February 7, 2023 Came in from Galveston Texas on Southwest airlines headed to Breckenridge. Ordered a cold drink...I got a hot one. No biggie

    What I GOT...

When on travel or out and about my regular errands off the day, I might stop into a Starbucks for my standard Latte. Because each Barista has their own ways of making espresso, I spell out how I want my Standard Whole Milk Latte [Crafted]. ***"A Whole Milk Grande Latte, 180 degrees, with about a half inch of micro-foam. And please add two Raw Sugars... Thank you!" ((What I got at this Starbucks...: medium heat, two light shots of espresso coffee, about an inch and a half of football sized foam and about half a cup of Whole Milk.)) Photo added...I think?? Totally Wrong! Not close to what I asked and paid good money for~~~ I asked for *180 degrees because I'm a slow sipper of coffee brews, and by the time the cup is about a quarter from being done, the espresso is cold....but, if @ 180 degrees. It's at least warm when I finish it... **1/2" micro-foam ( creamy foam texture) With 1 1/2" of Football Sized Foam, the cup is almost a Cappuccino!...... The Barista is challenged making creamy foam!.. ***My $5.00+ Grandé Size is now actually a tall with all the Huge Whole-Milk Bubbles Summation: This disaster for over $5.00+ , isn't uncommon at most Starbucks Today..., in fact, it's expected. This is why i have to SPELL OUT HOW TO MAKE A GENUINE WHOLE-MILK LATTÉ... Starbucks use to CRAFT ---TRUE ESPRESSOS... Now, if you have five Baristas in Five different locations, make this drink, you can put money on it that each Latte will be different...! Very disappointing to pay for a simple drink that costs about the price of a gallon of milk, and they, more than likely, will hose it up... Why do I think this has started to become the 'NORM' at most Starbucks, because the Baristas as so young and inexperienced with espresso, that if you ask the person at the counter for a Percolated Cup Of Coffee, they mostly give you a Blank Stare.., and when you explain what a Percolator is, some will say~~~" OH! Yes! My Grandmother had one of them in her attic!" (((Future Starbucks Failures...here TODAY..! ---Employee--- " We cannot touch your PERSONAL CUP!"...... THIS IS FOR A FUTURE STARBUCKS REVIEW...)))

Nice convenient location. Close to our hotel and easy in and out. Customer service was a bit slow-but overall welcoming. Perks to the staff for decorating the location with a welcoming fall flare.

Mobile ordered in the parking lot. My order was ready by the time I finished unhooking my phone and collecting my bag. Lots of clean tables to work at with natural lighting and neutral colors. Bacon Gouda and green tea is my go-to. Delish as usual. Will definitely be back!

I order a cake pop but the dough isn't cooked at all. Would not recommend this place.

No whip again. I'm over it.

I've been here twice and both times my espresso has tasted burnt. I'm assuming they leave the shots sitting out too long.

Everything was absolutely delicious, if I had to pick a favorite it would be the mushroom empanada but you really can't got wrong. The chimichurri and the creamy jalapeño sauces were both great too. We also snagged a Key Lime Fizzy Moo carbonated milk that blew our minds. Neither of us like milk or carbonated drinks and yet, this was delicious and we couldn't stop sipping it. Definitely try one! Value: We paid $21 including tip, would say value on par for quality and amount of food. Would 100% recommend Cafecito for good vibes and delicious food.

But I was disappointed during my most recent visit when my cortado was made with cow's milk instead of the almond milk I ordered and paid extra for. It's frustrating to pay an upcharge for non-dairy milk and then not receive it, so I hope more care can be taken with orders like this. I also think it's about time that the upcharge for non-dairy milk is reconsidered, even Starbucks is doing it!

It's a small space - a few tables, not all of which have access to an outlet. The table I snagged was off balance and wobbly and pretty dirty. Quite tasty though despite saying I was dining in, my drink and treat came in to-go containers (boo). An extra bummer because I saw mugs. I ordered a seasonal ginger bread latte. Fairly decent price point but flavor was lackluster. Staff was friendly enough but they seemed to spend most of their time out of sight in the backroom. Will not be coming back.

Or is this place brand new where it started to exist after I had been here most recently? It was a little before 8:40am. As most shops don't open until 10am or so, nobody was around on the 46th Street; the coffee shop was thus empty. I got the guy's undue attention upon entering. Cute wall decors, some tables with chairs for people to sit down, nice open bar with a display of sweets and savory are what I noticed. The drink menu (which I didn't take a picture of) is not massive but has got a good selection, all ordinary stuff. I went with my usual: doppio. I also got me one of the baklavas which I saw where all the baked goods are. The tray full of baklavas was on top of the showcase with a lid on it. Looked nicely brown and flaky. Would be a nice mid-morning snack to eat along with my doppio. The guy was efficient. After I placed my order, it was a matter of a minute or two before he handed me the two items. I was the only customer (like I said) but he was super fast. The charge was about $10 for both items. Upon glancing at the electronic receipt, I realized that the baklavas are $7. A bit pricey I thought but they are a good size. Not bad... At home, I enjoyed both of them after my breakfast. I added some almond milk and half and half in my doppio which tasted nice and bitter (for this reason, people think that I drink like the Italians; they do like strong espresso.) The baklava was so filling. The flaky layers stack on top of each other were perfected. The sweetness was just right. For this size/portion, I guess $7 makes sense; the money worth spent for.
