I've visited this location twice and had good experiences! First time I used the walk up window to redeem my free birthday drink. I tried on of their featured drinks, the chocolate crunch cold brew: chocolate macadamia and dark chocolate with soft top and Oreo. This was dessert-like and I enjoyed it, and the drink itself wasn't too sweet so the toppings were a good accompaniment. My second visit I used the drive-thru. It is two lanes that merge into one and two employees came outside to take our orders, which I especially appreciate these days amidst our heat wave. I ordered an iced s'mores mocha made Picture perfect (chocolate and caramel syrup and whipped cream). This addition made my drink too sweet but that's on me! I went to the Dutch on Happy Valley Rd in Phoenix today and when I arrived there was no line. I come around the corner and there is one truck with the broista. Nor a big deal, so I sit and wait. A few minutes before pass and she is still talking to the truck. Another fee minutes pass and then two more employees come out with one drink and start talking with the truck. At this point I rolled down my window and asked if someone could help me. The broista finally came over and said "Sorry, we just haven't seen him in a long time." Which great, love when people can catch up, but maybe not in the middle of the drive thru and when you have customers waiting. She took my order and then the other employee continued to have a conversation with the truck in the middle of the drive thru. Finally got my order and they were still talking. My experience took 7-10 minutes when there was no line. I usually love the service I get with Dutch Bros, but today did not hit the mark for me. read more

I have never had a bad experience or one that would prompt a review. Was in line at the walk up window to order my wife her Mother's Day iced tea. We get drinks every day. The young lady taking orders was talking to a "friend" or co-worker and ended up holding up the line because her conversation was more important. There was a young lady waiting for her drink as well as a couple. We were all annoyed by the selfishness of the young lady. I had to go up and ask for stickers. I was not told that they had ran out. The afternoon and evening crew are always perfect! They get through long lines easily and have good drinks. The morning crew is one of the most incompetent crews I have had to deal with. There are little lines and yet they always mess up the order and give me coffees that are pure milk. Pretty disappointing, seeing as we pay at least seven dollars for coffee in the morning. The kids in the afternoon work better than the adults in the morning...how does that make sense? Someone needs to give them more training on how to properly make the drinks, as they either give me the wrong order or just half ass the drink until it's undrinkable. Possibly the worst DB I have ever been to and I went two days in a row thinking they probably had a bad day... kid taking order at window was in a hoodie, pulled over his head. Could not force a smile. I ordered 4 drinks, three were wrong they made cold instead of hot. I usually really love this location so was super sad to have a bad experience. I ordered through mobile pick up and the first woman I spoke with was super nice and apologized for the drinks not being ready yet and said they'd be ready soon. Flash forward, I had been waiting 20 mins for my drinks at this point, they were busy which I understand. However, multiple people who had come up and ordered at the location had already received their drinks so I was a little frustrated and went back up to the front window. There were 2 people in front of me which orders the other worker took then stopped me once I got up to the window. I waited then let her know I had been waiting 20 mins and that I had a pick up. The drinks were ready sitting on the counter, there must have been a miscommunication with the other worker or something but I'm super disappointed with the service I received. If I could give a suggestion maybe have a better way of prioritizing what orders are being made and find a way of keeping track of mobile orders that are late/someone has already come to pick up. read more

Not to be the guy putting this place at one star for no reason. I love Dutch Bros, but this one sucks. To begin, the service was awful. Me, my girlfriend and the woman in front of us were standing there in the 110 degree heat in line because we figured it would be quicker than the drive thru just to have the several of the staff come up to the window just to yap with there friends who were at the very front. This went on for about 2-3 minutes with us just standing there waiting while the staff couldn't care less. That along with the fact that they were out of ALL food products except muffin tops was sad enough, but when the young woman at the front heard I wasn't going to leave a good review she immediately started acting rude to me and my girlfriend by having an attitude when we picked up our order. I'm not in this area often, but when I found myself nearby today I was pleased to see a new location here. It is definitely pretty new and one way in and out to get to the drive thru right now due to construction around it on other buildings/parking lot. I was even happier to see no line when I pulled up. Besides one car I was the only one there. There was an employee standing outside to take my order. She was happy, friendly and we had a great little conversation while I ordered until another car pulled up. She stated I came at a great time because it does get pretty busy after the high school gets out. Once I ordered I pulled up as far as I could. There was a sign in front of the window stating there's been a bee issue so they would bring the drink out to my car. Hopefully it's taken care of soon so they can be as efficient as possible. The drive thru is a two lane one that merges like the other newer locations. It's a lot better in my opinion. The walk up area is good size and shaded with tables. The employee bringing out my cold brew was just as wonderful as the first and I was on my way in minutes. I knew instantly that my drink was just how I like it by the color and I was correct. Perfect amount of flavoring and cream. Yum! Great job guys! read more
