This coffee shop is always busy. And I find the walk up servicr counter agreeable since I bike everywhere. I was greeted and serviced today by a smiling, cheerful employee, way different than my 1st visit. It was of some surprise that I tried this place a 2nd time. Sheer convenience. But, different enough service to renew my faith and bump from 2 to 4 stars. 1st visit review: I don't get it. How is this place popular? Perhaps it was the rude, poor customer service that tainted my coffee experience. But when the server did not wipe the cream dripping down off the side if the cup, and acted put out when I asked him to do so, it left me thinking, "am I in Snottsdale"? I guess the coffee drink was okay. But I still don't get it. At some point they will run out of customers. BUSINESS REBUTTAL: Say what? You want me to reach out to someone in your company to suggest improvements. What is my motivation? Incentives? Good will? Was I unclear in the review? To the point, I highly doubt I will return for a 2nd try. Why should i? Great service? A happy experience? The staff is your own personal fan club complete with coffee! Easily one of my favorite Dutch Bros locations because of the wonderful employees but one of my least favorite locations because of that darn line. Can I ever be here with less than 5 people in front of me? Oh, well. Way to help me figure out how to get more liquid gold into a smaller cup. Cold pour = no ice. And topped it off. You rock, D.Bros! I love me some Dutch Bros! This place is always fast with the order, and never messes it up, which does happen rarely but as the DB's are always so busy it happens and I don't get upset about it. Was in Arizona and this place is an Arizona trendy spot. I decided to try it. The people are friendly and talk. That is why the lines are long- because they talk. This is a place you go to socialize when you get your coffee. If you like to talk about your life when you order coffee this is a place for you. Waited in line for a good 8/10 min in the cold while the girl taking orders was chatting away with two customers. I was really wanting a hot drink since it has been so cold and no she kept chatting and chatting away, the drive through I swear a good 10 cars went through while she was talking. I left and I am so annoyed with the customer service. She should've talked to them more after taking a couple orders, there was 2 of us in line. 30+ minutes in line. I'm going to be late for work. I got in line at 0705. It's 0740. Still 5 cars in front of me.

This by far the slowest dutch bros I have ever been to. I watched staff "hang out" and goof off with other employees out front while the line kept growing. I waited over 45 minutes to get my coffee, keep in mind there was only 10 cars in-front of me. A coffee run should neverrrrr take that long. I got a large tea marmalade drink. I got it with no ice and the lady fillies it to half of the cup. She stated that it had too much ice originally and that's how much she can sell me even though I paid for a LARGE TEA. I reached out to headquarters and they stated that if I wanted a FULL large tea I would have to pay more to get it because a regular large tea is originally half the cup. What sense does this make? This dutch is the closest to me, I come here a lot. The coffee is great. But the wait is always too long , it's a given it's Dutch. However I feel they could spend less time socializing among them selves and off the clock Dutch employees, and more time on the drive line/walk up line. The way the line is laid out at this Dutch is the most idiotic design ever. You get in the shortest line and then even if you were there before other cars you just continue to get cut regardless of if you arrived first. Then the orders are out of order. I've been to this location plenty of times since I moved 4 years ago and to be honest, I wasn't always pleased with the customer service. but I went two days in a row this weekend and the staff were incredible!!!! My favorite Dutch crew yet. Two separate girls with the best attitudes and our girl today even hung around and chatted for a bit. Love this location and love this company's mission! Found this location to be perfectly located considering it's proximity to Banner Desert and have not found any issues with it being crowded in the wee early mornings before sunrise. The staff here are genuinely nice and bubbly, which makes it tolerable and a great way to start a morning- even if you're not a morning person, like myself. The past two times, I've gotten a recommendation as well as a surprise flavor added to my iced coffee drinks and loved them both. Not too sweet, great caffeine buzz and speedy service with positive vibes and a smile. This location is top notch at having 6-8 employees inside talking while there's about 15+ cars (often more) and a line all the way around, while they take orders one at time. I absolutely love being stuck in this line for an hour, while other locations take orders outside and expedite the process. Now of course some times they ruin long wait by having someone outside taking orders but it's a generally safe bet that you'll. Bring a book and enjoy the wait at this wonderfully lazy Dutch location. Oh but don't worry they still have enough energy to talk your ear off, just not to tap on an iPad. read more

The service in this alma school road location is absolutely fantastic. The employees that work here are super energetic and fun!! It made my day being greeted with such enthusiasm. This was my first time in years to have Dutch bros since I'm not from the west coast and they were so excited to have me back! I asked what drinks would they recommend to someone who liked caramel so he ordered the golden eagle for me (I think that was what it's called? The names are so unique which is another reason why I love this place). It's pretty much a iced caramel macchiato but a more vanilla, creamy version. THEN since it was my first time in forever they put my drink on the house and covered it! When I pulled up to the drive thru to receive my *blessed* drink, all the employees including the guy that took my order outside came in to say hey and that they were so excited for a first-time-in-a-long-timer to try Dutch bros again. I started back up at school and there happens to be one on the next street and they are open early to grab a morning cup of tea.
