Okay, fine. Well I arrive to pick them up and the hem on the jeans is a solid 1" thick wide. I nearly blew a gasket. I calmly explain that this looks nothing like the hem on a pair of jeans, which is what I said I wanted. She apologized and rehemmed the jeans while I waited. Then I tried to pick up the dress two different times when he said he was open but he was not. Finally intercepted the shop when it was open. I was reviewing my clothes to ensure they were adequately cleaned. My blazer looked a little discolored (it may have just been the low ambient light), so I asked nicely if it was dry-cleaned also. Instead of just answering the question politely (like "yes" or "of course"), out of nowhere he got defensive and angry and shouted at me: Smell it! Smell it! He also got defensive, saying in an angry tone that I inspected clothes like looking at a dead body. Aside from a dumb analogy, it's any customer's right to view clothes to ensure they're adequately clean before paying. Very basic and simple. He's also not usually there before 3p, and requested that I pick up my clothes between 4 - 6:45p. Not very convenient compared to other cleaners. He said he waited too long for me, which makes ZERO sense because I arrived at ~ 6p, within the time frame that he requested. He also charges more than other dry cleaners on average, especially for jackets and blazers. This guy is either a miserable, unhappy person or has a mental illness. I will NEVER come back here again. No one deserves to be treated this way.

What makes this place stand out is that on one occasion we brought in our duvet cover to be cleaned and they told us it doesn't have to be dry cleaned, and even said the cost wasn't necessarily worth it unless you like how the duvet feels after dry cleaning (it feels a little different if it's machine-washed). My wife and I were so impressed by their honesty. They could easily pocketed the money to have our cover cleaned, but instead offered an alternative that was of no immediate benefit to them. In no way does it look like their intention to be unfriendly, but it's just the way they operate - quick and to the point. In addition, they don't speak fluent English, so sometimes things can get lost in translation. If you DO need any type of alterations or clothing fixes, all you have to do is walk in, present to them what you need done and they'll take a look at it on the spot and let you know if it can or cannot be done. If whatever you need can be done, they'll fill out a receipt for you with the date you came in, what the work is and how much it might cost. When your clothing is ready, they'll give you a call and you can come in to pick it up. It's that easy or at least those were the experiences I had and each time was a replica of the previous. In addition, the pricing for their work was very reasonable as I called up a few tailoring shops for a quote and Sanita's always came out as the lowest or equivalent.
