I ordered a blended Rebel through the app ahead of time because I was in a rush and expected it to be ready for quick pickup when I arrived. While my order *was* ready, the problem was there was no way to access the pickup window. The entrance was blocked off with cones, forcing me to sit through the full drive thru line anyway. I mentioned this to the employee going to cars taking orders, since it defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead. If customers can't actually pick up their orders quickly, then online ordering at this location doesn't really make sense. By the time I finally got my drink, it was already half melted, which was disappointing considering it had clearly been sitting there for a while. This location is strictly drive-thru with no real space to, sit and enjoy your drink. Overall, frustrating experience and definitely not what I expected from ordering ahead. read more

I'm so happy I finally found d a drink I like at Dutch Bros! My friends and family swear by DB and I did t get why until today. I don't really like coffee and I don't like overly sweet drinks so I kept trying different options and found a new favorite, their iced mocha no sugar added. I made it decaf and switched it to half sweet. It was perfect! The app is so easy, I chose walk up to pick up my drink. The employee at the window was so friendly and prompt. It was my first visit to the Magnolia location and I would definitely go back again despite its kinda strange logistics getting in. So glad I didn't give up on Dutch. This is my go to place for an iced latte! It's real creamy and delicious it's about $6 for a medium one. They put a bit too much ice though. You take a few spa and it's gone. Sometimes there is a long line and sometimes there is not, depends on when you go. They serve drinks and muffin tops, not much else. read more

First time at this location. Yes, the drive thru lines are long but move fairly quickly. The employees here aren't as friendly or personable as other Dutch Bros locations. However, there was one person that hustled & kept the line moving by running out and delivering drinks to cars that were close to the drive thru pick up window. She did that for us as well, and we appreciated not having to wait too long (and there were 3 cars ahead of us still waiting for their orders). Drinks are consistent as other Dutch Bros locations, so you'll be sure to be satisfied with whatever your favorite or go to drinks are. Today I ordered a blended caramelizer which was definitely sweet and gave me my caffeine fix. This newly opened location in Riverside is my first experience with Dutch Bros. The menu has a wide variety from classic coffee or blended iced coffee to unique items such as protein coffee and energy drinks. They also offer a bunch of flavored syrups, which seem to be the foundation of the menu. I've tried a few drinks, but the Golden Eagle and the Horchata blended freeze were my favorites. However, I will note that these drinks were extremely sweet and sugary! In the future, I'd have to look into getting drinks less sweet or if they have alternative sweeteners, but personally, I would consider Dutch Bros. to be a once in a while sweet-treat type of coffee spot, and not an everyday place. My biggest issue was the drive through itself and the lack in efficiency. All times I've visited have been very busy with a 20+ minute wait. There are a few crew members out in the drive thru taking orders (think In-N-Out or Chick-Fil-A drive through style), but they don't have menus on hand and tell you to use your phone and look it up. There are 2 drive through lines that end up merging into one lane. After taking your order, the crew member tells you which car to be behind during the merge so that pickups at the window remain in order. However, I've had some instances where the crew members speak way too fast and move on to the next car that I couldn't understand what to do. Also, you cannot enter the drive-thru line through Taft Street, since they don't want cars blocking the residential area. You must enter the line through the Magnolia Avenue entrance. All in all, Dutch Bros. isn't my personal cup of tea since the drinks are just so so sweet and the drive-through process isn't the best. I'm not sure if this is just how things operate at all Dutch Bros. locations but I do think they could really improve on efficiency here. read more

The line's kinda long, but it moves fast and it's always worth it. A large is huge--probably the biggest coffee I've ever ordered. Located at the corner of Magnolia Ave & Roosevelt St. The drive-thru has two lanes, and instead of a speaker system, a staff member walks up to your vehicle to take your order during peak times, which keeps the lines moving quickly. When not busy, you drive-up to the window and order. There's also a walk-up window. Limited parking. I ordered on their app and found out the hard way that you have to "Check-In at the window" when you arrive, so I ended up waiting longer than I should have. It was pretty busy during the afternoon hours. The service was friendly, but a bit slow overall for a place designed for "on the go" customers. Their menu consists of protein and classic coffee options, shakes, smoothies, chai, matcha, lemonade, energy drinks, and limited snacks such as muffin tops. I tried their iced 'Raspberry Matcha Latte' with Strawberry Poppin' Boba. I expected a milky, latte-like consistency and taste, but the drink was surprisingly watery and lacked any real matcha flavor. While refreshing on a sunny afternoon, it definitely wasn't what I anticipated. Overall, it was a decent visit, but I might try a different menu item next time. read more

So I was behind a vehicle for some time waiting to place my order when a driver pulls up at the same time the employee finished the order. Instead of recognizing I've been there for a quick minute, they skipped me and went to them. I understand there is back and forth policy but not when I was politely standing by. First time coming to this location which is on Magnolia Ave and Roosevelt in Riverside. Large parking area and drive thru. I got their Jingle Nog Latte today and it was quite interesting. Great pick me up. Popular place and long lines. Their hazelnut truffle mocha freeze was interesting. Maybe long lines due to holiday seasonal flavors. Was too eager to try my drink as soon as I got it (as seen in the photo) because it was my first time here! I came with my mom and we had no idea what to expect, but the only "downside" was the 30m wait if you you've got somewhere to be. If not, hang out and vibe! Christina helped us with our order and since I'm so incredibly bad at picking, I asked if she'd build me something Chai and she did! At first it was a Mystery Chai, but she ended up creating a Golden Eagle Chai with Banana Soft Top and Pumpkin Caramel add-ins. It was the bee's knees. She recommended the perfect drink for my mom who's a coffee lover. It was a great first experience! I think this establishment gets a lot of flack for the time it takes them to make the drinks, but from my observation alone there were packed cars of 5-6 people inside for 3 cars in a row at some point and if they all order something, that's around ~18 drinks they have to make for just 3 cars! I used the Dutch Bros app thinking it would save time--big mistake. Apparently, they don't start making your drink until you confirm you're there, which defeats the whole purpose of mobile ordering. So unless you enjoy standing in line watching people get their drinks faster than you, don't bother. I waited over an hour for two drinks. They brought one out... and then made me wait another 30 minutes for the second. Why even bring one out if the other isn't ready?? Ever heard of batching orders? The whole place felt totally unorganized. Staff looked confused and untrained, running around like they just opened five minutes ago. Honestly, I should've just asked for a refund and left. I see people use order ahead and still wait just as long as everyone else. I was having a rough morning (toddler meltdown and all) and drove up just hoping to grab a drink and survive the day. Rebecca was the barista who took my order, and she was seriously the sweetest person ever. She didn't rush me, she listened to what I liked, and she explained different drink options with so much patience and kindness. You could just tell she genuinely cared about helping me find something I'd enjoy. On top of that, she made my daughter laugh and join in our conversation while we waited. That alone changed the whole vibe of our morning. What started off stressful turned into such a positive moment.
