Worst location I've been to. If you cannot adequately staff this broom closet maybe do not take on the task of mobile ordering. We used to love coming here, my kid loves it. Used to feel like we knew everyone but now it's been a revolving door of new people on a regular basis who just can't seem to get it together. Ordered my drink at 9:01 on Wednesday morning to be told at 9:20 it would be a 10-15 min wait, that's fine it's busy but when you tell me you can't find my mobile order at 9:40 then I'm going to be irritated. This place is always BUSY! Staff are very nice and accommodating. I ordered on the app for easy and quick curbside pickup. It is a blessing and so easy to use however the customization on blended drinks can be updated to add sugar-free syrups. I tried the iced caramel pumpkin Brulé and it was yummy. I have always heard about dutch bros but never had the chance to visit a location until today. There is suitable parking spaces here but looks to be designed as a drivethru-style coffee pickup station. I was really confused on what to order as there is no big display for menu items when waiting in line inside a vehicle unless you walk up to the actual building. Luckily, there is an app available for download so when I return I will definitely opt in for ordering through there as I assume a full menu will be available. The lady outside taking orders was very friendly and took her time with explaining some of the menu items as well as offering some of her recommendations which really left a good impression of their service. I recently just started coming here because Starbucks wasn't making my drinks correctly, I live near this DB location now so I've been stopping by and, I haven't had a bad drink yet. I never try new things, or it's rare that I do, I've had a different drink every time and they're all wonderful. It may not be my cup of tea but the flavoring and how it's made, it's so good. I'm less than 10 drinks in and they're all delicious. The long line makes up for the customer service and the drink. The service is so fast, I was at a concord location & the drink came WAY sooner than expected. Idk what it is but the service is top tier. I've been going to the Dutch Bros since they opened, this location hasn't been good since the first crew! Takes forever to make your drinks, are rude when you ask for any changes to your drink when made wrong, and their customer service is absolutely terrible! When walking up to the walk up window, you would expect your order to be made first, but apparently they like to make you wait for everybody in the drive-through to get their drink first! This has happened to me every time I walk up to the window, they serve all of the people in their cars before they serve any of the people at the window. I don't think it's right to put the drive-through first when you have people that have been waiting 20 to 30 minutes at the window for their. I've been told by them to contact customer service, customer service does absolutely nothing and nothing changes at this location. I hope the Hillcrest location puts this one out of business, or maybe that the employees and staff can figure out a better system because reading other comments on here it seems like this is a recurring theme read more

It was a very hot day today with incredibly long lines going through the drive-thru window. I decided to park the car in the parking lot and order from the walk-up window instead. I ordered the Annihilator with ice by using the free welcome drink promotion that I got from their app. Waited 20+ minutes for the drink. There were 2 or 3 parties behind me who actually got their drinks before me. I decided to check on my drink and it turns out that there's no such order. I opened the app again, and I can see my welcome promo was claimed, so it was definitely ordered. But the worker was nice and made my drink really fast even though she didn't see it in the system. Yesterday was the first time I went out since COVID-19. I was in need of a cold and refreshing drink. So I decided to go to one of our local coffee shops. Dutch Bros is just a drive-thru, there's no sit downs, You just go to order, pick up and then be on your way. Which was perfect in regards to our current COVID situation. Anyway, the line was super long but it, I was surprised at how fast the line moved. I think there were maybe 10-12 cars ahead of us and only took 15 minutes. It was awesome. I ordered a caramel-mocha and it was delicious, sweet, and refreshing. I also ordered a kid size milk shake, a chai, and the one and only Annihilator. The staff were fast and friendly and had such great attitudes and yes they wore PPE. So don't be scared to gets drinks :). read more

This location is crawling with flies. As I stood waiting for my order to be taken at the window I noticed about 50 flies in the stand. They were landing on drinks, waiting to be passed out the window and they were on every surface. I would start checking your drinks for dead flies because it looks like they're raising a colony in there . also, The staff at this location are horrendously incompetent. The past five times I have came and ordered, my drinks have been wrong. when I asked to speak to a manager about the flies, I was told by a worker that her manager had already "handled it." I absolutely love Dutch Bros but this location has been slacking recently. I've had to wait 20-30 minutes even when I place an order on the app ahead of time. I ordered a drink and went up to the window to check in. The woman asked for my name and then said they were working on it right then and it would be out in a few minutes. 10 minutes go by and the woman comes up to me again to ask my name to check the status and turns out they didn't even have my order in their system even though I ordered it to the Oakley location. So she didn't even check the first time so I waited 10 minutes for nothing and then had to wait another 10 for them to make my drink after she had put my order in herself. There was also another woman who ordered before me and waited 40 minutes for her two drinks. Dutch Bros has gotten ugly. They seem not to care, as the quality of the service and drinks has gone down Hill. I recently provided feedback after several bad experiences at one Dutch Bros, and the customer service seem to deflect the concern. In the response, the agent stated " In regards to the lack of flavor, we just want to share that we've recently adjusted our flavor combinations to help us best craft your perfect drink". So either she felt the problem was with my inability to appreciate their perfect drink, or Dutch Bros thinks the "perfect drink" just has no flavor. Maybe it's both. I am sorry, but when your lines are long and slow, and your prices are ridiculously high, you at least need to keep the quality up and back your product with good service. Dutch Bros seems to have become an experiment in testing how stupid the consumer is and how much they can do poorly and still have customers. Dutch Bros used to be the alternative to an overly corporate-driven Starbucks. Now they are just as bad as a Starbucks, only with self-important, high school students running the show. BTW, included is a photo of the blended Rebel I received, already noticeably partially melted upon delivery, and this was after the "broista" tried to fix the blended drink that was served nearly completely liquified. read more

We got introduced by our cousins to this drive-through coffee shop in Oakley and honestly I'd never heard of this place before. For those who are not familiar with this brand as well, they are a coffee chain originated from Grants Pass, Oregon. They offer a variety of coffee drinks (mostly iced coffee and blended ice coffee drinks) but they also offer kids-friendly drinks such as lemonades. I got a White Zombie from their Dutch Freeze menu. It's essentially a creamy espresso beverage with white chocolate and vanilla flavorings. Taste-wise, White Zombie tastes sweet and milky with notes of vanilla. I actually really enjoyed this drink. There was no place to sit down so it's impossible to rate the ambiance. People would either do a drive through or walk up to the order window. There was quite a long line of cars when we got there, but it seemed like they had a pretty good system down since their service was really quick. They took our order while we were still in the car and we paid right then and there, and after that, all we needed to do was to drive up to the window, where they would hand us our coffee. It was quite simple and painless. I would definitely go back to try their other drinks. read more

Possibly my next favorite coffee next to Philz. Love the flavored coffee concoctions they have in store. Most of their stores are small shacks, at least in NorCal. I've been to a much bigger store but it's way down south in Cali (can't remember where) but I have been frequenting Dutch Bros in the last 5 years or so. There was even a time I drove all the way to Fairfield to get my coffee fix. That's how much I was craving for it. My go-to is the Grasshopper (mocha with mint) which is off the menu. I love how you can also turn your drinks sugar-free! May not be totally sugarfree but it wouldn't hurt to ask. P.S. Tip - if you're a first timer, let them know and your drink will be on the house. They will also give you a stamp card with hella stamps on it. Like maybe one more stamp before you get another free drink. read more

I would rather drive an additional 15 minutes to the Brentwood Dutch Bros. This location is always packed on the weekends- great for business. However, they're extremely slow in the drive through and at the walk up window. My biggest issue is they can not keep track of which drinks they have and have not made at the walk up window. When I asked about a drink I was waiting for, one of the girls was very snooty and told me I took some one else's drink... it was just me another guy, and a couple waiting out front. The guy told me he was waiting for a coffee and the couple told me I didn't take their drink... sounds like Dutch Bros can't keep track of their orders to me.
