Dutch bros is great as always, but this location has probably the longest wait out of all of them, with one of the shorter lines :/

First time at this location, but all Dutch Brothers seem to be fairly consistent. My order was taken while still in line by someone with an iPad so it was ready as soon as I was at the window, though they didn't have the payment accessory so it still took some time at the window to get my order. I always order a Double Torture because I'm here for the espresso, not some fancy might-as-well-be-a-milk-shake drink. I absolutely love their coffee so I'll keep coming back - but the overly friendly fake banter and ridiculously loud techno music needs to stop, and it's the same at every location. I just want my coffee and fast, not to make a new friend. read more

Across from where I work . The line is always lonnnnnggg! I tried their coffee for the first time since everyone in the office talks about how good their coffee is . Coffee is amazing! I am from California and was visiting the area and decided to give this place a try and I was not disappointed! Staff was so incredibly nice and patient when I was asking about the different kinds of coffee and the coffee did not disappoint. Went to this location 2 days in a row with my husband and we loved it but they don't have Dutch Bro's Coffee in our home state which stinks but we will keep an eye out for them! Walked up from our hotel and was greeted with the friendliest of welcomes. Coffee was fresh and delicious, son ordered a delicious and not too sweet smoothie. Staff was upbeat and working in unison moving the drive through lane expeditiously. Will definitely return for my daily coffee. read more

Waited for over 45-min as I watched employees talking to each other out back or giving their friends that came up well after me and other customers some drinks. Now, I'm sure some of the employees needs to take breaks but 45-mins later and no additional assistance. I wanted to leave but the drive thru is constructed to where once you're in you must stay. I had an extra 15-20 minutes before having to be somewhere, decided to stop to get some drinks for 4 of us. The line wasn't terrible however the car in front of me must have been a former employee or someone the staff knew. They all decided to talk to her and held up the line, not a huge deal to me....when the car gets to the window it takes longer than usual. Unfortunately, I had to honk and cars behind me honked as well. I'm all for customer service and I know employees talk to you which is perfectly fine but this was unacceptable. So first off I'll be very fair the service was very friendly and everyone was super nice, and you definitely get what you pay for. The drinks are huge and the price is low! But I really don't understand why people go nuts for this place. I ordered the Cocomo, and was under the impression that it was supposed to be at coconut coffee chocolatey flavored beverage. This Dutch has always been busy, so I'm not upset by that, I expect it. However there are always employees coming in off shift and distracting those who are working. They come out of the store while on shift, stop taking orders and chat with their friends. Today there was a long line at the window, and two young girls who work there and were off shift walked up to the window, acting like they were just gonna say hi to their coworker, and then they slyly ordered some drinks. They totally cut everyone, and then talked to their friend for 20 minutes. The barista they were talking to then made their drinks ahead of everyone else who already ordered. We were all sitting there for almost 30 minutes while drive thru orders were flying. Two other employees came out during this exchange and just caused the distraction to go on even longer, just chatting and holding everything up more. Once our drinks were finally ready...they were WRONG. We didn't want to even bother getting back in line. Dutch is not what it used to be, the employees are just a bunch of high school kids in cliques serving each other free drinks. The paying customers are not a priority bc there's zero adult supervision. read more

I'll give 2 stars for supporting our youth and always having young high school to early college kids working at all your spots but I'm not into all the sweet drinks. When I want coffee, I just want coffee. I don't need whip cream, egg nog flavor, white angels, cinnabuns, ect in my coffee. I just want a large regular hot coffee with 6 creamers and no sugar. I ordered that today and was charged $3.75. A regular hot coffee is never that much anywhere else. I felt like I paid dessert price for something that's not sweet or a speciality. Then again maybe a regular coffee is a speciality at Dutch Bros since people that come here probably never order it. Why call it an Americana? Are you charging me more just cause you changed the name of a regular coffee to something else? I'll stick with McDonalds, Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, QT, Circle K, ect. How fun is Dutch brothers. All my friends have been telling me I needed to try them because they were jumping ship from being Starbucks lover to Dutch brothers followers. I couldn't believe it until I ordered my drink. The Golden Rev which is the equivalent to a Starbucks Carmel macchiato. Wow!!! Really good and what also made it such a great experience was the customers we spoke to while we were ordering our coffee. There's something very intriguing about setting up shop in Mesa, AZ. It's notoriously known among Phoenicians that businesses typically come to die in Mesa, yet, this Dutch Bros location has stood the test of time. I would come back here on a more regular basis, but, I have since moved away from Mesa and am only here on the rare occasion of business. Otherwise, you can find me yelping predominantly in the south/central/north Phoenix areas. Or the rare travel sesh out of state. Anyway, Dutch Bros! Man, there is never a location with poor service. This location has a staff with eccentric hair colors and a great team personality that never fails to deliver. Recently I came out here for a Ninja Turtle frost, which, if you don't know what this is, you need to google "Dutch Bros secret menu", because their menu offerings on there are GREAT and in my opinion, pair well to their already strong traditional fare menu. The only real negative I have for this location is that their drive thru is terrible. Since they connect right next to a roundabout mall driveway, you constantly have cars stacked up awkwardly while non-Dutch Bros customers are trying to get through all the traffic intended for Dutch Bros. read more

This is the second time I've ever gone to Dutch bros, and the customer service is actually really amazing, the lady who took my order was really sweet and didn't have any attitude or negative energy and the guy, at the window, Joey he is amazing, I was surprised honestly you don't get a lot of good customer service of genuine care much these days, but it seemed Joey takes ownership of his work and from my eyes he actually likes to connect with his guests, which for my eyes it's something I really enjoy to see. 1 coffee run that touched my soul !!! ( I wrote this in March 2017 but apparently never finished the posting. This took place in 2015 and I still think about it often.) I have loved Dutch since my first trip and they have always been my first choice now it is my only choice. In September my 15 month old was in the hospital and Dutch became my fuel. I had gone earlier in the morning around 8 and placed my order and received the normally friendly chatter and was asked about the hospital band on my wrist, I casually explained my son was in the hospital, they offered thier good wishes and prayers. At that time we were expecting to go home that evening. We did not get to go home that night, in fact our visit would be extended. I had to run home to get some things and on my way home I stopped again (I needed my recharge )the man taking orders outside in the line was working another shift and remembered me from earlier and asked if I was on my way home. For some reason I felt compelled to open up to this stranger and told him we were staying because my son has a brain tumor and was going to need surgery. Again he offered his prayers, when I got to the window the young man there said he heard it was having a hard day and offered to buy my drink for me. Further he asked if he could pray for me. He and the others stopped, joined hands and reached through for mine. There with a line of people waiting they took the time to pray for my son. Most Dutch Bros accrue a busy line but they are always so good about satisfying their customers at a quick pace. I had gone through their line this morning and received I drink I ended up not liking. I returned a bit later with a full cup and explained the situation to them. They were more than happy to try the drink again and make some additions to it in order for me to enjoy the taste more. The first thing I have to say is that I hate that there are no Dutch Brothers in San Diego. So if you could open one up anywhere close by, that would be great. Other than that complaint, I have none. I love that there are so many great and different choices on the menu for anything you could want. The baristas are always so sweet, and even though I was only in Mesa for one weekend, they somehow remembered me when I came each day. I am so incredibly frustrated with this location. They are taking orders in line at the drive thru, but still allowing cars to order additional items at the window. I have literally been in the line for 25 minutes, and there were only 10 cars in front of me. No wonder there is always a long line when I drive by. WATCH THIS PLACE!!! They are trying to sell medium sized drinks and charge large prices and there "justification" for this, they make up for it by the amount of ice they put in!! But yet it's the same amount of liquid and ice in both cups!!! And then wants to flat out argue.. Pretty good. I had the og gummy bear tea and the double rainbow tea and those were delicious. I've had the americano coffee and that is also a delight. I've gotten the birthday cake frost for my daughters and they love it. It's pretty good. I love the caps they use for the kids drinks. Makes it easy to avoid messes in the car. I have to try this place a little more before I can give it a full 5stars. The line was a little long so they must be doing something right. They have very friendly staff.
