employee taking orders kept me waiting while talking to the car in front of me who I assume was her friend. She finally finished her conversation and came to take my order but stopped and ran inside because a bee almost landed on her shirt. Came back out 5 minutes later only to tell the car in front of me the bee landed on her and started having another conversation with her.
