Oh how I wish we had one in the OC. Right off the 5 which is very convenient. We parked and ordered at the counter but it probably would have been faster through drive thru. We ordered with the girl on her iPad. It would be helpful to have their menu outside but luckily we downloaded the app so we knew what to expect. I ended up ordering my own combo and got the lemon poppyseed muffin top. It then took quite a bit of time as we waited. This is where we noticed the car behind us that went through drive thru left while we were still waiting. We did see so many colorful drinks while we waited. The drive-thru was so efficient I didn't have time to panic over what holiday themed drink I wanted to order. There aren't too many Dutch Bros in SoCal just yet but it's nice to see more coming into play! This one had the usual menu bopping around as well as their winter specials. The drinks are usually pretty solid and this time was no exception, being just caffeinated enough, just sweet enough, just enough for a good time to get through the morning. I had my drink remade three times. All I wanted was an unsweetened Matcha with oat milk, which they told me all three times were unsweetened. It was extremely sweet. The only thing you could taste was sugar. I appreciate the employees for remaking it for me, but I am now 15 minutes late for work and down $10 for a drink. I'm not even gonna have. This is probably more of a 3.5. Dutch Bros Coffee is a really great option for some coffee on the go. They have a huge menu with a variety of both coffee and non-coffee options. When I got to the Oceanside location, the line for the two lane drive through was snaking around the parking lot, so I opted to park and order at the walk-up window. I ordered their current special, the Chocolate Crunch Cold Brew, which is their cold brew with dark chocolate sauce, chocolate macadamia nut flavor and chocolate milk topped with Soft Top and cookie pieces (I ordered it with oat milk). It was a tasty combo of flavors, and surprisingly not too sweet, but the coffee flavor wasn't quite as strong as I would like. I would say it met my expectations as a cold brew from a fast/drive-through style coffee chain. Service was friendly and fast given the big line of people that was there when we arrived. read more

How can this place receive anything other than 5 stars! Absolutely wonderful coffee and even more amazing service! Both the ladies that helped us were super nice and recommended the golden eagle which has a great vanilla taste with a good amount of sweetness. If you want it any less sweet just ask and it might be perfect for you! My friend got the annihilator with no sugar and it still was such fragrant and delicious coffee! Love Dutch Bros. I don't have one anywhere near me so anytime I'm close to one I always stop. Had never been to this location and when I arrived the drive thru line looked pretty long. I got into the line and then started second guessing if I had the time (had about another hour to drive and needed to arrive promptly). They have two lanes and I was about 15 cars back combined. They had about 3 or 4 staff outside taking orders so I decided to hope and give it a chance. Less than 10 minutes later I was on the freeway again! The efficiency is extraordinary! read more

FINALLY got the chance to try this spot. Figured it was good, given that the lines are always outrageous. Our "broista" was lovely and extremely helpful with helping me find something I would like. Looking at the menu, 98% of the drinks contain over 50g of sugar, and I generally link flat whites. The Kicker, quarter sweet, with the addition of a soft top... HEAVEN! I love this place it, I've never been to a Dutch bros ever but it was super good the first time I tried it. I got an eclipse frozen lemonade and a pup cup for my kitty that I brought. The drink was so sweet and really pretty. The workers were so sweet! They gave us a little pocket menu to see the menu which was super sweet and all loved our kitty we brought. Ash was helping us and Ash was super nice and patient with our order. The place is brand new and looks super nice and clean. When I finally got my order taken and went up to the window, the lady spilled my drink on my pants. I didn't even bother talking to her about it, I was over it. Ok, I'm hooked on this place... the dark chocolate breve with a soft top is my new guilty pleasure and I've been hitting this place every week, sometimes more than once. The people that work here are perky, just like my coffee, and I dig the vibe they present. The line can be long, so I make sure to get up on the earlier side, so I don't get looped around the parking lot, but once I get my coffee, all is forgotten. The muffin tops here are tasty; they are refrigerated, but they are tastefully composed with a fair amount of sweetness. I pass about 5 Starbucks just to get to this place and I wish they would open one closer to me. When I drove to Sedona, I was able to hit this place about 3 times in a week. Nirvana! read more

This was my first time trying Dutch Bros and it did not disappoint! The drive through employee was very friendly and patient with my friends. We had a lot of questions trying to decide what drink combinations we wanted and she was very helpful. When we got to the drive through, the employee had a whole conversation with us while we were waiting for our drinks asking about our day plans. First time here and we let it be known. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. They told us to download the app and they helped us giving us points as well. Didn't know what to get but I needed something strong for a long drive and my guests something sweet. The employees took their time to describe many drink options. Finally decided on something nitro really strong but perfect for me to stay awake. My guests chose American eagle I think is the name. We did all this while being in the drive through. The ambience was relaxing even with the long lines. The drive through set up is similar to in n out but the line moves quickly. I would recommend although I know most locations are far from the westside but I would say worth your time to try.
