Really disappointed in my recent visit to this Dutch Bros location. I waited in a line that stretched to the road. Probably took 5 minutes to place my order to a friendly staff person who was outside. Then another 5 minutes to get to the window. Then another 3-4 minute wait where I spoke with a friendly barista. They gave me my drink and apologized for the wait, saying there was something wrong with the espresso. As I was driving away, I tried my drink and it wasn't what I ordered. I had ordered a vanilla latte, but it didn't have any sweetness nor any vanilla. There wasn't a way to go back and get it fixed due to a lack of parking and the long line. Super bummed. I doctored it up once I got home, but by then it was already cold. I think they need to work on their quality control here. read more

Couldn't take it back to get it fixed because the line was over 30-cars long. So either the baristas at the Hillsboro Imbrie store don't know how to pour a shot, or DB is cheating its customers by using less espresso in their lattes. read more

Small place and drive through lines could get long so I did a walk up order. The workers at this location were honestly pretty short and unfriendly. It took a pretty long time to get my two drinks and I felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking for an update after waiting for awhile. This location keeps the line moving pretty good, but the only complaint I would have is they have the music way to loud, so sometimes hard to hear the person you're talking to! I've driven by this little shop for over a decade and never tried it. I was out for a walk the other day and decided, why not? And boy am I glad I did!! Amazing customer service and since I was a new customer they gave me my drink for FREE!!! I ended up trying a peppermint hot chocolate with almond milk instead of regular milk. They made it light on the peppermint for me (too much sugar) and it was so tasty. A perfect treat on a cold and rainy morning. Highly recommend this shop and I will make sure to buy lots of drinks when I'm in town. read more

This was my first Dutch Brothers experience. I had heard things. Great things. I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. While the line was long, it moved fast. The baristas are super nice and talkative. First visit, I ordered the Kicker and my honey ordered the Caramelizer. Oh my. Dessert in a cup. Delicious, although way too sweet for me for a morning coffee drink. Our second visit a few days later, I still got the Kicker and opted for the lighter version with nonfat milk. (Thanks to the barista who took our order, who guided me in that direction.) Way better. My honey got an iced drink that he enjoyed. read more

Hands down, the friendliest and fastest service I've ever seen at a coffee stand! A long line is generally a good sign at a coffee stand - and that certainly proved true here at Dutch Brothers. Though the line was lengthy, it seemed to be moving fast. That's because, while drinks were delivered and payments given at the window, a different barista came out of the shop to our car to get our order. (Um...WOW!) By the time we got to the window our drinks were hot and ready. Both the barista who took our order and the one who delivered it were friendly and smiling. A very pleasant experience all round. And the coffee? Excellent! The Portland penchant of giving things interesting names lives on here, with drinks like the Annihalator and the 911. I went for the Cocomo, a coconut-infused mocha, and it was just what the doctor ordered. With fast and friendly service and great coffee, this Dutch Brothers coffee stand just became a place we'll come back to when we get back to Portland. Love it! read more

I really like this place!!! Its close to my work in the morning....I do have to drive past my office to go here but I dont care, Im a fan!!! Definitely get a stamp card, after 10 drinks or purchases, you get the 11th free and you can start a new card. Its not your typical coffee joint with lattes etc.....they have their own proper names for drinks and you choose one that fits what you are hankering for. I prefer the "Double Torture"...aka "Double T". Line gets kinda crazy in the morning.....if you go after 730am....yea, there is a line. Just before that, you should be fine. Its a little coffee hut where the drive up line goes around the hut. Just about a car or two til you reach the window, they have a person walk out to take your order and go back inside to make it so by the time you get to the window to pay, your drink should be ready. I agree with Erin C.....definitely some eye candy. The girls are super friendly and nice and chat with you the few minutes you are at the window. Always nice to have that to start your morning off right. I do have to add, I haven't been there for about a month and the girl asked where have I been. My friend from out of state came through the line today with me. We ordered a candy cane mocha, and a light ice mocha. My drink was filled with ice and I got about 4 sips out of it, my friend said her coffee was the worst she's had and that the flavor resembled hot milk. I was so excited to show her Dutch because of the amazing customer service the employees give, as well as the great conversation. But that wasn't the case today. Although I am impressed that whoever was on milk was able to make a dry almond milk peppermint steamer I was very disappointed to not have any chocolate in my hot chocolate. Whether I'm late to work, because the girl at the window was chatting with the guy in the car in front of me for 5+ minutes after he had his drink, or they gave me the wrong drink (twice now). I decided to give it one more try today, and got an eggnog latte... I don't know if that's just the way it tastes or it was made wrong, but it literally tasted like what death smells like.. Honestly. It made me gag, and (as usual) I didn't have time to return it, so I just wasted more money here on a drink I immediately threw in the trash. :( Based on the fact that 100% of my visits here have wasted my time/money and left me disappointed, I'd suggest going to another location or even just another coffee shop. read more

I've been to this location a few times now because it's conveniently located by my work and everytime, I hope the experience gets better. Unfortunately, it doesn't. This time around the barista's attitude was in the gutter. Her customer service was just not there. When asking for my drink to be iced (they made it hot), she stated "Well, I worked hard on that foam." After she remade my drink, it ended up being too sweet and I just threw it away. I didn't have time to go back for them to remake it...again. I won't be coming back to this location until their baristas learn customer service. I'll be taking the extra 10-15 minutes to get my coffee elsewhere. read more

That is, until I saw my real estate agent with a Dutch Bros cup and I asked him what the deal was with this place and it's (seemingly) cult following. Learned about this place on CBS's Undercover Boss and was intrigued by their style of serving up the cracky juice. I had almost forgotten about them until my friends suggested that we stop by. It is as I remember seeing it, small hut, overly energetic runners/baristas, can't go wrong there! Felt like getting a cold one even though the temp was mild in the 60s. Looking over their impressive array of cold concoctions, I settled for a Dutch Freeze without any flavor add ins (they're free by the way). The Dutch Freeze, like an espresso milkshake, was super creamy velvety and that's exactly what I look for in a blended iced coffee. It didn't take me long to down that and want more but I had to refrain because there were many more calorically deadly foods coming my way. Can't wait to hit up another Dutch Bros while on a mini-adventure our out of town! read more

Less than a half block (grocery outlet parking lot) towards Beaverton on the other side of Scholls Ferry is a much safer local place, it's just as good and much cheaper. This was my first experience with Dutch Bros, and I will certainly be back for more! Even with a long line of people waiting for their morning elixir, my order was placed and delivered within 5 minutes by a very friendly, welcoming and genuinely enthusiastic employee. I ordered a medium iced Americano and my partner ordered the The Kicker and both drinks are highly recommended in my book. It's simple; consistently great coffee and super friendly employees, just like at the Pac Hwy location. I never have to say light on the sweetener because their drinks are not super sweet like they are most places. I feel like their slightly less expensive too which is awesome, perhaps because their a kiosk. There is always a line here, but their also fast, so even a long line doesn't mean a huge wait. Still, be prepared for 10-15 minutes with 4 cars ahead of you. They have an employee come out to get your drink order. When you get out, you have to turn right, you can't turn left, which is unfortunately the way I always need to go. It's a city of Tigard issue, funny how the other Tigard DB location is similar in that regard. read more

I absolutely hate the layout of this drive through. Couple of the parking spots get blocked in when there's a line for the drive through. And there usually is a line in the morning. So one of the serving window is pretty much useless. Even though it's THAT inconvenience... I still go there to wait in line like a druggie in front of a crack house.
