The cake shake was rich and flavorful without being overwhelmingly sweet, and the lemonade was refreshing and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, which makes a big difference. We also appreciated the pricing--it felt very reasonable, especially compared to places like Starbucks, and the quality easily stands up (if not exceeds) what you'd get there. Nothing tasted artificial or overly sugary, which is something we both look for. Overall, it was a great experience, and it reminded us why we enjoyed it the first time. I normally have really positive experiences at Dutch Bros, which is why this interaction was disappointing. My friend and I had placed pickup orders ahead of time for the Panama location. When my friend got to the window, she let the employee know it was a pickup order and he asked to see her screen. We've never had to show our screens before, but she showed it anyway. She then realized out loud that she had accidentally placed her order at the wrong location. The employee, Cole, completely ignored her instead of offering help or explaining that the drinks could possibly be remade at that location. When it was my turn, Cole also asked to see my screen before handing me my drink. After that, I politely asked if I could also buy a gift card because I had forgotten to buy it on the app. He responded with a very rude and dismissive attitude, saying, "you're gonna have to give me a sec," before walking away and leaving another employee to help me. I understand that working customer service can be stressful, but the stand-offish attitude felt unnecessary, especially since the location was not overly busy at the time. If he would've explained in a nicer tone that he was currently busy with something but that he would get back to me, I would've been understanding. I do want to mention that the other employee who helped me afterward was extremely kind and welcoming. He spoke very politely and even asked, "how much do you want to put on the card, my love," which completely changed the interaction for the better. I really appreciated his kindness. Always a must when we're visiting from LA. Unlucky us we don't have a Dutch bros. So when we come visit family we always make a pit stop. Staff has always been friendly and doing their best to pump out the drinks. Lines and wait can be a little long but really that's nothing out of the ordinary. I've been to Dutch bros in Oceanside as well as Las Vegas and they all have long wait times drive thru and walk up. I really don't mind waiting for my drinks because they are worth it. This location is a drive through / window order only. No seating inside. It is made for a quick experience. They have workers outside standing by the drive thru line to take orders ahead of the menu screens. Like how in & out does when the lines are too long. This helps speedy up the orders so you aren't waiting forever. The walk up window didn't have a line at all so we decided to order there. Since it's winter time it is colder waiting outside for your drinks. And there is only 1 window to order and pickup your drinks. Since someone was ordering when our drinks were ready the young lady brought them out to us. That was so nice of her!!! I ordered the hazelnut truffle mocha, it was sooooo good! It wasn't super nutty since the truffle flavors are strong but everything blended nicely. This is my go-to Dutch Bros, and every visit comes with top-tier customer service. But two days ago, my friend and I had an especially amazing experience thanks to Kaylee. She was incredibly sweet, engaging, and made our visit even more enjoyable with a great conversation. She genuinely connects with people, and it was so nice to chat with her about all the different drink options. Not only did she handle our complicated order effortlessly, making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, but she was also outside in the freezing, windy cold the entire time. I know it's not easy working in those conditions, and I truly appreciate her for that. That goes for the rest of the employees as well--they always do an amazing job no matter the weather. The drive-thru is always clean and well-maintained, but depending on the time and day, they can get very busy, leading to long wait times. It's definitely something to be mindful of, depending on your schedule. Also, my personal favorite--the Hazelnut Truffle Mocha. I had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a cup of latte, and there was not even a long line! The coffee, however, was pretty good. I like my latte hot and without much foam, like a Spanish Cafe con Leche. They made it exactly how I wanted it, and the coffee was tasty. We converted from other big name coffee shops to Dutch Brothers a long time ago and this is our favorite location. The baristas and workers are always friendly and helpful, giving tips and recommendations regularly. The place is cute though there isn't any inside sitting except one location in town but that's okay because the coffee makes up for it. I personally get the Golden Eagle Freeze with soft top or the German Chocolate Freeze with soft top and my husband often gets the cold brew, season drinks or the energy drinks with different flavors. There's also great non-caffeinated options for kids which are called Frosts. We also enjoy the lemon poppyseed muffin top. read more

I have been wanting to try Dutch Bros for al lost a year, when I heard of it on the radio. A DJ said a listener from San Diego would drive far to drink this. After seeing the menu online, I knew this was my type of spot. I actually may have tried this in Oregon, in 2019, but I don't remember for sure. We were on our way to a place in Bakersfield and decided stop by here first. Of course, the line was very long; seems like all Dutch Bros tend to be busy. We decided to park and order at the walk-up window; my cousin thought it might be a bit quicker than the drive-thru line. Well, she was sure wrong about that. We made note of the last car in the very long drive-thru line when we got there, and that car had made it up to the window before we even got our drinks. I've been to other locations when they were very busy, and they still moved at a good pace. But we waited almost 30 minutes for our drinks. I got the Stop Light Tea, which was decent, but not worth a long minute wait. None of us thought our drinks were worth a 30 minute wait. read more

Wait was way too long! I watched there undercover boss episode and was impressed how they ran the operation. I like the idea that they have runners bring out the drinks to people in line and will come and take your order. It seemed fast, but when I went to actually try it for the first time I was disappointed. I waited 44 minutes to get my drinks on a Tuesday morning around 9am. Both lines were incredibly slow with no movement. Once I finally made it to the window- they did not acknowledge the time, or at least explain why the wait was so long. I waited to review it , because that day I wanted to give them 1 star. I went back and the same problem happened. I was in line for a crazy amount of time. The store had been open for a little while, so it makes no sense how slow they are. Neither time did they apologize for the delay or were they friendly. They seemed miserable to be there. I understand we never know what can be going on in someone's life, so maybe it was just a fluke. The drinks were good. I had the Rebel which tastes a lot like Red Bull. First off, the workers here have 0 sense of urgency which is why the wait is so long. After waiting for about 20 minutes, we finally get up to the window. I look inside to see what the workers are doing, and everyone is just talking about their weekends & touching each other inappropriately & not making any drinks at all. Then, the girl at the window hand out tells us "THANK GOD you guys didn't come on sundays! It's always at least an hour on sundays." Like what? I've been to so many Dutch bros locations that receive much more volume than this one ever would, and the wait has never been an HOUR? So after waiting another 10 more minutes for our drink at the window, we finally get to leave and take a sip - and our drinks don't even taste how they regularly do. I guess this is the problem when you franchise, there's a lack of quality control. A message to the actual business owner: Your employees are tarnishing the Dutch Bro name.
