I used to frequent this joint every day when I was attending hair school around the corner. It's been a hot minute since I have made my way in. I needed an afternoon caffeinated beverage so I had to stop in and grab a pick a pick me up. That afternoon drag was hitting hard. George helped me first and got my order started. I got my usual of an iced americano with sugar free chocolate macadamia syrup with half and half. He was great and listed off thier SF options. I wanted something different besides the usual vanilla that I get. Regan got my drink started and wrapped up my visit. He was so dope. Both of them have such beautiful auras about them. So kind and sweet. I love that they were part of my afternoon. Nothing better than absorbing that kind of energy to keep you going through the day. Not gonna lie, my drink was ok... it was watered down. There was a tad too much water to my americano. It would have been nice to have a stronger espresso presence in my drink but I made it work. I could have been upset over my drink but the guys that helped me today were too nice to be mad. Happy I got to stop in and grab a drink. It wasn't at it's full potential but it got the job done. Have always come to this Dutch Bros. for the past 3 years because it's the closest to my house. Monday night 8/15 waited in line well over 20 minutes. Only one side open. Ordered 2 drinks, iced coffee and a white zombie blended drink. And tip, I always tip. Anyways about an 30 mins after finally getting my drink, I head home. My husband and I are drinking the drinks. About 15 to 20 minutes after we were finished we both got nausea, stomach ache and eventually sick. Headed back the next day to ask for a refund or gift card, I don't want drinks from that location anymore. The little girl "in charge" with the long grossly nails had attitude the entire time, and kept calling me "love" yea don't do that. Said she could not find my transaction. My husband sent a screen shot of the posted amount in his checking and provided the last 4 of his CC. She said "no that's not enough we don't have it in our system, so we have no proof. They made me wait so long while they pretended to be on the phone with the "regional" manager that said they were not allowed to give me my refund or a gift card. Wtf? Are you serious? It's $15! We literally threw up from the crappy drinks we got here the night before, and a huge company like Dutch can't issue a refund or gift card to do the minimum? The little girl gave me a paper and said you're gonna have to call the Boise office to get your $$ back. Wow....unbelievable. I proceeded to call corporate for the 2nd time, and the customer service rep who assisted me was awesome. I'll leave a review for him on another page. But seriously this location has gone to shit especially with its customer service. Rude and appalling will not return. Buyer beware! read more

I'm a Dutch Bros fan, and rarely stray from the Cocomo or Golden Eagle. This location is great, the staff is over the top friendly (in a good way!), they spoil my pup, and I like that the stand has a drive-thru on both sides to keep lines shorter. BTW, the loyalty card is a great bonus too, rewarding you with ANY drink of ANY size once you've purchased ten (I think it's ten) drinks. :) read more

Reviewer no. 16 I visit this location often as it's right by the Walmart and my gym on Overland near Maple Grove. I know I visit too often and spend too much money, but hey...I have an addiction... I know I need to break it, but it's oh-so-good and the staff is super duper! I get an Americano (black coffee) add cream and sweet-n-low and it's only $2.75 and about 50 calories. I can get my kiddo a not-so-hot chocolate and my dog a treat (FREE, YAY!), too! I like the Bros mainly because of its people. Seriously, I don't know how they hire so many amazing people! Save some for us that need good employees!! My brother in law gets a sugar free blended soda, which is very similar to a coffee without the calories. He also makes lots of different drinks with their many sugar-free syrups making the guild a little less than going full-on calorie. I was already waiting in line before I saw the sign that said "accepts cards only" really?! I dislike putting small amounts on my card, and also I felt weird telling him how much I'm going to tip him instead of just putting money in a tip jar. How do I love thee, let me count the ways?! I was impressed with the employees at this Dutch (my very favorite coffee shop, EVER). They were kind and were free with recommendations! White Coffee with a touch of Chocolate Milk is mind-blowingly delicious. Who knew? I had ordered a peach tea before going to the airport on my way out of town and it made my heart dance! I've been a Dutch Bros. regular for years now for 2 reasons, great tasting coffee and super friendly people. The friendly staff always makes me feel welcome. I am located close to 3 Dutch locations but this one is my regular stop due to the people. Everyone knows my name and my order. They even make a point of introducing me to their new hires. If I could I would have given zero Stars - Do not buy a Gift Card from this location. They ran my debit card for $50.00 before telling me their Gift card machine isn't working and then told me they couldn't process the refund but they would as soon as their machine was back up and they didn't now 2 weeks later. I called Dutch Bros Corporate (twice) as well as emailed them to be told I would be contacted within 24 hours and now 5 days + still no responses. Is this anyway to run a business??? Excellent service! I often order weird coffee (odd combos/no milk/etc) and the barista didn't question a thing today! She asked about my plans for the day, served me up my coffee super quick, and it was made per my order. So pleased with Dutch Bros, their new white coffee, and the excellent service! My only wish? been a regular for like 6 years and to get yelled at by a girl there because they refuse to address the ongoing problem with people cutting me off around their signs since the second side is closed at night. (second side being closed is not the issue.) i may have yelled and called the girl an idiot and told her to get a tesla to drive for her since she tried the 4 point turn stunt in a big white truck, but when i got to the window i was told that the issue is not what the problem is, and that it doesnt matter that this stuff happens constantly. I didnt even get to EXPLAIN what had happened, and she told me she doesnt care and it doesnt matter. Dont even know who this girl is, and she ignores me telling her a problem and situation that had JUST happened. I had gone in the morning and the employees were great but I had gotten a medium sized tea and they had said it was $3 even. I had payed using a $10 bill and had only gotten $3 back. I hadn't noticed at the time because I just wanted my drink and was rushing to get to work. On top of that I don't think they cleaned their machine well enough because my tea had a coffee taste to it as well. Thankfully I did go back and made the employees aware of what had happened and they fixed the issue with no problem! They had a great attitude about it and also did my best to reassure me, even thanked me for coming back and making this aware to them, and sent me on my way back home with the $4 I didn't receive earlier. read more

Longtime customer with GREAT relationship from another location. New to this one on my way to the office. Was in line when a car pulled up an alley to get in line. When the order taker walked toward that car that had just showed up, but I would arrive to the window first, calmy stated "actually I was here first". Order taker was a bit snarky "Well, I'm going here". It was fine and I only mentioned it because I was technically going to arrive to window first and I know their flow is to move cars quickly. Rather than later taking my order, she takes orders for 4-5 cars behind me and then goes back in the booth to make drinks. I arrive to window and asked about reporting a poor customer service experience. I briefly mention the experience and the window lady is dismissive and states "well we can deny service and don't have to take your order", which was a little shocking, but I just ignored it. I was finally told it was my word over hers and I mentioned, "she's right there if you want to ask her". She comes to the window and tells me that she didn't want to take my order because she thought I was going to yell at her, which made no sense because I wasn't even rude when telling her my order of arriving. We had a casual back and forth over her stating "she wanted to serve her regular first" and my feedback on customer service and my long standing relationship with DB. After 5 min or so of this back and forth, they stated they were refusing me service and to leave. When I stated I was calling national to report this and would not leave until this was resolved, they threatened to call the cops. While waiting on hold for national, they finally admitted I had done nothing wrong and agreed to make my drinks. I've NEVER been refused service for "I thought you were going to yell at me" and reporting a poor customer service experience in a calm logical manner. I just wanted to be heard and they were all incredibly dismissive, accusatory to the point of absurdity and demeaning of my business over their "regular". This entire experience made no sense. Left my name and number for the manager to call and reported the location to the national office franchisor since this customer service experience is not even remotely close to what the brand promotes. My wife and I are from Southern California and have seen Dutch Brothers around the Pacific Northwest. This was our first time trying it. We dealt with two staff members and both were extremely friendly and helpful. Exactly the type of people you want as your employees representing you. They were truly happy happy people, and not pretentious like at that other big coffee chain.They offered great suggestions, the service was quick, the drinks were inexpensive compared to California, and the coffees tasted great. I am absolutely furious. I came today around twelve in the afternoon so I wasn't expecting a super speedy line. But Jesus. I waited in line 35 minutes and there was only two cars on front of me. Want to know WHY I waited? Because they had a co worker in drivethru (I'm assuming on their day off) that held up the entire f****** line! They sat there talking for almost twenty minutes while I sat behind them with my son in car. This is near my work so it's very convenient for me to get my coffee fix from here. The lines are usually long and I'm normally waiting 5-10 minutes to get my drink (my usual is a blended Annihilator) but the employees here are always upbeat, they smile, and greet you and while they're busy making getting your order they make an effort to talk with you. I really appreciate that since a lot of places are really just in the mindset of getting your order as fast as they can to get through the line. My first time and I have to say the flavor of their coffee is leaps and bounds over the other guys and I will be going back. Although I typically order a pretty normal cup of coffee, couple creams, couple sugars, I wasn't stoked on the ordering process. Perhaps its only my ignorance speaking and maybe they had a form of menu available but my order as taken from a man with a tablet five cars deep into the line, being my first time, I had no idea what they offered and no menu was obviously available. This location is THE WORST dutch bros. Unfortunately they are closest to work and I keep hoping they will improve but they never do. 98% of the time my order comes out wrong. I don't request very complicated drinks but rather one off their standard menu, and I tend to order the same drink nearly every time. This location has sent out wrong sized drinks, ones missing shots or flavors, made hot instead of iced or scalding hot instead of warm, missing whip or added drizzles, and worst of all sugared instead of sugar free or missing items entirely from a multiple item order. This location is GREAT at making drinks wrong! To top it off, if I ask them to fix their mistake, often times they're rude about it and try to deny making any mistakes at all. The good it does you to tell me you made it right when I've tasted it 100 times and know that it's wrong just goes into a frustrating review to encourage others to support a different location with a better manager. The staff here don't seem to care how many drinks they waste let alone your time and especially if you had to drive to your destination and back to have an order fixed. There is no customer service at this location. It sucks to write this review which contrasts other locations that are typically fun, kind, and caring. The starbucks a block away will give you 1000 times better experience. read more
