This place is perfect! I got to pet the ginger cats and the black one ran away from me lol! The owner was still setting up the place when I arrived, so I strolled around. Loved the grove atmosphere. The coffee & tea menu is extensive and I got a Toffee Crunch latte which was perfect in taste and temperature. I will be back to grab their botanicals menu. Highly recommend it. Great for post workout/run hangout!

Update- This is the receipt for clarification.

It's so overpriced. and i don't mean the usual "oh my coffee is $9". NO. our total for 2 people was a whopping $60 dollars. Let me break it down for you. We get there, she's nice there's no line. We didn't order speciality lattes, we ordered off the regular menu that clearly stated $8 lattes. 2 Avocado toasts that were $26. This lady charges for THE FLAVORS THAT ARE INSIDE THE COFFEE. The menu unfortunately says $7 lattes and it has a list of lattes but she will charge you for the flavor that the lattes come with, NOT an add on flavor you chose. So it's $7 + $1.25 each flavor that's inside the drink you picked. We asked for mediums, that's an extra $1.75. SHE HAS A DELIVERY FEE ?????. We were there in person and walked up to get our drinks so I don't know where that delivery fee came from. And she auto tipped herself $7 so there's that too. It's cute but not $60 cute.

Fun place to try some Instagram drinks. The food and coffee were all great. I spent almost 50$ for two drinks and two food items so it isn't cheap but worth the trip. Server was friendly -and the garden area is nice to walk through.

I mean it was good.. like it's pretty and all but the pricing is low-key insane .. 11.50 for a medium coffee that looks like a small.. service was great she's very sweet!

Driving on a random back street I saw signs for Tuxedo Cat's Coffee. As you enter the area, it is filled with large trees and lush dense landscape. I enjoyed one of their summer menu items, The Beachy Banana, which was more of a smoothie than a coffee, which is exactly what I wanted on this warm summer day. The gal that helped me was very kind and I appreciated that they had milk alternatives available for vegans or those who are lactose intolerant. I'm glad I stumbled upon this gem.

I can't tell you how many times I have passed this place in my truck and said to myself, "Self, you need to stop in there one day." But, since I always passed it because I was on my way somewhere, I never did. That all changed today, but let me set the tone... On Sunday, I needed to install something in my travel trailer which is parked on Grissom Road. I decided it would be fun to hike over there taking bird photos along the way. I wanted to stop at Tuxedo Cat's on the way back. Unfortunately, it was closed. I ended up just having a nice walk, and putting a walk to Tuxedo Cat's on my calendar for today. It is exactly 1.2 miles to Tuxedo Cat's from my house, which makes it a great round trip of almost two and a half miles. I follow a back road called Lowbid Lane that, although highly littered, also has some great birding along the way. Today was no exception, as I saw several hawks, a loggerhead shrike, and many of my other customary favorites. When I got to Tuxedo Cat's, I was the only one there. The lovely barrista, who I assumed was the owner, was very nice and friendly. I asked her what her best drink was, and she pointed out some nice ones. I opted for the William Shakespeare, which wasn't even a coffee. The menu describes it as "A golden milk latte infused with turmeric, ginger, maca, raw honey,  and a dash of cinnamon. It sounded very exotic- I don't even know what maca is! Since I love exotic flavors, that's what I got. After a pleasant conversation, I settled on one of the picnic tables to enjoy my drink. The area is surrounded with beautiful potted palms and looks like a little tiny Shangri La. I had no problem imagining that I was in the mountains of Tibet drinking a warm tea with yak butter in it. In fact, the drink itself was a magical gold color. I loved everything about my experience and left knowing that I would return soon. I ended up returning sooner that expected, when three hours later I could not find my wallet in my house. I drove my truck slowly along the path I had walked earlier, but saw nothing. I went into Tuxedo Cat's and told the owner that I was looking for my wallet. She told me nobody had turned one over to her, so I went to my table from earlier to look for it. Surely enough, it was undisturbed and intact on the ground under the bench where I had been sitting. I was happy. The owner was happy. My wife was happy. Heck... It was just a happy day altogether! Can't wait to go back.

I love when I find hidden gems like these. This coffee truck is located at Palm Buddha. It offers a good selection of coffee and tea. I have to admit that I don't drink coffee and typically get a tea latte. Most places only have chai or matcha lattes available. I was happy to see that this place had other combinations. I decided on the cat eye: milk, chamomile and mint. I had mine with almond milk, no sugar and some lemon. It was a superb combination. You can take your drink to go or you can enjoy it there. They have a few picnic tables or you can walk around the garden center. Parking is limited. You can park along the fence, just don't block the garden center drive way.

honestly this place is such a vibe. i love that it's located inside a nursery & the sitting area is surrounded by plant, very beautiful! the customer service was great as well but unfortunately i left feeling scammed. i ordered a regular iced caramel latte & a lavender matcha. my total was $31.88 THEN she preselected to tip herself $9 making my total = $40.88 for TWO drinks. the price is outrageous. adding an auto 28% tip is wild. I will never come back.

Thanks to Yelp for helping me find this little gem of a coffee shop near me. This was a little hitched coffee food truck situated inside the parking lot of the Garden Center. The lady running it was super nice and down to earth. Their coffee menu is different and varied. They even have a cat chilling around there. The owner does have a tuxedo cat but was inside the truck. They have picnic tables set up adjacent to the truck and the area and truck were decorated. I ordered the vanilla Madagascar latte. The presentation of the iced coffee drinks were lively and I did enjoy it. They had golden milk and other teas I want to come back and try out. The drinks took awhile to make but it was just a one woman stop shop, but overall a great experience.

Day off means coffee exploration! (Mask and Hand Sanitizer Edition!) To be honest I don't remember how I started following Tuxedo Cat's Coffee on Instagram. I think they were namedropped through Miss Chickpea's? I don't know. What I DO know, is I wanted to stop by, because it's located inside The Garden Center. What better way to spend my morning than with an iced coffee and looking at all the gorgeous plants (and meeting some cute kitties that inhabit the area!) The truck has a cat-pun based menu and offers a variety of drinks that can be served iced or hot. So many tasty things stood out but I opted for the Cathamandu, a matcha latte. The owner, whose name I did not catch, let me customize and even sample my drink to make sure it was absolutely perfect for me! (Oat milk, more on the earthy side, lots of chunky ice, and CBD!) She also offered me a side glass of ice water, because I had planned to enjoy my drink outside at the picnic tables near the trailer. A friendly little gray cat named Otto quickly made friends with me and kept me company. Friendliness oozes out of this place. The customer service was just stellar, and nothing makes you feel quite as special as being on the receiving end of attention from a cute kitty. (Who plays into the trailer's theme!) Tuxedo Cat's Coffee isn't in my usual stomping grounds so I can't make it a regular visit, BUT they have a generous loyalty card system which makes it oh-so-tempting to make returning visits!

The outside doesn't scream coffee shop , in fact it's kind of an "IYKYK" type places because it's right in plain sight and I passed it for awhile before knowing what it was. Thanks to the San Antonio coffee fb group for all of the recommendations! They have a pretty expansive menu as well as plenty of delicious looking baked goods ! They have some cbd options too but I didn't try any of those. I tried the iced texas Star - flavorful and great espresso flavor. I do wish they used smaller ice cubes so the drink would last just a tiny bit longer. I also tried their chocolate croissant. Good, but would've been better warmed up! I don't remember if they offered that. My friend had the matcha and she loved it. They recently got a new matcha and she was worried because she loved the other one but was pleasantly surprised how smooth and delicious this one was as well. I definitely need to go back and try their matcha as well as other menu items because everything sounds so good. 1 star taken off because it is very hard to navigate with a stroller which is a bummer because I know tons of moms that love to venture out and find new coffee shops. On the plus side, clean restrooms with a changing table which is hard to come by!

My sister and I stopped by Merit so I can try and rate the cortado for my silly little cortado review series. I also ordered the Purple Haze Latte and a poptart (courtesy of Bakery Lorraine). The cortado was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because normally Merit's coffee is too fruity (and a bit funky) for me, but this was bold and right and made my ears tingle. Nice and creamy, and not watery. A very top notch standard cortado. The purple haze tasted like relaxing on the beach. It even had little bits of dried ube on top, like a little purple sandy beach. I'm pretty glad Merit's making me re-think their beans. That cortado is something I still think about, even though it's been about a month since my visit.
