I haven't been back here for nearly a decade even though I would walk by and smell the grilling after going to the gym. I thought the food tasted better than what I remembered. I especially liked the lamb chops and beef kebabs. I also liked the smoked eggplant and beet salad. I'm not sure about their tabouleh which is too sour, and also their rice sort of reminds me of Chinese sticky rice and I prefer Iranian/Jordanian type of rice. The space is good and isn't as tight and busy as their franchise competitor Panini Grill, but the service is at a slower pace. I'd say that the only thing I'd would have liked is larger portions. You have to ask for more pita bread and their protein portion doesn't quiet satisfy me. But I guess this is the only way for them to generally keep prices under $20 per plate with costs going up. By the way, what's up with so many single review accounts for this spot? I don't think that is necessary... it's a solid but not spectacular option. read more

March 2, 2024 new Mediterranean restaurant to try in the Brea area near target shopping area. Very nice establishment. Great Mediterranean, mid eastern music playing. I love it. I love their culture. The food is delicious, healthy and fresh. I'm all about healthy eating and Mediterranean food is the best way to go. I had the chicken kebabs with the rice and the potato salad, which is made with olive oil and parsley OMG, that was the best potato salad I've ever had. The chicken kebabs were delicious great flavor cooked just right just delicious. Also we had an order of kebab lambs which were very good yogurt count cucumber salad, which is always delicious and also they served us a little dipping sauce I wasn't quite sure what it was but it taste like probably yogurt, sour cream, and a little cake of something but it was delicious. The food was excellent excellent customer service. Mediterranean restaurants is the only place you can find Almaza Lebanese beer very light Pilsner delicious crisp. Also, I got a large of baklava. Looking forward to having that later. It looks so homemade and delicious great restaurant highly recommend will definitely will be back. Excellent customer service really nice establishment. Drove all the way from Pasadena to eat here bc it's seriously the best of the best out there. We live right next to the OG Raffi's yet we still prefer to come here. So so good!!!! We got filet mignon, salmon, shrimp. Everything is so tender and juicy. Worth the drive. My 3yo daughter ate just as much as us! read more

The chicken plate, with hummus or baba ghanoush, and salad, is excellent. The chicken comes with a small side of toum (I asked for extra and was not charged, thank you) and pita are tasty. Everything was AMAZING! Very fun, but also chill atmosphere and the service is great. Our server was Qais who was very attentive, knowledgable but also very fun! The chicken and kefta kebab tasted great! Service was good a bit awkward at first since there is no hostess table. The reason why I'm giving it a 4 star is because you can order the combo meal online but not at the restaurant and the price of the entree is on the expensive side for the amount you get. We substituted the rice for another cold mezza which was an additional $3 more. The value wasn't great for $18-19 meal. My husband wanted the combo meal but couldn't get it at the restaurant and the only way to get it is to add an e tea skewer for $6 which is a lot more then you would order it online. Sooo delish!! This is probably my second favorite mediterranean place. The first place is in Cerritos! I got their beef kabob plate, which came with with a side and garlic sauce. The sauce was sooo good and the hummus was 100/10! I think what really topped off the meal was the service. The server working was soo nice and attentive to us! Been their for lunch . Pretty causal ambience it good for a weekday lunch. Had veggie entree which had rice , falafel and stir fry veggie ( eggplant , Peppar , mushroom , zucchini , tomatoes ) . It comes with choice of cold maze so I chooses Hummus. Taste was good for falafel as it was cripsy and soft from inside . Veggie were grilled but lacked taste. It also had a garlic sauce which did had strong garlic flavor Took a veggie platter which had cauliflower , falafel , cheeses stuff and veggie stuff rolls which was nice. We came here during lunch time so ordered off the lunch special menu which are all pita pockets. We ordered chicken Schwarma, beef kabob, beef Schwarma , lamb kabob and a salad. Service was fine- with us being practically the only customers I would expect it to be at least fine. Everything was $12 or more for a pita pocket with meat of choice. If you wanted potato wedges, $3 more. For this price I was expecting a very good quality pita and meat. I felt like it was cafeteria quality- not very pretty to look at and everything tasting dry, not fresh. The pita fell apart for every single person upon the first bite. Isn't the point of a pita to be able to hold it and eat like a sandwich? We couldn't, had to use a fork after the first bite. Since everyone's fell apart we could see what was inside. They loaded the meat only on top and inside was all vegetables. The meat was dry for everyone. Nobody said theirs was juicy. Each pita also had some sort of yogurt or tahini sauce that really overwhelmed the flavors of the meat and made the pita really soggy. This sauce should really be on the side for dipping so people have a choice of how much the sauce they want to eat (none of us would've wanted much) and so the bread wouldn't get soggy. The highlight of the meal was the $3 potato wedges. This was done right - crispy and well flavored. Really disappointed with the quality of food and pricing here. Would not return. read more

What a hidden gem in the Target shopping center across the street from Brea Mall. Food here is... simply... devine! Everything is delicious and flavorful. Their chicken shawarma entree is popular and is my favorite - chicken is tender and has a hint a curry, rice is nicely flavored, and the side - I usually get the Mediterranean salad, adds a refreshing crunch. Grilled salmon entree is good too. The white garlic sauce goes with everything. I usually like to buy a jar to take home. Drinks are strong - they don't skimp on the alcohol.
