Usually I like this location. But this is now the third time that my drink is wrong. Part of it's on me I should have checked before I pulled away but I'm already home when I tried it and it's made wrong. My daughter and I stopped by this Dutch Bros for a couple of drinks. We were excited that there was NO line. However, that excitement changed quickly! There was a truck in front of us, and the young lady (employee) at the window was talking with the young man in what was clearly a casual conversation. You could tell his vehicle was off, and he had been there for some time. We waited about 5 minutes before someone came out to take our order, and a line started to build up. Both the employee and the young man kept looking back, but there was no urgency or respect for the fact that this was a business with customers waiting to be served, so he should move. Nor did the employee have the decency to ask her guest to move or to cut her conversation short. By her actions, it was clear that her conversation, laughing, and giggling were more important than doing the job she was being paid to do. It's unfortunate that, for the service Dutch Bros normally provides, I am writing this review. We would have been in and out had it not been for the lack of customer service. Once our order was taken, they were quick about getting our drinks to us, but we never pulled up to the window to get them; they brought them out, which added to the lack of customer service. The employee just kept on with her conversation without a care for how this type of behavior or attitude reflects on the business. I have no complaints about Dutch Brothers aside from the line (You can literally pull in the same time as someone and somehow can be behind that person by 3 cars. They told me before that they zigzag the line but today I watched the girl walk down the line and zig zag every other two cars, which would have put me 3 cars behind the person that pulled up after me somehow, I watched and counted.) So I got out of the line and ordered at the window, which still took over 20 minutes. There should be more people employed at this location because it's busy every time I come here, there was one girl walking down the line taking orders. Friendly staff, quick service and a massive menu with more options than you can process in your short time in the drive through line this is my go to for a consistent quality coffee at any time of the day. Dutch Bros serves all the standard coffee drinks but with a twist if that's what you're interested in. There's a massive list of flavors you can add to your drink that's available online adding a lot more options to your drink choices. For coffee, the easiest way to access this list of flavors is to go onto their website and click menu -- dutch frost -- see more flavors to see the full range. There is a separate list for iced tea that focuses on fruitier flavors. Drinks are able to be made with a sliding scale for ice and sugar so you're able to adjust it to your liking. Sizes are much larger compared to some of the local coffee places (a medium is a 24 oz, $5 with an alternative milk) but the prices are comparable for a larger drink. I will keep coming back and I'm so glad it's not too far from the Anschutz campus so I can come grab a drink during breaks. I think it will be difficult for most to understand and it might seem like complete buffoonery but please hear me out. My day was rough. Work was stressful as always. The wife at home hasn't been herself for months and my kids do not seem to love me anymore. I woke up to my miserable life cruising through the day like always my soul dragging behind me just longing for life to be like it was. Up to this momentous life changing event that occurred on this sacred night, I felt like I was on autopilot letting the last bit of happiness drain out of my soul. I show up, a tired dreadful look on my face... barely conscious on my way back home. Or a resemblance of home. I was trying to kill time hoping my wife would be asleep by the time I got home, trying my best to avoid another screaming match tonight. I wait in line counting every second go by dreading the inevitable gear grinding slow life that awaits me after I leave this parking lot. Suddenly I see a cheery girl practically skipping her way towards my beat up car like a colorful rainbow after a storm. A shining ray of light lighting up my black heart. She was incredibly nice, pleasant, and so incredibly lovely. She saw that I was sad and asked what was wrong. I broke down crying. A 27 year old man sobbing in his van while a complete stranger watches In disbelief. She sprung into action and talked to me about everything, even asking her coworkers to handle the line while she stayed and talked to me. I was there for San entire hour talking with her. She even got her coworkers to sing me a happy song before I left. This was my first time at Dutch bros and I for sure will be back. I've never had such a kind person help me and do everything in her power to nurture me back to sanity. On 2/20/24, I visited Dutch Bros. to purchase two drinks in order to receive the new dog tag. My mother had a doctor's appointment at the hospital and was unable to accompany me to get another drink. I intended to get her drink and mine. She does not have the Dutch Bros. app. The lead barista, Regan, informed me that I could not get another drink to obtain her dog tag and that I would have to return later. She was extremely rude and dismissive of my situation. I explained that it would be after 3 pm by the time I could return, and the dog tags would likely be sold out by then. Her rudeness and lack of empathy were uncalled for. I had intended to bring my mother with me, but due to her medical treatments, she becomes fatigued and ill, so I planned to bring her the next day. I shared this personal information with Regan, but she remained unsympathetic. The barista who rang me up was very kind and was embarrassed of her actions!! First let me start by saying that the coffee is amazing. However the service has left lots to be desired. We have been here multiple times and it's always the same a long line and never anyone outside taking orders. But yesterday was icing on the cake. I get you can ask for a tip and you may think you deserve one but that's not always the case. A tip should be earned it's not an entitlement, especially when you make way more than a server who is tipped on more than taking an order. I normally tip with cash so I can tip on the quality as well as the service. The employees are great! The coffee is great. But unfortunately this is the slowest of all the DB thru the drive-thru or window compared to the other DBs.
