When i opened the sandwich, it looked exactly like my sons who ordered a regular grilled pork. There was no extra meat. My son took 2 bites and decided he didn't care for it. I took his sandwich filling and stuffed it into my sandwich. There, it finally looked like what i'm used to. Took one bite, and chewed on the driest meat you can think of. Even jerky had more moisture than what I had. My husband was the only one who finished his banh mi, but he wasn't impressed either. I will continue looking for a good, filling banh mi joint. I may come back for their pho though.

The coffee is just ridiculously good. The flavors are so good and incomparable to other coffee shops everything tastes so fresh and rich. The stores are always so cozy and inviting on the inside. I stopped eating it immediately, cut it open to check, and returned to the restaurant to request a refund. While I appreciate that my refund was processed, the way the situation was handled was extremely disappointing. The employee who assisted me was dismissive from the moment I walked in. When I tried to show my receipt, I was cut off and told it wasn't needed. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, especially considering I was returning food due to a legitimate food safety concern. What bothered me most was the complete lack of an apology or acknowledgment of the issue. A simple "I'm sorry" would have gone a long way. Instead, as I was leaving the restaurant, I overheard the employee loudly telling the kitchen that I was "complaining" about my food being raw, despite the fact that I was still within earshot. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. Undercooked food can be an honest error. However, customer service is how a business responds when something goes wrong, and unfortunately this experience was handled very poorly. Because of both the food issue and the way I was treated, I will not be returning.
