Because each Barista has their own ways of making espresso, I spell out how I want my Standard Whole Milk Latte [Crafted]. ***"A Whole Milk Grande Latte, 180 degrees, with about a half inch of micro-foam. And please add two Raw Sugars... Thank you!" ((What I got at this Starbucks...: medium heat, two light shots of espresso coffee, about an inch and a half of football sized foam and about half a cup of Whole Milk.)) Photo added...I think?? Totally Wrong! Not close to what I asked and paid good money for~~~ I asked for *180 degrees because I'm a slow sipper of coffee brews, and by the time the cup is about a quarter from being done, the espresso is cold....but, if @ 180 degrees. Highly disappointed! I was having a discussion with someone and the manager came over after a few minutes in and said that we needed to order. We kindly said that we will be ordering shortly. I normally order right away for myself and my guest but she waved me over and started talking right away. He circled right back and said that we had to order or leave. I was taken aback because it was about 10:30 in the morning, the location was rather empty and he had only approached us. We were dressed in business casual attire and were speaking in moderate tones. My acquaintance was a 70 year old woman. There was no reason to be so aggressive with us and single us out. I reminded him that we would be placing an order, commented that he was overreaching and to give us the opportunity to get a breaking point in our conversation. About 20-30 minutes later, we purchased as promised. I was inclined to not buy ANYTHING but he already assumed that about us. I was determined to not fall into his stereotype. I don't want to place my hard earned dollars where I'm not respected. This location really struggles to make a drink. Nearly every order is wrong. Basic things like adding whip cream, holding ice, any type of customization is an issue. The standard drinks are better at other locations. They don't brew all 3 types of coffee each day here and insist on serving only Pike. The workers there had not made it before but were very willing to do it provided I gave them the recipe I found online. The drinks came out great and my little sister was pretty excited. Blue drink: Passion Iced Tea, soy milk, and vanilla syrup - in some ratio (not sure). Pink drink: 4 packs acai berry tea. 1 cup hot boiling water. 1/2 cup white grape juice. 1-2 cups unsweetened coconut milk. Fresh sliced strawberries. Agave nectar, optional. A local dance competition had a ton of parents getting coffee to go and running through the drive through. Staff was friendly and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. This is truly the most disappointing Starbucks I've visited. I keep going back (mostly, because it's close to work) with the hopes that possibly it was a bad day, or they were just off. Nope, they're "off" every time I visit. No smiles, no greeting when you walk in, no simple "thank you" after you place your order. No recognition for that matter. We had one person in front of us and we ordered a Latte and an Americano and it took 15 minutes to get our order. No sugar, no stirrers, empty creamer and just a sloppy looking prep area. Truly one of the most disappointing Starbucks I've visited. I will keep going to the one on 104th and Tower as it's closer to my home. They are amazing! Okay.... Let me get this right! I even made sure to have a zoomed in picture for everyone. I tell the barista that their is mold in their food and that mold grew. So that has been their for a moment! Then the barista she goes to defend it and say oh that's just for display! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Do you even have food safety knowledge?!?? Like who hired you!!! Let's define this: Foods that are moldy may also have invisible bacteria growing along with the mold. Yes, some molds cause allergic reactions and respiratory problems. And a few molds, in the right conditions, produce "mycotoxins," poisonous substances that can make you sick." DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT RISK YOU ARE TAKING for your customers???
