The Onion Dog is a 1/3 pound beef dog spliced open for a drizzle of onion marmalade and topped with fresh fried onions. I swear this marmalade needs to be jarred asap - as it makes the hot dog one of my favorite bites! Paul's Reuben is clearly a dinner favorite! With 8 oz of fresh sliced corned beef piled high and a delicious sauerkraut and dressing! The Onion Rings/Fries combo seems simplistic, until the heaping basket comes your way - and the more than unique thick spiraled fries. Never have I ever seen these... and they are definitely something to stop in for all on their own. The waitresses are just great people. Asking about your vacation, giving pro tips on how to make your order perfection, and just caring about you like a family member would at a home cooked meal in your kitchen. If you dare have room, the desserts are sliced fresh from a display in the deli - I couldn't help but take pictures of the Skyscraper Cakes (Chocolate and Carrot options). I was actually disappointed with the brisket, it tasted by boiled beef. Being a 70+ year old kid from the Bronx who grew up with kosher deli's on every other corner I was spoiled. Nothing is like it used to be. But thankful that places like Rosenfeld's are still around and keeping memories alive.
