We spotted this awesome place that serves such yummy goodness while driving to our hiking destination. So, like what most sleepy couple would do, we stopped by and got our coffee fix. And because duh, who goes to Oregon and not try Dutch Bros Coffee? It was pretty busy upon our arrival - the line was long, lots of student walking up and the service was pretty slow. It was first day back after LDW and was a "late start" for the student. Not really sure what that meant. Thankfully, one of the baristas started taking orders outside from car to car, making it faster for everyone. So when we finally got to the window, all we had to do was grab our coffee and get our stamp. We got large iced Annihilator and as always, it was perfectly creamy, delicious and it woke us up almost immediately. Staff were also, as always, very friendly and nice and provides such awesome customer service. Two of my favorite things about Dutch Bros Coffee for sure! I probably won't be able to come back to this location again since I live all the way in the Bay Area but I'll make sure to keep visiting locations here in California and enjoy their oh so yummy coffee. read more

Makes sense why this is a relatively low rated DB for the usual rating. What's wrong with it is pretty clear, whether or not it'll be fixed is another story. At this point I've had so many negative first experiences at different DB locations, it's almost worth totally giving up. I don't want to..... I really don't, but I am wearing thin. This particular day was Mother's Day. It was before 10am and my hubby kiddos and I drove to DB for my daily Rebel. After waiting an atrociously long wait time (the line was maybe 4 cars deep in total) and receiving no apology from anyone on staff, I paid for my drink and as we drove off realized she never handed me my Mother's Day sticker. Bummer.... so not gonna jump out in my Dress to run over and grab a sticker, or get back in line. Moved on. I learned one more thing, apparently you CAN screw up a Rebel. Iced Sour Patch Rebel, that is. How do you mess that up?!? Well folks, they did. It tasted like regular energy drink, hardly any flavoring. Maybe a pump? It was awfully light in color. I'm a Dutch Bros fan to the point of silliness. Unfortunately, this location is inconsistent in it's service. Some days are good, others not so good. Today I was in line for at least 10 minutes which seemed excessive, without any apology or explanation. The folks who took my order and then dispensed my order seemed grumpy.... maybe it was a bad day? My drink was good, which is why they get 4 stars. Safety Tip: If you are allergic to bees you should avoid this location. They have a lot of bees hovering around the service windows most days, especially if it is sunny. read more

Today I went to this location I got terrible service I went because it was my friends birthday, and the girl would refuse to give her birthday drink for free. Just because she didn't have ID with her I feel like this is messed up because we felt like she didn't believe us when we told her it was her birthday that is honestly kind of disrespectful overall the service here is very rude and not very friendly. How I wish Dutch Bros was on the east coast or in the midwest! This place is AWESOME! Throughout my time in and around Portland, we visited about 4 times for our coffee needs. First of all, this is a drive/walk up coffee shop, so no sitting around working or doing homework like a traditional coffee shop. They usually have 2 lines going at one time, so you never have to wait very long. The people working are just about the nicest and most peppy people I've ever encountered in my life and they make you smile just because you can tell they like working here. As far as the coffee goes, I tried 2 different drinks. The first I tried was the Caramelizer iced and it was rich and delicious. My second and favorite drink was the Annihilator blended and man, that was awesome! It had a nutty and chocolate flavor and was blended up so nice. This is a busy Dutch Bros! It took about 15 minutes of waiting in line before getting to the window, but the workers here are awesome and made the wait worth it! The guy who took our order today was really helpful and patient as we asked questions about different things we could order and changed our original order. After his help, we decided on two dutch freeze or blended drinks and a strawberry smoothie. These were all first time drinks for us and we were very satisfied! The quality control at this location has dropped - a lot. For example: today I ordered an extra-hot skinny vanilla latte for my wife. I asked for extra-hot because I was taking the drink home to her. It was barely tepid. It did have vanilla flavor, however. For myself, I ordered a caramel latte. It had no caramel flavor in it. I was halfway home when I tasted it, and was not about to turn around and go back. This not the first time this DB shop has messed up an order. In fact, I now ask the coffee clerks to repeat the order back to me because they've gotten it wrong. This used to be a reliable coffee drive-through, but is slipping. You would think with the 'evil empire' coffee drive-up nearby, the quality control would be of prime concern. That being said, I still prefer DB over the other coffee guys. It is too bad this store's quality is dropping. Let's hope they can correct the path it's on. read more

Every time I go to this location my order gets messed up in some way. I ordered a carmelizer with oat milk and it just tastes like a cup of oat milk with barely any coffee. I also ordered an iced golden eagle with oat milk and the soft top sweet cream and not only did I not get the soft top but got regular milk instead of oat milk. I think they must hold a Nicest Person Contest annually, and offer all placing finalists jobs at Dutch Bros. Seriously, these are the most cheerful, personable baristas in the universe. The Woodburn location is especially outgoing. One of their employees drove all the way to south Salem to get a logo-ed product we wanted to give as a Christmas present! And was happy to do it! I had to wait 4 minutes in line at Dutch Bros and they wouldn't let me pay for my cup of coffee because of the wait... I waited for my son's doctor for 58 minutes and he didn't even say he was sorry. Used to spend a LOT of money there when they still had experienced people working there. Now I have to drive by slowly and make sure a familiar face is working before I go in there. Since they opened up a new location in Silverton they took almost all of the experienced people with them and didn't worry about training the new hires. Now my drink tastes completely different every time I go in, not good for a $4 drink. And don't go at night with kids in the car, there's one guy that works in the evening that blasts a bunch of raunchy gangsta rap with all kinds of cuss words that kids don't need to hear. read more
